I am happy to say that I am very satisfied with the level of care and attention to detail that the staff provides at Cascade Dental. Dr. Bass is warm, knowledgeable, humorous, and efficient. His mannerisms are professional and his recommendations have thus far proven to be completely on point. And if that wasn't enough, every member of the team is wonderful, and it feels like a visit with friends more than a visit to the dentist. Additionally, I look forward to my visits with the hygienist (Dr. Laurel) because she genuinely cares for not only the health of my teeth, but my overall well-being. I never thought I would find another hygienist who would do nearly as good a job as my last one (Dr. Elizabeth), but her enthusiasm and considerations rank her as top notch. I'm sorry that I hadn't taken the time to give this much-deserved praise to this practice sooner, but on the other hand, after being with them now for over a year, I can say with conviction that I would absolutely recommend this business based on numerous pleasant interactions. I had no idea I wasn't getting a root canal until, I called about my claim being denied because it wasn't a root canal. Apparently, I misunderstood the changes but the condescending receptionist was a big disappointment. I didn't deserve that. See reviews other reviews on google. Beware of billing here!

They looked online to see my benefits and assumed that all funds were available, even though my dentist had referred me and provided a lengthy explanation of what he was doing. They did not call the insurance company to verify and assured me my deductible of $500 would cover the remainder. I reemphasized that I was having work done at my dentist's office after my appointment with them. Three months later, I received an additional $900 bill because my insurance didn't pay all the fees ( $145 for limited exam/$150 for CT/xray/$1590 for treatment). When I asked what happened, I was rudely informed, "Well, you signed an agreement that said you would pay, and we don't call your insurance to verify coverage available." I subsequently called the Bend office and talked to a very helpful lady who explained everything, but again, they should have verified the coverage beforehand. So, if I need another treatment, it will certainly not be here. Another point: My son lost his job (company closed) and has no income or insurance. He was referred by the same dentist who, knowing of his circumstances, waived a lot of his fees. This group did a root canal and wouldn't offer even a small discount that was paramount to what they give the insurance company. He wasn't asking for it for free, just maybe a little something. The response was basically, "Pay the $2100 or don't get it".

My first experience with the endodontist was not great. He was very rough and broke my tooth off in…read morethe course of a root canal. Granted, it was a weak tooth and I think he was the new guy. However, the next day I received a call from them and instead of checking on my well being, they were calling to tell me I had paid the wrong amount and needed to come immediately and correct the mistake. Blaming me for THEIR MISTAKE! I paid the amount I was told to pay. They refused to admit it was their mistake. So I paid it. I later went back for my follow up which was included in the original appointment. I agreed to an additional xray and was told the amount it would cost. I paid that amount upon leaving that day and then found they billed my insurance for the follow up that was supposedly included in the original cost of the first treatment. Not only that, I was called again after that appointment and blamed and disrespected for a past due balance of a copay that was never billed to me. The main endodontist here is good but their billing and customer service sucks!!

Read the negative reviews before looking at the 5 stars because they all say the same thing. I was told I need 11 fillings on my first visit there. 11! I didn't advocate for myself because I trusted that a dentist would have my best interest in mind. I do not feel that was the case here. Every time I have been there, the cleanings have been max 20 minutes (does not feel complete) and the filling experiences are horrible, there are people running around and hardly talking to patients. I expected to at least be told that the doctor was leaving the room and a hygienist would be finishing it, but I looked up at the end and saw a random person I have never seen finishing fillings on my teeth. When I had to go back because of severe pain and sensitivity lasting over 10 days after the fillings, they then proceeded to poke around with no numbing in my severely irritated mouth. Once I was finally given a tiny dose of numbing, they started doing more work and it was so painful, I just wanted it to be over. However, the dentist told me "It's really hard to work on you when you're shaking like that." It was absolutely demoralizing and disrespectful. I clearly was in pain, but she just wanted to race through it and get it done. This was far from the only brash, rude and completely unprofessional thing she said in the appointments I have been to there. Additionally, because everything was so rushed, chaotic and disorganized, 2 -two! - of my fillings were done so poorly and rushed that, according to a different and much kinder dentist, it has caused irreversible pulpitis and I have to now get 2 root canals. The new dentist I have gone to now states that this is far from the first patient they have had that has come from this office with this issue. AVOID this place if you want any sort of care or want to keep the nerves in your teeth.
