After buying a Hyundai Tuscon from Kelly Honda on the Lynnway less than 3 weeks ago, Eric told us that they found an oil leak and epoxy all over the transmission cover holding it in place. Kelly Honda, of course, had "no idea how this happened." Eric and the crew are honest and knowledgeable. They aren't out to screw people, they are here to provide a valuable service to Danvers and the surrounding communities. A++++ work!

I'm updating my review to reflect the full experience with Pete's Garage…read more My car was towed in for a stuck gear shift. After nearly a week before it was inspected, my mom--who was in contact with Scott throughout--was told the shifter cable was BROKEN and quoted $600 for the repair, plus about $200 for the new part, taxes, an oil change, and other related expenses, bringing the total estimate to around $800. At no point was debris mentioned. We got a second opinion at a garage on High Street in Danvers. They inspected the car the next day and said they performed a thorough assessment. They found nothing wrong with the shifter cable. Instead, they found a large walnut lodged against the cable, along with other debris, preventing it from shifting. After cleaning it out and completing the oil change, the car worked perfectly. Total cost: $50. AFTER this review was posted, Eric contacted us and said the shifter cable had come out of position and might eventually break--information that was NOT shared during the original diagnosis or almost week of communication my mom had with Scott. Being quoted close to $800 for a repair that ultimately wasn't necessary, and only receiving a fuller explanation AFTER speaking out publicly, raises serious concerns for us about the thoroughness and reliability of the initial assessment

They provide the best service (customer service included) of basically any business of any kind I use. They are a family business. HONEST. They do great work. I also like doing business with pleasant polite folks. I appreciate them. They are not glitzy, but look way past that. Do you really ever trust car salespeople or mechanics? I promise you can trust these people. 6 STARS

There is a tiny sitting area inside with a bunch of photos, articles etc. that look like they have been there for probably 40 years (I'm guessing 40 :) based on Kniel S's post he's been going there for 39 years! There are photos of the place from the early days. It all looks the same. I could go to other garages but I enjoy the ride to this place, the service and the nostalgia. Update 2017: Bought my mom a used vehicle as a gift last Winter. I brought it to Burnett's for a sticker and they discovered a brake light issue that would cause a sticker rejection. They went out of their way to call around and get the part needed. 2 weeks later my mom's car got side swiped (hit and run) in a parking lot. The damage was very minor but I still wanted to have it fixed for her. These guys did the work for FREE and turned it around in a day!

Warning: Dishonesty and Deception - Avoid this Dealer! In…read more2022, this dealership charged me over $230 to clean clogged sunroof drains on my Macan S after water leaked into the cabin -- claiming it was "routine maintenance," even though the vehicle was under CPO warranty. A late 2024/2025 class action settlement has since confirmed this is a known defect, not a maintenance issue. The settlement extends warranty coverage and mandates one (1) free sunroof drain cleaning per year for ten (10) years from the date the vehicle was first placed in service -- clearly acknowledging Porsche's responsibility. When I followed up recently, Service Manager John Eric was dismissive and either unaware -- or indifferent -- to the court-ordered terms. Even worse, I emailed General Manager John Andrade and received no response. When you're guilty of deceiving customers, I suppose silence is easier than accountability. Owners beware: this dealership is intentionally misleading customers and charging for services Porsche has agreed must be provided for free. Know your rights. Avoid this dealer -- and their sister dealership in Burlington, MA. Find a dealer you can trust!

When I bought it, it had over 70,000 miles and the cpo sheet says all service was up to date. Clearly it was not, but they told me today basically they could do whatever they want. What do you think? Lies, fraud, misrepresentation? Just trying to figure out my next move, and make people aware
