STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. I brought my Ztrack mower in for an issue April 22nd for an issue. They told me it would take 2 weeks to fix so I delivered it to the store. I called on the morning of May 1st to check on the progress and they said it was next to be serviced. So I thought they were going to call me right back. I didn't hear anything for a few days and called back and they said they are still working on a machine in the shop. I asked if they only had one mechanic and they told me that one left so right now they only have one but assured me that they would call me soon with an estimate. I didn't hear back so I called on May 4th. This time I pressured them to look at the mower. They called back and gave me an estimate for $269 but not for what I brought it in for but other things they found. When I asked about my issue, they said they couldn't find the problem and they don't have time to run the unit for the diagnosis. I pressured them to find the problem and gave them possible places to look. He came back ten minutes later with an estimate of over $800. I ended up picking the mower up and bring it to a reputable company. I bought over $27000 worth of equipment from this place. Thier service department is terrible. One more thing I didn't mention. I brought this same unit in for service last year and all 4 tires were flat. I just thought this was a fluke thing but now I know this is their normal practice. read more

UPDATE. Brian the Service Manager reached out after I disputed the work via my credit card company. He agreed with their poor service and wrong diagnosis of the problem. He made everything right and did it all in ONE DAY. I would recommend speaking with Brian before having any work done on your tractor. read more

I bought a D.R. Leaf Vacuum after one use it had small holes then I noticed a patch on the back. Showed it to the manager and he told me there was nothing he could do. I bought a lot of products from them including 2 tractors. Will never use them again, horrible read more

The Pinnacle John Deere dealer in the Seacoast area, you are best to select this store for your John Deere service. I purchased a lawn tractor in 2003 with all the extras including the snowblower attachment. The Parts Department is Busy and hard to reach during the day. Service department is very thorough both in the field and in the store. read more

I purchased a john deere d105 from lowes and it had James R Rosencrantzs sticker on it saying that it came from there. A year after i had purchased it, a recall had come out for the transmission. I called up and said i would like to have it taken care of. Back then when i called they were really nice and took care of it. Since then i had nothing but issues. its been losing power and has difficulty keeping its power going while going up a slight incline on my property. Im not doing crazy work with it other than typical yard work which involves laying mulch and fall cleanup with my cyclone rake. So this year i called up because yet again it was having difficulty after sitting all winter long..i called the derry location and they happily came and got it but blamed the issues on the fact that i had the mounting bracket on the back of it for my cyclone rake. it had it on there when it went to have the transmission recall completed and the guy said he loves his JD with his cyclone rake. The guys down in derry never told me about a transportation charge until the day before they were ready to send it back and upon receiving it back i preceded to mow my lawn that day and it still had the issues!......SO the next day my dad called the kensington dealer and they did not want to deal with it other than saying that we needed to pay to have it sent back there to just get it there not even to have it looked at....Now not only does it not work it doesn't even move! AVOID THESE DEALERS AT ALL COST! RUDE, ARROGANT PEOPLE WORK HERE! John Deere Should Drop these people as their dealer! read more

As a local resident I wanted support a local business, so I went to Rosencrantz to purchase a brush cutter attachment for my weedwacker but was unable to get any attention from the sales staff. I stood in the sales area looking at the various attachments for about 10 minutes and not once did anyone offer any assistance despite two sales people sitting at their desk in the sales room. A simple acknowledgment was all that it would have taken for me to wait for assistance. I left and purchased my attachment at another stihl dealer. Won't be back. read more

These folks need to be dropped by John Deere. The fast review is I bought a new tractor. Told it would take a week to ten days for delivery. After two weeks I call, salesman is on vaca, thats cool, but no one followed up. It's not ready but they will get it done today and deliver it. I call at 3;45 and leave a voice mail for Randy to cancel my order. If they treat me like this on a new tractor how will I be treated with a problem!?!? He did call at 4;45 to tell me it was loaded up and ready to deliver. What is wrong with these fools? I guess John Deere has folks waiting in line, that wont last with this type of treatment of customers. John Deere take heed, this dealer needs to be put out to pasture! read more

I'll drive to the factory in Iowa before I go back to Rosencrantz. Every single time I have to deal with them, this has been going on since we purchased our tractor 5 years ago now, there is an issue. From getting the wrong parts, to parts that were suppose to be in stock that I drove 30 mins to pick up only to find they are not in stock. Today I call asking for a quote for a new blower and get quoted $3200 where it's $2100 on the JD web site and then when asked about the discrepancy he said good luck finding it for that....call back only to be talked down to and quoted $2200 and now it's a special order and they don't have it in stock. Started asking questions and he told me to go buy it somewhere else! read more

