Keep in mind I just put new tire on my car a year ago and I mainly work from home. I questioned the guy on why he recommended new tires when I literally got them a year ago... he said the tread was bad. I left and went to a tire shop. They said my tires are great and I just needed an alignment done and to tighten lug nuts. Never had a problem since. I went there a second time( fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me), out of desperation. My car AC stopped working and needed someone to take a look. They looked at it and quoted me a couple grand to fix it .... (Which is close to the full value of my car). I went to a different mechanic , and explained my situation. He looked at the car and kept it overnight. Minor leak that was fixed, and I was out of there for $200. "Honest" 1 wanted me to get a new compressor and evaporator and more. Then whe I asked a breakdown of how much labor costs per hour, he said it varies.... I've never herd that before. I also had a loose bolt that connects the sway bar to the suspension I asked them to tighten bc of a noise and they said that wasn't it. I went home and tightened it myself and the noise was gone. I should have trusted my gut and never went back after the first experience but I usually don't judge a place with one visit. This time I wish I had. I would not recommend this place. Please do your research better than I did when picking a place to service your car.

My only gripe and it's such a pet peeve of mine when going to Independent Shops, is the lack of grounds-keeping. Immediately after leaving the shop I hear the dreaded sound of a nail in my tire, and immediately became so frustrated that I was ready to forget the incredible service up until then. The lack of professionalism to leave loose nails around is a killer, and you definitely wouldn't run into that problem when at a BMW dealership. When oversight like this happens, it makes you wonder if other careless mistakes are made when working on the vehicle. I'm not saying that is the case, but you can't help but wonder.

Fix To Go's recent Yelp reviews were very good! So we quickly changed plans with AAA, and called ahead, explaining to Manager Bacardi the situation. He was straightforward with us, agreed with me on my guess (it was the starter), and gave us an accurate quote. Barcadi's team quickly sourced and replaced the starter, and noticed the brakes were in desperate need of pad replacement. The total price was not bad at all! Soon we were confidently back on the road with new starter and brake pads. We are so thankful to the team at Fix To Go Auto Care Center for being honest and skillful mechanics in our time of need.

To cut down on cost we ordered the parts and was willing to pay for labor cost. The prices we got, some was saying "stick em up " others were reasonable. But as time flew by the tone of each mechanic were either silent or up there prices on us. Moving to yesterday I reached out to 5 more mechanics from Google read the reviews and dialed (also text) nothing responses. Something told me let's try yelp especially since I'm an elite helper why not. We came across Mike, within minutes we got a reply and an amazing price. He came same day took out the old Compressor and installed the new one. The work was very professional and very honest person. He is definitely knowledgeable of what he is doing and what is needed. He gained a new customer and we're scheduling our next thing needed for our vehicle. He is what the world is missing an honest mechanic that is for the people not robbing the people. Now I understand things come up and any type of work can take longer than initially thought but I work every day and needed a rough idea of how long they normally take to know if I needed to take off of work, which i explained to the employee and made clear I was not asking for a price or a firm answer. This is my second experience here and it was enough to ruin it.
