If I could leave 0 stars I would. Save your time and money and go seek your medical needs with an actual professional. Strike 1 - During my first visit he offered 4 different sample creams where he said to test and pick the one with best results. Apparently he did not check with my insurance company because most of them were not approved with my insurance plan. Strike 2 - He continued to prescribe antibiotics as a long term solution, rather than really find the root cause. Nothing like offering pills as a long term solution. Strike 3 - The office denied renewing my prescription with the pharmacy. The said they would not renew my prescription unless I make another visit. Each time I visit his office he spends no more than 2 minutes with me and does not diagnose anything. read more

From my very first appointment with Dr. Weintraub, I have received nothing but the BEST care and service from him. I had some concerns regarding a skin irritation and after some valuable guidance and treatment from him, the irritation was gone. Each appointment was always TIMELY and it was always nice to visit him because we'd engage in some wonderful conversations. His KIND and PATIENT demeanour always brought about a sense of calmness when I'd visit with him, and his office is very much reflective of that as well. My wife just left this quack as Vic just mentioned below this post. I've never left a review on yelp before but seeing my wife this upset I felt I needed to because skin cancer is nothing to joke about. My wife's mom and grandma both had skin cancer and she told the dr this in her paperwork and to his face. All he had her do was lift up her shirt over her head and said oh your fine. And he asked if she had an old picture of her back to see if her moles were there before. Not sure how many people have pictures of there backs from years ago. First red flag. Didn't look under her bra strap or her shoulders or anywhere else basically. I hope people read this review and find it helpful if your worried about having skin cancer and stay away from this guy. read more

Dr. Weintraub and his staff were terrific! This was my first visit to his office, so I had no idea what to expect. I had recently moved to the area and wanted a dermatologist that was close to home. My wait to see the doctor was very short. Which I much appreciated. Dr. Weintraub was friendly, professional, and to the point. I am a kasier patient and decided it would be easier to cash pay for some treatment than go through the Kaiser hoops and still pay up to my deductible. Anyways, I went to Dr. Weintraub who was able to schedule me within a couple day notice and take care of the procedure right after. I was treated by Dr. Weintraub before I even got a dermatology referral at Kaiser, which was 8 days later... The whole thing cost me less than I ever expected, especially considering that I was in and out and waisted no time in lines or begging a GP for a referral. He did exactly what he said he would, exactly when he said he would, charged less than I was expecting and took care of me in a very clean and professional setting... I couldn't be happier... Thank you Dr Weintraub for being the best dermatologist I've ever had! I always have the best experiences at his office. Recently I was convinced I had a cancerous mole. He quickly and skillfully laid my worries to rest. Had it been a bad diagnoses, however, I would trust him inherently with my health in the next steps we would take. He is honest and straight forward. I was also convinced I needed some restalyn procedures and he told me flat out I didn't need them. It made my day :) I appreciate the fact he didn't try to give into my worries and order a procedure (or two or three!)anyway. Not only is Dr Weintraub a great doctor, his staff is terrific too. Dr. Weintraub removed a suspicious mole from my shoulder. I was definitely not looking forward to it, but the entire process was fast and completely painless. He also really made me feel at ease and I never once felt rushed. Too many times these days I feel like I'm on an assembly line when I go to a doctor's office. It's definitely not that way here. I felt like both the doctor and the staff saw me not just as a number but rather as a real person. Dr. Weintraub explained the next steps and gave me detailed instructions for post-op care. The staff is also very friendly and efficient, which has definitely not been my experience at many doctor's offices. Doctor Weintraub has been treating my head skin condition since late August/early September. Not only is his office properly and well set up for COVID precautions, but they work with your schedule better than most doctor offices can. When I went to see him originally I was seriously distressed about my skin issue and he was definitely beyond empathetic and super helpful, as well as patient and understanding. His knowledge and experience was evident in how immediately he diagnosed and treated the problem that has since improved so much so that I did not need to make any follow up appointments when I left today. I had a friend dealing with a similar problem whose treatment was different than mine and not working for her and I just wish this doctor was everywhere and able to treat everyone with these skin issues. His knowledge, experience, and amazing staff made this the best medical experience one could have when dealing with any skin problems. Highly recommend this dermatologist. First off I was able to get an appointment within days of my call, secondly the office had outstanding Covid protocol and third I was in and out of my appt very fast! The reason for the 2 stars is a Botox appointment with Dr. Weintraub that left one entire eyebrow higher than the other. No problem. I had the WORST EXPERIENCE at Dr. Weintraub's office today in Simi Valley, CA ay check-in. I must make it clear this was in the receptionist area with the front desk woman. Nothing against Dr. Weintraub himself as he's a great Dr (who my mother and I have both seen in the past) but this front office lady, WOW! So bad, I made the decision after being treated so RUDELY by her of walking out for an already scheduled appointment. Now searching for a new local Dr in the area because of HER. I received a bill for a no show to an appointment I never made. I called the number on the bill to ask why I received the bill, the girl I spoke with was rude, and quick to have me call someone else to handle the situation. I called another number and the lady I spoke with did help me with the bill and came to find out somehow my account number was given to the billing office. Seems shady to me that I was billed for a no show appointment which I did not make. I will not be paying the bill for obvious reasons but it makes me wonder if this office sends out bills to patients in hopes that people will just pay!!! It's very unfortunate that at medical practices they are able to charge what they please regardless of reality. I had an infected cyst and went to see Dr. Weintraub for removal. During my first visit where the doctor created an expectation that he would be willing to remove it once the swelling went down, I was eager to come back. The doctor set up a follow up about one month or so after my initial one. During my second visit which lasted about 7 minutes, and the doctor openly said "I would not do this procedure for you"....well then why am I here if you can't help me? And I got charged MORE for my second visit where legitimately nothing was done to benefit the patient. Very poor practices.