Having purchased the tractor at Roaencrantz, I was of the assumption that they wouldn't charge an arm and a leg to pick up my tractor if it needed service (12-15 miles away). I was just quoted a $250 pickup fee and 2-3 weeks service time frame... had I known it was going to be like this, I would have purchased elsewhere. Very disappointed! read more

I had Rosencrantz replace the rear tires on my tractor which cost $2200 for 2 tires. Within 5 weeks one went flat from a pinched tube between the bead and the rim. In other words, they installed the new tire incorrectly. When I called last week to have it fixed, they told me to have a tire company come and fix it, presumably at my expense. Then they wanted me to transport the tractor to them for repair. I have no means to do that, nor is the failed tire my error. Then I was told they are very busy and could not pick up the tractor for a week and it will take "some time" before they can fix it. Today was the day they were to pick up the tractor. I waited for them to arrive and no one came. And no one made a courtesy call to let me know they would not be picking up the tractor today. I own and operate a farm. I replaced old cracked tires to be ready for tilling and planting season. I paid a premium to have them installed by a tractor company and assumed I would not have to worry about tires on this tractor for the next 30 years and one tire did not last 2 months. Now I am a week behind in my planting and I have no assurance that it will be fixed in my life time. If I had to do it over, I would never have had Rosencrantz replace these tires. I will never pay them another cent and I will tell everyone I know to never do business with them. read more

Danny's product knowledge and the fact that they had essentially every model available to test ride made this experience better then the other places I shopped. It's rare that I post and voice any dissatisfaction with a merchant, and simply take my business elsewhere. Today's experience with Rozencrantz & Sons warrants both after very poor service at the Kensington store. With such a long back-log of repairs at the dealership and my lawn literally growing longer by the day, it was essential that I quickly resolve a question regarding the fuel pump for my S240 lawn tractor. This included the 30 mile drive to speak with a qualified mechanic and purchase a new fuel pump as last resort. When I inquired at the service desk, I was told the tech was too busy to be 'taken off-line" and basically I was on my own. Out of frustration, I purchased the new fuel pump and walked out. After spending $2000 on this mower 3 years ago, and remaining loyal to regular JD maintenance, I was disgusted with lack of support from this dealership. Shame on the 2 Service Dept employees for lack of initiative or effort to offer any assistance. Thanks for nothing. read more

My experience with this company was not pleasant at all. I bought a house recently with a nice piece of land and I wanted a small tractor for yard work. I went to this dealership hoping to purchase with them but the salesman was less then helpful and acted like I was an aggravation to him because I didn't really know what I wanted or needed. I got a quote and it seemed very pricy so I told them I would be discussing it with my husband and I would get back to them. There was also an issue that made me quite uncomfortable while I was there. There was a man (I assume the owner or manager from what I overheard) yelling at one of his employees very loudly and very derogatory in ear shot of where customers were. All and all I found my visit to be unprofessional and frankly a waste of my time. I was able to get better service and a better price at a different dealership. I was looking forward to owning a John Deere but I bought a different brand and I must say I will be doing all my future business with them from now on. read more

Traded a 2008 JD 2320 compact tractor for a 2018 JD 2025R compact tractor. Was told (By two different Rosencrantz reps) that the snowblower attachment that was on the 2008 model would fit on the 2018 model, we would just need to change a bracket. After dropping off the 2008 (trade) and picking up the 2018, I went to the parts department to order the bracket. I was given a quote of $1,900.00 for the parts necessary to mount the snowblower on the 2018 model. Turns out that nothing but the head would fit on the 2018 model. I would need to purchase all new running gear to use the snowblower. Informed the sales rep and the store manager of my dissatisfaction with the situation. I would have included the snowblower in the trade had I known it would not fit on the new machine. They responded with they are aware that the two Rosencrantz reps stated that the snowblower would fit the 2018 model. They went on to say that those reps were wrong but nothing could be done. I have this statement in an email. As a compromise I presented an alternative. I would give them all the running gear and $1,000.00 (half of the cost) toward the components needed to mount the snowblower to the 2018. They could add the old running gear to the machine I traded which would increase it's value and I could then have a snowblower for the 2018. I basically asked them to meet me halfway. They told me they would knock $200.00 off the cost of the new gear only. They told me to try selling the attachment on Craigslist. This is on top of the many problems with the 2018 model. When I got the 2018 model home the front tire came off. The loader would only lift half way through its total travel. The parking brake did not work. It took them 5 weeks to deliver the machine. Which in itself was not a big deal. What was a big deal is that after the 2nd week I would get told that I could pick it up on the 3rd week. Then it was the 4th week, then the 5th. Very difficult to get a straight answer from them. All of the Rosencrantz representatives I dealt with had very poor product knowledge, communications skills and customer service. read more
