Not sure i can trust this place. prices seem exorbitant with several add ons that others didn't charge or billed for less.. Was very uncomfortable after my 2nd visit...I cancelled all appointments and decided to take my business elsewhere. Dr. Helmy I am very thankful for the amazing work of restoration and transformation on my front upper teeth. I have the best experience for last 20 years ..after changing several dentist in Palm beach and Broward counties. Doctor Helmy went above and beyond to fulfill and exceed my expectation. I had truly difficult front teeth with very old crowns that needed a special care and replacement. He changed few temporary crowns made to accommodate my very specific mouth size and bite. Doctor waited long enough and wanted to ensure I am comfortable wearing them. I was delighted to receive the most beautiful 4new crowns and 2veneers. I am truly thankful for the patience and great advice given during the process . I greatly appreciate Dr. Helmy professional expertise. He is always taking the time needed to complete the job to the greatest detail and to best satisfaction of his client and for his own. Dr. Helmy really delights in his work and in takes a great pleasure and integrity doing it. Doctor Helmy really wants to see people satisfied and smile. The atmosphere is very relaxing and nobody is rushing you. The whole staff is very friendly and professional. Also Dr. Helmy is one of the few dentists that are thinking out of the box. I am appalled by the negative reviews I see on this yelp. I have been a patient of Dr. Helmy and iSmile dental for around 8 years. I have had major dental work done including root canals, veneers, and cavities filled as well as regular maintenance. This practice has been fairly priced, incredibly responsive, and the best dentistry I have experienced in my 50+ years of life. Any problem was always taken care of at the practices cost. If things weren't done perfectly the first time which often happens in dentistry, the doctor would do it over again with concern and care. Dentistry is far from easy and each person's individual mouth is an opportunity for the unpredictable to happen. I went to see these people with horrible teeth and a lifetime of bad, painful dentistry. Dr Helmy Changed my life, appearance, and trust of dentists. In fact, for a brief period I had dental insurance that didn't cover him but still went to him and paid out of pocket. This doctor is the furthest from a Con Man I can ever imagine. His wife does everything in running the office to make the patient comfortable and finding a solution to a problem within your budget. Anyhow I stand by this practice of dentistry and my personal experience and professional evaluation. You will not find a more talented dentist with his much integrity as Dr Helmy. read more

The staff is great, I wish the Hygienists could last longer, because they are all always great! Inonce had an emergency and they accommodate me almost instantly! Wow. What can I even say? STAY AWAY from this dentist. He is an absolute crook!!!! I booked an appointment for a dental cleaning with him and then he told me that he doesn't do them, only his Hygienist. OK, but then he said for the first time he will do it. THEN he tried to sell me on a deep cleaning that would cost me $500 and literally turned me away for a regular cleaning. I drove 30 Minutes to his office for nothing. I told him i wanted just a regular cleaning and he would not do it. Absolutely disgusting!!! Shame on him. read more

The best dentist I've been to. They are so flexible with schedules, know what they're doing and have your best interest in mind. They are open Saturday and as late as 7 pm on some weekdays! I always leave satisfied weather it's just a cleaning or more! read more

