​Jana is the best, full of energy, and an amazing eye for the perfect shot. We have known Jana for 13 years. She did our very first family photo shoot with our three fur babies in 2010 at Del Mar Dog Beach in Del Mar, California. She was very accommodating, professional, and an tremendous way making her subjects comfortable, relax, free thay wenforgot we were having a photoshoot. In 2012, while returning from deployment, my wife met me in Hawaii on Oahu. We knew Jana was living in Maui at the time and we wanted her to do our photo shoot. We contacted her and she managed to fit us in on her busy schedule. She flew to Oahu and helped us capture more memories in Haleiwa near the very famous Matsumoto Shaved Ice. Again, her work was beautiful and we loved it. In the summer of 2017, my wife and I attended a relative's renewal ceremony in Oahu. Of course, we wanted to see our friend Jana and at the same time, wanted her to do another photoshoot. Of course, she happily obliged and met us again in Oahu and this time our photoshoot was at Lanikai Beach where you can see an amazing viewnof the The Mokuluas. And again, the photos came out great and we had such a blast. Definitely, our next trip to Hawaii will to Maui and we cant wait to do another photoshoot with Jana. Jana made our wedding day extra special! Her friendly demeanor and professionalism made working with her so seamless, and she truly cares about everyone involved. When she was getting to know us she asked us questions to ensure she could help capture the essence of what our wedding day would be. We also chose Jana because we love her romantic artistic style and looking through her portfolio, you can really see her talent shine through as she truly has an eye for creativity. We wanted both posed as well as candid photos in color and black & white. We even had a shot list of who we wanted photos with and she went above and beyond to cover all our requests. I don't even know where to start with Jana, she made such a huge impact on our wedding day! My husband found her after reviewing a list of approved vendors for our wedding, and on top of loving her work we knew we needed someone that was easy to communicate with (because of the destination wedding) who also was someone we could have fun with rather than feeling stoic and "JC penny-esc". Jana made us, and our guests, feel so comfortable and welcome, that the photos turned out even better than we could have hoped for. This review is long overdue! We hired Jana to capture our special destination wedding on Maui a few years and it was one of the best decisions we made. From the very beginning she was easy to communicate with and always accessible. While the sun was blinding and it was a hot day, she captured my pregnancy, our union, and the landscape of Lanai all together!
