But as "luck" would have it, and as I passed my old friends at WAR this morning, I noticed a flat tire. These things always happen when you're feeling out of luck, or when you least expect it. Today was one of those days, and this was about to put me over the edge. I popped into WAR, as it was just around the corner, hoping they would help me out- and what a warm welcome I was given by Will & Miguel. Not only did they remember me, but they fixed my car right up on short notice and I was able to go about my day. I couldn't ask for better service, these guys are truly kind! Truthfully, every interaction with them has always been a good one, but simply reminded of it today and wanted to share.

So I quickly swap to WAR Auto Tech and the receptionist, Miguel, was very nice. They checked my car and replace the regulator within a day, and didn't charge me for the motor. Eventually cost me half the price the previous store was asking. Although they did not do the window properly(didn't readjust it so it make noises in high speed), but they fixed the issue free of charge and done it quick. I would like to have them with me next time.

**Note that you won't find this review on the company's website because the owner, Jaime Dovale,…read moreremoves all negative reviews ... which, in addition to being deliberately deceptive and dishonest, obviously defeats the purpose of reviews.** Certified. Automotive. Disaster. Without question, this was the worst experience I've ever had as a consumer of any product or service (I'm 58) ... nothing else even comes close. This saga spanned over 2 1/2 years ... it wasn't an isolated incident, and certainly not an outlier. I made the terrible mistake of trusting Jaime Dovale to do a full body-off overhaul of my 2006 Jeep Wrangler, and I couldn't have made a worse choice. Dovale said he was capable of doing the job and estimated that it would take 4-5 weeks. The scope of the project modestly increased as we proceeded, but I ultimately didn't get my Jeep back for 6 months (25 weeks to be exact) ... and only then after frequent visits to check on the status and many requests for completion. When I finally picked up my Jeep, Dovale's endless drivel and empty promises collided with reality ... and reality has prevailed from that day on. I received an absolute mess with which I've been dealing ever since ... a vehicle so riddled with problems that I had to take it back to Certified Automotive Disasters 15 times in the next 13 months ... appalling by any standard. Just think about how insane that is ... 15 times, AFTER he did a full overhaul (ultimately, 17 times in 25 months). And I also had to schedule 3 appointments with a local Jeep dealer and 1 appointment with an auto glass shop to fix problems that Dovale was unwilling to acknowledge, incapable of fixing, or both ... for a grand total of 21 returns in 26 months to fix virtually everything he and his hack techs touched ... and problems remain to this day. Dovale ruined a vehicle that I bought new and had always meticulously maintained ... I now have problems that didn't previously exist (most infuriatingly, water leaks thanks to Dovale's hack body work ... which means my interior gets soaked every time it rains), and he doesn't have the ability or integrity to fix them. NAPA has a limited two-year warranty on its parts and labor, but it turned out that much of the hack work that Dovale did on my Jeep wasn't covered. Yet Dovale falsely claimed, repeatedly, that ALL of his work was covered by a two-year warranty ... a complete lie. He finally admitted (via text) that, actually, he has no written warranty ... which means no warranty exists ... by far, Dovale is the most dishonest businessperson I've ever encountered. I complained to NAPA about a rear main seal leak that Dovale failed to fix twice, and that he then denied was even leaking ... after the local Jeep dealer confirmed that it was the seal, NAPA paid for me to have it repaired at that dealer ... I have the reimbursement check to prove it. Whoever heard of an auto repair shop that is so incompetent that they pay to have the work done at a dealer? I certainly hadn't ... until Certified Automotive Disasters. There isn't enough space in this review to explain all of his careless, sloppy, incompetent mistakes, including many that put my safety at risk ... far worse than a bad DIY job. I've had exponentially more problems since Dovale 'fixed' my Jeep than I did in the previous 15 years combined ... body work, clutch, 4WD, wheel balancing, steering/suspension, exhaust/tailpipe, check engine light, alternator, rear main seal, door seals, header seal, windshield, rear wiper, tailgate hinges/alignment, headlight alignment, turn signals, damage to interior, and the list goes on. And on top of the mind-boggling list of problems/mistakes/errors, the stress, inconvenience, and disruption to my life that he caused is incalculable ... constant and nonstop. I wouldn't trust Dovale to properly inflate a tire ... but if you don't value your vehicle, your money, or your time, then Certified Automotive Disasters is the place for you.

I couldn't recommend Jaime, Steve and the team at Certified Automotive more. they are honest,…read morethorough, have very reasonable pricing, communicative, and professional. When my 2017 Audi went out of warranty, I started going to Certified after first referring a friend based on another friends recommendation. I couldn't be happier. I never again have to be worried about work being completed properly or being overcharged. Never. I really like them a lot. A++

"After having a couple of shops take me for a few "Ride$" (and I don't mean the pleasant ones),…read moresince it seems that there is this gender interaction between how informed people appear to be and the prices they get. Well, I finally came across Vito and his shop in Revere, as a result of a referral, almost begging for help to find a true diagnosis and RESOLUTION to everything that was wrong with my car (one too many to list!) WTH, my car was only 6 years old and it literally did no more than 50mph on the highway (LOL!). It was so bad I couldn't even identify where the raddles and noises were coming from anymore, I simply turned the music up and drove and after so much money spent and no results, I started neglecting the damn thing. Anyhow, I'm so thankful found his shop, it was the light at the end of the tunnel (Seriously, it was BAD!). Of course I was looking for a good deal, but most importantly, the assurance that my car would be worked on for once and for all by someone who knew what they were doing, with skills, HONESTY, and who wouldn't pull another scam again because I'm a woman, DAMN IT! Vito was communicative and professional through the whole time, even when the work took a bit longer than what he had originally quoted, honest about the repairs that ended up costing me more than I expected, which have my car now running like NEW again (Halleluiah!). He was clear and direct with no "runarounds", and always answered in a respectful timely manner. He was truly committed on delivering an excellent project after hearing my history and frustration. I was so content and satisfied with his work, I have then decided to use Vito's Shop to also take care of the bodywork on my car which could also use some TLC (Oops!)" Highly recommend it!

I took the car to Mike's Auto Body, since they were good to me when I went to them 10 years ago. Mike was very personable then. I dread going through the process of getting quotes etc. knowing that the price and time would be an inconvenience to my busy work schedule. I drove my car in, hoping they'd give me a quick estimate at best and an appointment for (an estimate) another time at worst. Eric came straight out, looked over what needed to be done (I also asked for some scratches to be buffed out) and gave me an estimate of time and price. The guys took my trim off whilst I waited, then I left to return a couple of weeks later to have the license plate and trim reattached, as well as scratches buffed out. Some of the scratches were pretty bad, but the staff warned me not to expect them to be perfectly removed, which was what I'd already suspected. For the price, they did a great job. Often times, I expect to be denigrated in one way or another (it's just my experience in life) when I seek service for my car, renovations to my house, etc... however, the staff at Mike's Auto Body have always been respectful toward me. Mike gave me the confidence to go back this time, so I assume the professional and respectful behaviour comes from the top down. I truly won't go anywhere else. The price, though excellent, was secondary to the professionalism and respect the staff show me.