Ignore the negative reviews! I am sooooo happy that my husband and I found ISMILE! Our experience was TOP NOTCH! The attentiveness of both staff and assistants was EXCELLENT. They were thorough and made me feel like I have been going there for years!!! Not only is their office professional but they took care of my teeth. I had a cleaning and went back for fillings. The very last photo available for viewing on his yelp page is a photo of the dentist himself. Does that look like a person you would want operating on your precious delicate mouth? Would you trust that man-thing with a scalpel inside of your mouth, your kids mouths, anyone you knows mouth? The man-thing is a classic crook. He is shockingly terrible at reading people and his judgement on who he tries to con is even worse. You'd think a con artist would at least know when it's appreciate to con someone and when it is not, right? Obviously there will be people you come across that just know to much about the thing your trying to con them on, right?? Especially a dentist or doctor, you'd think after the strenuous schooling and dealing a variety of people on a daily basis, they'd at least have the competence to know who they can and can't pull a fast one on, right??? Even after I tell this guy I'm a writer, he still tries to con me. Tells me I have one option only, a 10 thousand dollar for literally one tooth option. I plea for something better, is there anything else I ask? The next option is to grind the teeth on each side of the problem tooth down to stumps and make a 3 full too bridge to put in the front of my mouth..... really? Grind my front teeth down to stumps? He says those are my only options.... I say there's no other types of bridges doctor? I've heard of another I swear I have..... he literally had the audacity to go "oh! Maybe you're thinking of a Marilyn bridge".. proceeding to pull a picture up of the bridge that I had inquired about on my F***ING appointment reservation.. and shows me that.... then tells me it'll take 4 days to get the quotes on all these things ready.... 3 things?? 4 days for quotes??? But wait! There's more! At the beginning of our conversion he told me he could cement the fallen tooth back in my mouth and make it last for another month or two... at the end of the conversation he tells me, once he sees I clearly can see what he's doing, that the tooth could be salvaged for the weekend until I figure out which quote I want to go with.. and changes his 4 days quote waiting period, to 20 mins, aka the drive home to grab my tooth I left there.... My dentist back home is a family friend, parents have been going for 20 years. Very honest, doesn't con people. He told me taking the nerve out of a route and leaving the rest of the route in, was something done Frequently before modern dentistry came about... which is what a different dentist did too me while I needed an emergency visit and was out of town.... I asked Dr. Helmy if it was bad that my nerve was taken out with the rest of the route being in, the question was rhetorical, I already knew the answer, he tells me "that's standard operating procedure universally in dentistry" I left the office before they could suck a dime out of me. Excellent first visit. Dr. Helmy seems to know his profession very well and has an outstanding personality. His (male) assistant is very kind, as well. You have to love their youthful enthusiasm. The office receptionist was fabulous - Dr. Helms was polite and adequate but I will never return as the dental technician was totally inadequate and should never have been allowed to touch a patient. Do NOT go to this office or you will regret it. Dishonest, deceptive; no integrity. Never imagined a doctor's office would be this unprofessional. I had Blue Cross/Blue Shield (BC/BS) insurance for 24 years. Moved to FL in 2017 and looked for a dentist on BC/BS In-Network/PPO list, which Dr. Helmy was on. At first appointment Marianne Helmy (doctor's wife) said office policy was they needed payment up-front. I never paid PPO doctors up-front before. She said they would file a claim with BC/BS and any over payment would be refunded. I never received an Explanation of Benefits (EOB) from BC/BS. In Feb. 2018 I had second appointment and again paid up-front and didn't receive an EOB so I called and Marianne said a claim was filed and "you have to wait." In Sept 2018, at third appointment I told Marianne I never received any EOBs for the previous appointments. Marianne claimed they were filed, but said all three appointment would be filed. I paid up-front again, and asked for a physician statement for all my appointments, which I never previously received. It contained appointments I never had and mistakes. After two weeks I called BC/BS and they had no record of any claim from Dr. Helmy. They provided forms so I could file a claim myself, which I did in Oct. 2018. BC/BS sent me the EOB and said based on my plan I over paid $174.30 for three appointments. I called and Marianne said she had not received anything from BC/BS, so I sent her my EOB. BC/BS sent a $60 check and EOB to Dr. Helmy's address on file. For months, during many calls from BC/BS, Marianne claimed they never received the check because their address was wrong with BC/BS. (This was a lie) A second check was mistakenly sent to the old address. After months of calls from BC/BS, Marianne refused to change the address in the BC/BS system because she did not want the check from BC/BS and did not want to settle the claim and give me a refund. After months I asked BC/BS what address they sent the checks to. I looked on the county property website and it was Dr. Helmy and Marianne's home address. She lied to me and BC/BS on every call. I informed BC/BS and a Network Mgr called to force them to change their account to the office address. On February 8, 2019, a third check was mailed to the office and a month later BC/BS called and Marianne claimed a third time she had not received the check. She is that pathetic. More calls from the Network Mgr and she admitted they received the check and cashed it in April 2019. Another month and more calls from BC/BS for me to get a refund check. I insisted I pick-up the check because they are so dishonest and desperate to not refund my money I knew they would lie about mailing a check to drag this out longer. I got the check in May 2019, eight months after I filed the claim, and after 30+ phone calls to BC/BS. The fact she and Dr. Helmy thought they could do this is incredible. They do not care about BC/BS policies and had no intention of filing claims with any insurance company. If you read other reviews it's clear they want to be on PPO lists to get new patients, but won't abide by policies because they want to charge more than the plan allowance. They don't file claims and lie about it because they know it will mean lower claim amounts. You pay premiums for decades and a doctor's office like this tries to steal more money from you. All of her lies about filing the claims and I "had to wait" was a stall tactic hoping I would go away. I thought she was colossally incompetent, but her lying and refusal to follow instructions from BC/BS made it clear she and Dr. Helmy intentionally do this. During calls to Marianne you hear a baby yelling, which is documented by other complaints. Very unprofessional for a doctor's office. Their priority isn't patient care or service. I don't care how desperate you are for a dentist, avoid this place. read more

This is such an amazing dental practice! Dr. Helmy is very professional and precise in his work. The staff all greeted me with a smile and took me in right away. I went for teeth whitening and it came out amazing. My teeth have never been whiter and it's been a month since I got it done and they still are white and bright.
