As a long-time resident of the Metro East area, I have had the chance to get acquainted as a patient with several family dental offices in the nearby communities, and I have to say Stone Falls Dental Care really impressed me most. To begin with, their new patient offers far exceed anything I've seen anywhere else or online. The practice itself has a very comfortable waiting room (yes, the sugar free candy bowl IS really there, as other reviewers have pointed out!), an awesome offering of healthy beverages, and top-notch dental equipment. My initial consultation was free and very much in-depth and detailed, compared to other places. Dr Prane was just terrific - she took the time to address all my concerns and questions and not once did I feel hurried or forced into making decisions I wasn't ready for. I've had a few appointments since and I've met the entire team - all extremely friendly, courteous, professional and prompt. On the one occasion that they had a delay in the schedule which caused me to wait about 15-20 extra minutes before I could be seen, I received an apology card in the mail the next day, signed by the doctor and staff - and a Starbucks gift card enclosed...! Other positive impressions: 1) I saw many thank-you cards from their patients in several areas, which speaks volumes. 2) They gave me a very detailed estimate of what my insurance was going to cover before, and always worked to maximize my benefits. 3) I would encourage anyone to take advantage of their free whitening for life offer! read more

My first visit to Stone Falls Dental (Dr. Prane & Associates) was the most thorough dental exam I have ever had in my lifetime. The staff were like a breath of fresh air compared to my previous dentist of 25 years. Stephanie x-rayed all my teeth and where my former dentist said he would have to pull all my lower teeth, remove the implants I just had done a year ago, and do lower dentures or else, do numerous additional implants which I cannot afford now. Those were my only options. Stephanie informed me there were various other alternatives. Dr. Prane gave me several options and explained all the pros and cons. It turns out my one option was more affordable than my previous two implants. She also found an infected tooth that he never found on the top and they also told me I had mild gum disease which needed to be taken care of before before it became worse and I could lose my other teeth and quite possibly my existing implants. None of these things were found at my last dental check-up 2-3 weeks ago by my previous dentist. Stone Falls Dental is my new choice for dental care. Everyone there are so friendly and polite. They treat patients with respect and you are not just another patient there to rush in and out. read more

This place is straight up legit. Doc Prane is a boss and clearly knows the dentistry game. She's no bs and I really trust her assessments. My girl Amanda cleans my teeth flawlessly and does me the courtesy of asking if I've been flossing, even though we we both know she can tell that I haven't. They care about my level of understanding to the point that they take the time to break down all the dentistry jargon they go through when they're evaluating my situation. It's definitely the best dental care I've received to date. They're always ready to see me when I walk in. I'm always on time and so are they. The staff be so friendly and this place has everything (read in Stefon voice for you SNL viewers out there) little snacks for you to enjoy, free drinks, and flavored toothpaste for grown men. Been jonesing for some of that vanilla mint paste, feel me? At the end of your visit, they give you a sweet little "thanks for coming baggie," totally free. (Life hack: the baggie can be used to hold your sandwhich next day at work, it's legit.) If I could take a date to this place, I would. Dr. Prane and her entire staff are phenomenal! All of Dr. Prane and her staff have been very helpful and educational. Before I started coming to Dr. Prane two years ago, I was very apprehensive about visiting a dentist office. I had many terrible experiences at the dentist office as a kid and Dr. Prane and her very skilled staff have helped me overcome that. Dr. Prane is always very understanding and mindful of my concerns about pain and is very skilled with the pain management that comes with having cavities filled or crowns placed. I have had cavities, crowns, an extraction, and a bridge all done by Dr. Prane. Through all of that, Dr. Prane has brought my mouth back to being the healthiest it's been in many years. I am truly proud to smile again! The Stone Falls business office staff are always happy and cheerful. They truly care for their customers. I'm not writing this review just to be nice--I'm sharing my honest experience after being a patient at Stonefalls Dentistry for 15 years. In fact, after I had been going there for a couple of years, my husband started seeing the same dentist as well because of the excellent care I received. I recently had my four-month cleaning with Susan, and I was truly impressed. After my appointment, I went home, looked in the mirror, and couldn't believe how white and clean my teeth looked. My husband noticed the difference right away, too! Susan did an amazing job removing stains and making my teeth look better than they have in a long time. The next day, I actually called Stonefalls to express my appreciation and thank Susan personally because great service deserves recognition. I have been a patient of Dr. Prane's since August of 2019. After a less than positive experience with another office, I was looking for something better. How lucky for me that I stumbled across Stone Falls Dental. The level of personalized care and service is exemplary! Everyone at the office - and I mean everyone - is fully committed to the patient experience. All of my interactions have been professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and memorable. I recently visited Stone Falls Dental for some crown prep work, and I just have to share how amazing the experience was. Nick greeted me at check-in, and right away it felt personal. He made sure I had what I needed and got me checked in quickly. Later, he followed up after my visit to ask how everything went. Deb, my dental assistant, was wonderful as always -- friendly, easy to talk to, and incredibly skilled. She was gentle yet precise with every step, from placing the mouth cover to flossing. No pain, just great care. Dr. Prain is not only an outstanding dentist but is professional, upbeat, and never judgmental. She always takes the time to explain procedures and results clearly. Finally, Sarah at checkout was her usual cheerful self. She explained everything clearly, helped me schedule around my busy life, and made me feel genuinely valued as a patient. Stone Falls Dental Care really DO "care". I'm always greeted with courteous people and smiles. I especially like that I am able to get friendly call, text, or email reminders (I have the memory of a gnat). Beyond the door of the waiting room, the experience continues to impress. Every person that you interact with, helps with a procedure, or you even see in passing seem motivated, efficient and concerned with your experience there. Dr. Prane is simply put, the cherry on top. She listens with an experienced and well tuned ear to any question or concern and gives sound advice on the best way to proceed. I've never been under or over sold on any part of my overall dental health. Dr Prane and her staff are the greatest. Everyone is so friendly. They make you feel at home when you are there. They have beverages available and even sugar free candy in the waiting room! I have been coming here for a few years and i was so scared of the dentist when i first started coming, just because of bad past experiences. The front desk girls were wonderful in working with my schedule and the whole staff made me feel so comfortable when i was there. Dr Prane helped me get through my fears by explaining everything thoroughly before she did it. They take lots of pictures and show you exactly what is going on rather than just saying "this is how it is". I would never consider going somewhere else. Our dentist recently retired and we did some research and found Dr Prane at Stone Falls Dental Care. We got in very quickly and were very pleased with the level of care that was provided, not only by Dr Prane but all her staff as well. We were impressed by the innovated equipment that was available and used to evaluate our dental health. I had an issue with a bridge that needed some work and can't tell you how comfortable I felt throughout the entire procedure. I had to come back an additional time only because Dr Prane was not happy with the fit of the new bridge. She could very easily just let it go but she wanted to ensure it fit properly. I was a little nervous walking into the office because I have recently switched dentists; however, I felt welcomed as soon as I walked in. My hygienist, Doreen, took great care of me and talked through each step of my cleaning. I was given a goodie bag with materials to take home so that I can improve my oral health, and my mouth felt refreshed and clean before the doctor came in to check the cleaning. I asked a few questions about teeth whitening and was given several options to pursue if I was interested. I felt that the staff was extremely knowledgeable and they were interested in my success and overall health. I would highly recommend looking into this dental office. read more

