The scheduled day/time came but nobody showed up. I called and they said they'd forgotten to call over the weekend telling me the part hadn't come in yet. I'd taken time off work to schedule around that appointment, so the oversight was extremely inconvenient. I asked about rescheduling and they said they'd call me back, which they never did. I tried calling for weeks and couldn't even leave a voicemail because the mailbox was full. Finally, I gave up and scheduled another company to do that work, but they can't get us in until after Christmas, which means we're unable to use our fireplace for Thanksgiving or Christmas. Also, now it seems that the money we paid for the inspection may be wasted because the new company will likely charge me to do their own inspection. I really wish Victor would return my calls and get this work scheduled before Christmas, but I cannot waste any more of my own time calling with no answer. Very disappointing.

Kevin and his brother consistently demonstrated exemplary manners and communication skills and were highly respectful of our property throughout every stage of the project. They carefully protected our newly installed Gray Lueder pavers and refinished pool deck during their work. Upon completion they thoroughly cleaned up after themselves. We highly recommend their services and will use them again, once we are ready to replace our wooden privacy fence. It is refreshing to find someone to work with whose word is impeccable. Be Aware (edited 8.17.26)…read more My experience: I was given a strong sales pitch, but then there was no communication after the contract was signed about what to expect/how to prepare. The owner said the work would take half a day. The work actually took two full days. I would've been stuck inside my garage. Had a friend who had had foundation work done not told me to park on the street. The workers who showed up spoke Spanish only; no one showed up to communicate between customer and employees in case of questions/concerns. The workers laid out tarps to collect dirt, dug up and replanted landscaping, and seemed to work hard every moment of both days. I would love to know how much they were paid from the $6k I was charged. I provided snacks, drinks, and lunch the first day and ended up with a broken cooler. I managed to fix the cooler, so no harm, no foul. The workers never left the property the first day until they left to go home. If they used the restroom, they did it in the holes they dug and on my neighbor's (property camera to prove). The owner initially seemed unconcerned and referred to using the restroom on my neighbor's property as being cultural. He seemed more concerned about them going to the restroom in the holes, but not the illegal trespassing on my neighbor's property. Jackhammering cracked the front walkway the width of the walkway. I was assured I would be happy with the concrete patches after foundation work, but I am not. Additionally, in my opinion, the front walkway was not backfilled properly and it has sunk down far more than it already was resulting in a significant, dangerous slope. LS says it was like that before the foundation work, but we can agree to disagree. While the front walkway was somewhat slanted, the 30" cavity under the walkway did not exist before the foundation work. LS says otherwise and again we can agree to disagree. The plumber sent out by LS to do a static line/leak test performed the test incorrectly and the plumber lied. He used the sewer clean out in the front yard and also said there was pipe separation. That same plumber came back on a different day and said he had a better camera, but when he found out I had booked a different plumber to come out he left immediately without using the camera and doing a second leak test like he said he would. I hired my own honest plumber. He pulled a toilet from the highest point in the home for the leak test (which passed) and then showed me with a high resolution camera that there were no breaks or separated pipes. Had I listened to the plumber LS sent out I would likely have spent at least $20k in unnecessary work. I STRONGLY recommend anyone having foundation work done to hire their OWN PLUMBER for a leak test. I would not sign a contract requiring you to use a plumbing company that the foundation company requires you to use!! In fairness, LS did not require me to use their plumbing company for the warranty, but that company makes LS look shady so hopefully either that company performs leak tests correctly now or they are no longer used by LS. I contacted the engineer LS hired about inspecting the work on my property and they could not/would not provide any proof that they had been to the property. When I told them no one aside from LS employees showed up on my cameras those two days the engineer ceased communication with me. It has been one year since foundation work was done. I have various reasons, that I am purposely keeping private, for waiting this long to post a review. I pray the work that was done holds like I was assured it would. (The rest of that comment was edited/deleted.) Lastly, I have been emailed a Cease and Desist letter from the attorney representing LS threatening to sue me if I do not take down my review. This is a nice way to reduce in-person estimates and scheduling. They then provide a live walkthrough of the mapping and estimation through the same video chat. Once complete, they send the estimate along with the overhead screenshot view. Dayne was extremely helpful and professional throughout the call. He discussed and clearly explained the various items and insights on the work involved. All my questions were answered and their pricing seems good. We're still in the midst of getting estimates, but first impressions of Dayne and Ergeon have be very positive.

