One of the best dentists I've ever used. Dr Hutson is great. He takes the time to examine your teeth and explain everything.

The location of this practice was convenient for our family, and as new residents to the area, we…read morescheduled a new patient appointment for our three-year-old. We prioritize dental care and have consistently maintained regular visits and hygiene for our children since their first teeth appeared. However, during the visit, I was surprised and uncomfortable with comments made by the dentist regarding our family's infant feeding choices, especially given the fact that my son was well past the infant feeding stage and had/has no known oral hygiene or development issues. Specifically, I was told that formula feeding from a bottle was "unfortunate" and that "this practice likes our babies breastfed". While I understand there may be clinical reasons for discussing feeding and oral development, the delivery felt judgmental and inappropriate given the context and timing. I hope the practice considers a more sensitive approach when discussing personal family decisions with patients and gets a complete medical history from parents before making them feel ashamed for their feeding decisions.

We had a great visit, and we appreciated how patient the whole team is. Most important thing is Dr…read more Sara provides a very helpful information on how we can take care of our daughter's teeth and other issues. And of course, lots of prizes and encouraging words for a kid that makes my child relax and happy to want to enhance her teeth cleaning routine.

Okay. So apparently this office has a new scheduling system that none of the staff can explain -…read morelack of training. I was trying to request a late afternoon appointment for my son 6 months out after his cleaning and they could not accommodate, telling me that they schedule top down now. So I guess the late afternoon slots are a lottery system or maybe they pick and choose.. They told me to call a week before the appt to request the 4pm slot - despite telling me that everyone wants those slots. Why act like they will be available? That's why I want to book 6 months in advance. Not only that, the dentist walked away without telling me absolutely anything about my son's teeth. The staff also didn't know when his last xrays were. I asked if insurance covered it, she said it depends on the scan and I asked what scan? Insurance covers the whole teeth scan... So I said... Uhh...yes that - clearly wasn't there to pay for a partial scan? So confusing when it didn't need to be. Also, I was not offered to be able to sit with my son while getting his teeth cleaned. I had to ask the front desk lady if I can go back there after being told to sit in the waiting room. The dentist and director of operations called my son's mom to apologize and bring her into this when she wasn't even there. Not me. Did not ask for my number. Did not ask to apologize to me. That's not right at all. Also, apparently that was the time to talk about my son's teeth and not at the appt??? Also, reportedly claimed I caused a scene. I'm sorry for pointing out the flaws in the system, and the staff's lack of training. You cannot tell me I caused a scene when a lack of professionalism and organization was shown to me - especially the dentist. We didn't want to switch dentists, but now I'm not so sure we'll get the service we deserve anymore here after all this. It's just not right.

He's had a cavity done, two check ups/ X-rays, cleanings, five teeth pulled total (eek! A filling gone wrong from another dentist office, and four baby teeth overcrowding that didn't want to fall out lol), and molar sealants done. All successful! They have been excellent w ever experience. My son is not scared to go there- amazing!! We've seen i think three different dentists, male and females, and all were so friendly and kind. They made my son feel very comfortable. The assistants and hygienists are also so nice and do a great job. They do a great job of explaining things, calmly, and sweetly to my son, during procedures, making him feel at ease. He LOVES the TVs playing kids movies, on the wall, and above him in the chairs. He also is obsessed w the video games section in the front waiting room lol. He likes the "Hills 2 track" game a lot. The place is decorated very kid-like w great murals all over. They give the kids prizes after, and goodie bags, which is fun. My son has an allergy to food coloring, and they're great about that- going above and beyond to get different things without food dyes for numbing gels, teeth cleaning, etc. We also don't use fluoride and they're respectful of my choice, which I appreciate. They are prompt and efficient. Get us in right at our appointment time, most of the time, get things done quickly but well. In at 8am, two teeth pulled and two sealants done, out by 8:45. Wow! The front desk is very nice and knowledgeable. They worked with me when I was self-pay in cash - and have a same day cash discount. Now I have insurance again, and they work well w that also. We started there in 2021, I believe, and although they preferred mask wearing, they didn't seem too pushy about it, and didn't make my son wear one if he didn't want to. Also appreciated, due to his sensory issues. Now it says encouraged, but don't see many now in 2023. They do have you sign paperwork ahead, explaining that they prefer parents to stay outside the rooms, but won't enforce it if they feel strongly. But I've never seen it done, or been asked to, and they are great about me and other parents being a the child the whole time- and close by/ comforting your child during procederes. So I'm glad for that- our babies should have us by their sides during those things. We've loved going here, and glad a friend referred us!