Most uncomfortable experience from any business I've ever witnessed/been involved in. If you ask them specifically that your insurance covers the procedures they will just tell you yes(then you will get an exorbitant bill). I see from other reviews that this is now a common practice that they do. They are bullies & will threaten you with collections & fees. The front office specifically Jackie is a liar, a con artist, rude, has no customer service skills & will TRY to bully you into treatments through fear, false diagnosis, & blatant lies. I strongly recommend dozens of other more qualified dentists in the area. Get a second opinion if they try to sell you anything. read more

Everyone is worried about what to do in these crazy Coronavirus times. But I felt totally safe at Dr Prane's office! I was greeted as always by Sara and Danielle - I'm sure with big smiles although I couldn't see them due to their masks. LOL! They had hand sanitizer to use and then Deb took my temp. I was led back to my room when no one else was in the hallway. I used an antiseptic rinse in my room. Dr Prane and Lisa were totally covered with PPE. As always, Dr Prane and Lisa took excellent care of me! I felt totally comfortable in their office and had no fears due to their Coronavirus precautions! read more

I came to Dr Prane's office several years ago, after not visiting a dentist in forever. My mouth was in bad shape, and I credit the people in this office with saving my teeth. From the women up front, who make your appts and help you with your billing issues, to the dental hygienists, (mine were Amanda, and now Rebecca), to Dr Prane herself, who got me up to date on all my work, this office rocks! I moved to this area about 13 years ago, I had much difficulty finding a dental office I was comfortable with, so I dental hopped until I landed at Stone Falls Dental Care a little over a year ago. Dr. Prane & her staff go out of their way to ensure you are well informed & comfortable. I saw surprised! I walked into Stone Falls Dental to find a very nicely appointed Living Room! The staff's greeting was warm and friendly with the offer of a beverage and sugar-free candy in a bowl on the coffee table. That sense of hospitality continued with all the staff I encountered. Dr. Prane and her staff of Deb, Stephanie, Danielle, Rebecca, Heather, Sara and Nik are superb. I had several procedures completed over 3 visits and I experienced little discomfort during any of my time in the chair or afterwards. Dr. Prane and the girls at the office are so great! Dr. Prane's dentistry is beautiful she's truly looking out for the best interest of her patients and makes you involved in your appointment. The office is clean, and beautiful with a lot of high tech stuff. She tells you what you need and shows you why since they have a camera that takes pictures, unlike a lot of dentists who just say "here's what you need, here's the bill!"
