Dr. Barnes and his entire staff are in a league of their own! They are exceptional, caring people and actually make dental visits fun instead of scary. I had a couple of hairy teeth incidences last year, where I had to see Dr. Barnes several times for cracked crowns. Even though his schedule was packed, they got me in asap (they called me to get me in even earlier whenever there was a cancellation). Dr. Barnes himself, is masterful in his craft. This is the most bizarre experience I've ever had a dental office. Several things were off about this place. I wanted a broken tooth repaired and he asked me why I wanted it fixed. I wanted a conservative treatment and he wanted to be aggressive. He didn't like me asking questions about possible conservative treatment. He argued that either treatment would cost the same, so the cost didn't matter. I said saving my tooth matters. I also have gum line recession on my front teeth and he blew air on them and asked if that hurt. Which it did. He wanted to carve out the bone and put an inlay in it which makes zero sense. I need a gum surgeon for that. His hygienist spread out my cleaning saying they couldn't clean everything in one sitting. I went to two appointments, didn't go to the third. Needless to say I do not recommend him. I have since found another dentist and she looked at my tooth and she recommended the conservative treatment to save my tooth without me even asking. read more

Dr Barnes is an such an awesome dentist. He will recommend a treatment plan for your teeth but your not obligated to do everything on your plan. He isn't a cosmetic dentist but when we moved out of state for a few years our new dentist was very impressed with his work. I have my whole family going here and have a very professional service I've ever dream about. For my son it was a first time dental appointment and he was so exited, for my wife eventually were fixed all her dental and sensitive problems. For me just found a 'soft hand' and very patience hygienist Suzanne for my regular cleaning procedures. Also office staff is friendly, Chantrice takes time to review proposed procedures with you before, and okay them with your insurance, and gives you estimates for your approval before doing the work.
