I was nervous going in my first time, but everyone from the front desk staff to the hygienists and head dentist is really great. I've been four times now this year: for an initial exam, two periodontal deep cleans, and another checkup. They do quality work, offer payment plans, the office itself is pleasant, and the appointments seem to go by really quickly. The only con is that sometimes it takes a while to get seen, so be sure to book early. My teeth feel so much better after working with them for a few months and I'm grateful for that. I wanted to schedule my next appointment in October, and I gave them my insurance's coverage information that clearly states the appointment would be covered. However, based on some "policy" that the front desk came up with, they wanted me to schedule the appointment in November because they were worried insurance wouldn't cover the appointment. 1. I asked to see this policy as written, and the front desk told me no. 2. I asked to speak to an office manager, and the front desk told me no. She asked me if I wanted to speak to the other receptionist. I said yes. After being on hold, she did not transfer me to anyone and told me to go to another dental office. 3. I asked them if they could file the claim for me in October, and if insurance wouldn't cover it, I'd be happy to pay out of pocket. They refused to even try to file the insurance claim, stating their "policy" tells them not to. I understand being worried insurance won't cover the appointment, but I'm angry at the fact they wouldn't even try to file the claim without a good reason, especially when I told them I would assume the risk. I also think the front desk was unprofessional in saying she'll let me speak to another receptionist but then turns around and tells me to go to another dental office. I DO NOT recommend this office, especially to my fellow military spouses. Please go anywhere else.

I have been to many dentists, but I just felt like this guy just did not care. The 2 extractions…read morewere fine, I did not feel those, however the shots to numb me were truly horrible. Of all the times I have ever been to the dentist I have NEVER yelled out in pain as I did when I recieved the 4 shots to numb me up. He pushed the medicine in so fast that I just felt it build up in one spot, almost like a super pressure burning sensation, mind you I am a 32 year old male and I don't consider myself a wimp. The person assisting the dentist did not put much effort into swabbing the topical numbing gel before the shots, and the dentist did not give much time for it to take affect. Like I said before, the actual procedure went well, although at first I though he cracked my front tooth. After everything was done I asked if I was going to get any antibiotics for the remainder of the infection, they told me that it should go away since the abscess was removed. I am not 100% convinced that it will. The infection made my actual jaw swell, kind of like the feeling when you are numb from the dentist with how your jaw feels twice as big, but without the loss of feeling, but instead it is tender. I now am going back to AFFORDABLE DENTISTRY because here lately that has been my best experience. I may have to schedule a follow up with them to double check this infection. The only thing that made this visit worth it was Jennette. She was very nice and helpful, in fact almost everyone was very nice. The dentist was nice but really did not want to spend much time with the patient, he just wanted to rush through everything. Thats why there are 2 stars instead of 1, it is because everyone was nice. I just can not go through another experience like that again.
