My family just used Lap Of Love veterinary care and hospice services for our precious girl Lexi…read more They came out to our home in March promising that they would make my baby girl comfortable and supply the medication that she needed the following week. I did not get the prescriptions because they were controlled. I had to physically call them three times to get the prescription after the initial visit we no longer heard from Lap Of Love. They didn't check in once a week. They didn't prescribe any medication and they most importantly did not make our girl comfortable. Our Lexi passed away on March 31 today May 14th I received an email asking how Lexi Is? Lap Of Love charged us $605 for their service. Honestly, it isn't about the money I would've paid triple that to save her. It was about the lack of compassion, empathy, and care they lacked. Please I am posting this as a public service announcement. Do not use this company if you love your pet babies.

We were able to say goodbye in the most peaceful manner. Although we were sad to lose her we felt the process was peaceful. The whole process took about half an hour and Lila was sedated prior to the last shot. I recommend Lap of Love to give your pet a proper goodbye in the comfort of your own home.

They provided humane comfort to our 13.5 year old fur baby in our home when he took a bad turn medically. Service was $410 (paid cc over phone) and included treats, medication, prep supplies, and keepsake items (clay paw print, memory book, and small jar of their fur). E-waiver required before services are given. They give you a 4hr estimated window when appointment is secured, then the Dr sends a few txt messages letting you know precise arrival time within 20minutes.

They replied immediately to an evening submission and told me how to contact them in the morning. They walked me through the full process and provided details about next steps. The vet who came out was so kind and thoughtful. She made us feel like we invited a close friend over. She took time to get to know us and my little guy. He was calm the whole time and she was thorough in laying out the expectations. She went above and beyond getting extra prints of our dog's paw and nose with a kit we had purchased. I cannot recommend Angel Pets enough for saying goodbye to your fur babies at home or whenever you choose. I was so glad we got to say our final goodbyes on the couch cuddled up like any normal day.

By morning, I knew I had to let her go, and the thought of taking her to a vet's office where her anxiety would peak with other animals and the noise made me feel awful for her. I was very upset myself, and googled at home pet euthanasia. I called the first place on the list, and they didn't answer. Lap of Love was listed second. I called them and they picked up the phone. That's how they got chosen at 7:45 a.m. The woman I spoke with over the phone was very, very kind. She explained their policies and pricing, gave me time to choose what i wanted to do, and scheduled Dr. Jennie to come to my house between one and two that day. Dr. Jennie called an hour or so before to let me know exactly when she'd arrive (between 1:15 and 1:20). She was absolutely punctual. My dog had been crying before she got there, and was comforted by my holding her. Dr. Jennie encouraged me to do whatever felt right for both me and Gabi. She explained the process to us, took a clip of Gabi's hair for me to save, as well as a paw print. I got to hold my girl the whole time. Dr. Jennie administered the shots when WE were ready, including the final one that stopped Gabi's heart. She wrapped a potty pad around Gabi's bottom half so that I could hold her as she passed, and I did. I cannot speak highly enough of Dr. Jennie and Lap of Love. Losing Gabi so suddenly after sixteen years was nothing short of traumatizing, but they made our last hour together so much more peaceful than it might have been otherwise. Gabi died in my arms, with her head on my shoulder, in the home she knew with the people who loved her around her. The next day, I received an email from Dr. Jennie, letting me know that she was thinking of me and how to access grief services if I needed them. I chose to have Gabi's ashes returned to me and was told it would take two weeks; I just got notified yesterday that they were ready. It had been eight days. I wouldn't normally go into so much detail about the process, but I know that if I had anticipated needing services so soon, I would have wanted to know exactly what happened. I'm so grateful that Gabi's passing was peaceful in the end, and I would recommend Lap of Love to anyone in need of services such as these.
