Even though she didn't know me, she took time out of her day off to come help us, and I will never forget that kindness. She treated Peanut with such gentleness, dignity, and love--as if she were her own. The care and compassion she showed brought me a sense of peace in an incredibly painful moment. I truly feel like the universe placed Dr. Beth in our path to remind me that every life deserves a gentle, dignified goodbye. Even in my moments of guilt--wondering what more I could have done--I'm reminded that what I gave Peanut was love, compassion, and tenderness, and that matters deeply. That kind of care can exist even in the darkest moments. - this thought process is supported by the resources Dr. Beth left me! She provides a booklet on dog grief, and talked through so many things with us. Peanut isn't gone--she's still with me, and her life mattered so much. I believe she brought Dr. Beth into my life to show me a deeper kind of kindness--one I want to carry forward. This experience reminded me that we can choose compassion and dignity, even when it's inconvenient, and that those choices can profoundly impact others. Dr. Beth showed me that in the most selfless way. Dr. Beth isn't just providing a service--she's giving families comfort, calm, and a truly beautiful goodbye. She had either large cell lymphoma or carcinoma (was inconclusive) but either way it was really bad at the end. Dr. Beth has the knowledge to help you understand what is happening, the compassion to guide you through it, and the kindness to come out to our place at some inconvenience to herself (last minute, outside regular hours, etc). I loved that she gave us special family time with our girl as we went through the steps of the at home euthanasia. I loved that she said some words of gratitude for her as she passed, almost like a mini memorial service. It was painful, it is painful, but I don't think I could have asked for a better person to lead us through an extremely difficult decision. I see sad photos of animals here. I choose to remember my kitty when she was at her happiest, and that's the photo I'm sharing here.

I first connected with Loving Kindness to line up the inevitable for my first doggie Jelly. However, knowing the time wasn't quite right for that, with their guidance and excellent vet care, Jelly had more and better quality of life with me. Dr Dahlgren provided excellent care and was available when the going got tough, whether by text or visit and you know things always seem to happen after hours - and having Dr Dahlgren available to advise versus not knowing if a cold show up at some ER was warranted. Along with our primary vet at Betty Baugh's I am confident both Jelly and Boone got amazing care. Emma was visiting monthly and was always able to find the meds Boone needed at the mg best so I didn't have to cut pills etc and when you get a few meds going, it is very very helpful. Gail gave wonderful care with massages and Brandi was gentle and kind on the phone. Dr Dahlgren spent a complete Sunday reassuring me of how to get thru the day, from upping some anti nausea meds to a diet change. I sent pics of things I am sure she has seen before but who wants that diarrhea pic. I just love her and them. I am forever grateful.

The initial…read morecommunication was good and everything seemed to be going well until I paid the "non-refundable $100 deposit". I asked Rebekah if we would be one of the families receiving a pick of the two upcoming litters she was expecting but she said she was unsure, so we were aware it may not be a litter until the fall. However, when I did not hear anything at the end of June I reached out via email twice to her and received no answer. On the 3rd email I politely asked for my refund due to lack of follow-up from the emails and not reaching out to let us know we were not one of the families to pick a puppy out of the 2 litters born. I assumed we were not since she never reached out to let us know, which we told her we were hopeful when initially placing a deposit. She quickly replied when I sent the email asking for my deposit back, stating that she never received the 2 emails prior to now. I kept all my correspondence on the same email chain, so kinda strange she got the one asking for a refund, but not the others. She refused to refund me and quoted the website "no refunds". I even sent another email saying $2400 is a lot of money for a dog, especially when you don't let your customers on a waiting list know where they stand or reply to 2 emails sent 6/17 and 6/20, refund email was 6/24/2025. She replied back and made no mention of my second request for a refund but said that she was disappointed that she will not be working with us solely based on not receiving my emails and made no mention of not following up with us after the litters were born to confirm if we would receive a puppy. Good customer service = communication, puppies were born last week of May/1st week of June, enough time went by to let us know. BEWARE! BEWARE! this is a quick $100 dollars for Rebekah or she would have done the right thing and gave us our $100 dollars back.