One was privacy, on front, ours was iron on front and it's about an acre the had to fence off on 3 sides with chain link & the other neighbor only had the posts put in because our ground apparently is not made of dirt, just rock and unlike us, that neighbor has some great carpentry skills. We also had several stone columns. The masonry guys came on the date scheduled & on time. We were amazed at how quickly they went up. Employees were very nice & gave us our privacy. No slacking off. Very respectful. It was near the holidays so it took a little while before the front went up. went But they also had to order additional parts for a change our neighbor made. They came earlier than scheduled. Those employees were also great. Never saw them even turn to look at our home as they walked back and forth through the back (our many windows have no curtains). They came on time, never saw them slack off. I don't think I even saw them leave for lunch. When they were done for the day, they cleaned up. The foreman even noticed some materials we didn't order that would help keep the fence from moving around. So it was ordered & they installed same day. Not only that, the only winter day we had in texas happened to be the last day they had to finish. He asked if they coukd work on sunday & we said of course. But he told us they might wait until winter was over, on Monday. But the next day on Sunday, when it was crazy cold, they showed up and by the end of the day they were done! Foreman came to ask if it was all good. And then they left on their merry way. Our emails with questions were answered promptly and usually the same day. The fence looked great. A couple weeks later, maybe earlier, we received another email to check in on us & find out if there was anything that we needed. Highly recommend.

Everything went fairly smoothly up until the day of the installation of my iron fence surrounding my home. A few days prior to the scheduled installation, I asked the representative if there would be someone supervising the installation who speaks fluent English. He said there wouldn't be anyone supervising because his wife was scheduled to go into labor on that day. He reassured me there would be no issues and the workers would know EXACTLY what they needed to do. I reiterated to him how important it is they install the iron fence low enough to prevent my dog from digging a hole escaping. I reluctantly agreed to proceed with the installation based on his reassurances. The day of the installation, the workers showed up at my door and the first thing one of the workers did was hand me a cell ph and someone with Northwest told me, "Can you tell them where to install the fence" I told him I already went over all this with my rep and I do not feel confident communicating with workers who do not speak English. I ended the call and immediately called the rep and told him that someone needs to get down here and communicate everything we had already went over. The rep came down and told the workers where to install everything. I asked him who I should contact at the office if there is a problem and reminded him what he told me about the workers knowing exactly what they need to do. He responded by saying, "I thought it wasn't an issue to you that they don't speak English?" This was NOT what I stated and told him I only agreed to allow the installation to proceed because of his reassurance they would not need any additional guidance during the installation. Sure enough, after they got started prepping the ground and installing the fence, the gate was being installed too high, leaving a large gap at the bottom, and I tried to communicate this with the workers with no luck. I told the workers to stop completely and, at this point, I was really starting to lose my patience. I immediately called the Northwest office and told them the fence was being installed too high from the ground and how they needed to send someone over immediately or I would be sending the workers away for the day. They sent someone down about 30 minutes later and he communicated with the workers, the proper way to install the fence. I asked the supervisor to stick around to ensure there were no more issues. They 'completed' the installation and they had forgotten to attach adhesive to the caps on the fence posts as well as failing to install the latch on the side gate. They had to return two separate times, requiring me to take time out of my day to be here, to complete the gate lock installation and attach the caps properly. I also started finding pieces of sharp metal in my lawn they failed to clean up which posed a major safety hazard for our family and dog. All of this nonsense could have been avoided if the representative assigned to my project would have scheduled the installation at a time when he could have been present to supervise and inspect the work being done by the subcontractors they hired...

I would give them more stars if they had followed up with me and assured me our job was in line to get started. But after about a month, nothing. That was disappointing. I felt it was important I updated my review as a lot has happened to the deck in the 3 years since…read morethey put it in. Though the deck looked good initially in just 3 years it is rotting away and we just now realized to what extent. It got in such a bad state we decided to have someone redo the whole deck. When they took off the top boards the frame itself had half rotted away (including the whole frame for the steps) and we realized it could have caved under us at any time. In the attached picture you will see the current state of the frame. Half of it has rotted away. We initially used them because they were the best price and they did work fast and were flexible to our requests. However, the tradeoff seems to be they used poor material. It was either not pressure treated or leftover material they got from a building being constructed that isn't meant to be used for a deck. I can't confirm but regardless proper material shouldn't rot like this in just 3 years. I write this to warn you to make sure they are not skimping on the materials as this can become a safety hazard.
