I take a medication that has " floppy irises" as a side effect. He was able to adapt his procedure to account for that, and it went very well. A number of people have commented on how well they were treated and respected, not only by the doctor, but by his colleagues in the practice. I want to echo that. When I explained that I had another appointment to make, the staff member at the desk was unsympathetic and dismissive. At 10:40 I was finally called back, only to be told there were no rooms available and other patients would go first. I ultimately had to leave and return later in the day. Delays happen, but patients deserve honest updates and some respect for their time. Several other patients in the waiting room were frustrated as well.

So much so the office Mgr got a refund for the exam approved. But it was never sent. Then they wanted just under $1400 for a pair of glasses with progressive lens. Tried to email the corporate offices and the first post that came up was about Acuity under investigation for Medicare fraud. Not one or two cases but TEN. Got a second exam from Costco...Professional, accurate and great value. Got a pair of glasses for less than $300. You could pay for the membership and still save over a $1,000... Be aware of Acuity eye care centers...... just my take.

His manner is kind and considerate and, when he came into the room, he introduced himself as Forrest - not Dr. Murphy - and extended his hand. How many doctors do that!? He quickly assessed the issues and said "Would you like me to take care of that now?" Not "call my front desk to schedule another appointment" but "now"! I was beyond happy to say "yes!". He took me into another room to take care of a PCO issue in both eyes which he handled in literally seconds and said I was "all done". The results are so wonderful.
