Avoid Trailside Dental Care…read more After treatment at this office, I was left in severe pain and repeatedly asked to be evaluated by a dentist but was unable to speak with one. Instead, I was given guidance by staff while dealing with significant pain. I ultimately had to seek emergency care elsewhere, where the problem was properly resolved. In addition, I was told I needed 6-8 fillings and a crown. When I sought a second opinion, I was told that none of that work was necessary and that only one small area needed to be monitored. The difference between those two evaluations was alarming. Recommending large amounts of unnecessary dental work goes beyond poor judgment -- it's unethical. What makes this even more concerning is that the dentist at this office has been suspended by the Ohio State Dental Board and is currently practicing under probation for documented violations involving patient care. This is public information anyone can verify on the Ohio State Dental Board website. Please research carefully before choosing this office. Patients deserve to know this information when choosing a healthcare provider. This review is based on my personal experience and publicly available disciplinary records from the Ohio State Dental Board.

"Proper standard of care" is not subject to geography or personal preference. I was taken for xrays when I arrived, but reminded them I sent the previous ones. I had to call the former office to have them sent again as the new office could not locate them. New office got the email, but said xrays were poor quality and took new ones. Dr. Singh reviewed them and said he could see no issues. Then the visit ended. I said I made the appointment for a cleaning. The hygienist went to check and the office manager came back to tell me they couldn't do a cleaning today as they overbooked. They offered a later appointment that same day, but I had another medical appointment. Finally, they said Dr Singh could do a cleaning. I said no thanks and left. I will not be back! I also filed a complaint with both the dental and Medicare medical insurance carriers.

I am writing this on behalf of an elderly friend whom I took to Mason Modern Dentistry at the…read morerecommendation of her insurance. She needed all of her teeth pulled and a complete set of dentures. While she and I had no issues with the actual care she received, we had an AWFUL time with trying to get a refund for services she did not need, but were required to be paid up front. They Illegally billed her insurance for the services she did not get, in addition to billing her for "time in the chair", for which she was NOT EVEN IN THEIR OFFICE! I took the legal approach to advocate for her and contacted the Ohio Attorney General's Office, the American Dental Association and a local attorney. After a crash course by some very kind people at each of these entities, I learned that there is no such billing code for "time in the chair" and charges could be brought against them for illegal billing to her insurance company. When I approached the office, I was given a runaround for months, but finally spoke with a district admin who would not give me answers but "allowed" the refund. I made the comment that they were not allowing anything, but owed it to my friend. My strong recommendation is to STAY AWAY FROM THIS BUSINESS!
