Roaming around shopping I found this store as I have a 20-month old daughter so I feel like the prime audience for this store filled with it's cute little mini-adult outfits at big adult prices. haha. Fashion is on trend and adorable here. Lots of cute boating and vintage-style clothing to be found inside. Seasonal and upcoming holiday themes on display. It's pretty pricey $80 for toddler bathing suits. But cute! They have a website and had a small sale section in back. Friendly staff who were sweet. I could see this as a place for me to get some photo shoot items or holiday-specific outfits for my daughter. read more

My wedding is coming up soon and I came in here to see if I can find some shoes for my flower girl. I did actually see a pair I liked as well as some cute socks and tights. However, there were two sales associates who completely ignored me and it wasn't even busy. There was one guy that was in the store buying stuff, but apparently they didn't seem like they want business. That left a really bad taste in my mouth so I left without asking for anything. read more

This is my favorite store to shop for my girls and this guy that was working today December 11, 2025 at 12:00 noon was so rude and not friendly. It made my shopping experience difficult because I was even a little hesitant to ask a question about sizes because of his mood and I didn't want to bother him even more; his energy made me feel very uncomfortable and unwelcome... someone like him shouldn't be working at a children's store. read more

Placed about over $300 worth of order for my kid's bday and Christmas shoot during Black Friday. Got an email said label created. We were more than patient and understanding, knowing you may have been busy with Black Friday orders, and we waited over a month without complaint. Then I received an email stating that you were canceling my order because it was "messed up." So I emailed them, they said order's lost without asking what I want to do next they refunded me. So I had to order clothes from amazon for my kid for Christmas for fast shipping. Then I emailed them back twice asking what's happened to my order then just ignored all my emails. I followed up and called them, they said they shipped it and it's lost at the shipping company which is not true. Tracking indicates that it's never shipped. And there is nothing they can do. This has never happened with any other companies I shipped online with. Janie and jack had been the go to store to shop, this is beyond disappointing! read more

When I tell you that RUTH gave me the best customer service I have ever had while shopping, I'm not lying! She was so patient and considerate of the fact that my boys Easter outfits didn't come on time from another store and helped me get two of the cutest outfits for them. I've shopped for my children at Janie and Jack for years with great service, but unfortunately, my experience was significantly impacted by an interaction with 2 of their employees. The gentleman was a bit younger and the General Manager was incredibly dismissive and rude. They do not have changing rooms so if you buy something and have your children try it out at home and it doesn't fit, they will turn away returns even if you have the tag and receipt. People shop here expecting impeccable customer service with the prices we pay. The lack of professionalism was uncomfortable and created an unpleasant environment for my experience and unfortunately, this company will not be getting any money from us anymore. During the holidays is even sadder. read more

That is an automatic plus for me. 2) Cutest clothes for toddlers 3) Accessible at the local mall This has been my go-to toddler store when I buy for my close friends daughter. She already has style for a young toddler and love their seasonal and themed clothes here. Their return policy on their website and receipt is not what they actually follow. I was denied a return because the item was in " un resealable condition " when it wasn't even taken out of the bag. I bought as a last minute item for my child's event the morning of but thankfully the original order arrived in time. Came back to return after the holidays chaos/activities/vacation and was told they can't take it back now since it's been too long since I purchased. I never made it a priority to return it bc the receipts states I have until Jan 21 (it's the 6th) to return. Again, I didn't take it out of the bag so I never noticed the "bad condition" it was in. I ONLY buy J&J clothing for my son (he is basically a walking billboard for them) and never return items. I have stuff that doesn't fit yet but I keep it bc I love their clothes. So I'm pretty upset about my first return and if it weren't bc it has Christmas tree on the $64 vest, which makes it unusable after Christmas, I would have kept it. Well I guess now I have to. I hardly write reviews but my experience at this store a few months ago still bothers me. My daughter received a dress from here for Christmas and it did not fit her so I went in hoping to exchange it for a bigger size. At first I couldn't find my gift receipt and as soon as the girl saw I could not find it she stated we can't make returns without receipts. So after searching I was able to find my receipt but then she examined the dress and told me it was not in good conditions and I could not return. The dress was brand new with tags and had a tiny little spot in that back which had probably been there already. She proceeded to say it was unsellable and she had no idea where that dress even came from. She accused me of trying to return an outlet store item. I just can't get over how they can be so rude. read more

came here for the first time the sales lady was very helpful and sweet. When I asked her if my son could try on the clothes, she told me they don't have a dressing room! What kind of clothing store doesn't have a dressing room? So my son had to take off his shirt in the store in front of everyone order to try on the shirts in the store. we need to try on the shorts, but I wasn't gonna have him take off his pants in public. You would never ask that of adults. For a $45 pair of toddler shorts I would expect at least some sort of dressing room. Lots of cute things for girls but pretty plain with only a few cute things for boys. I probably won't come back. especially if my child was older there's no way I would have had them get undressed in front of everyone in the store to try stuff on. read more

This is the second time that I have tried to return something at this store that was originally purchased with cash and each time they tell me that they don't have enough cash to refund me and only offer store credit. I am still within the return window and per policy should get my cash back. Their service and staff are terrible. Shop somewhere else that actually follows their return policy. read more

The customer service at Janie and Jack is excellent. They answer their phones and communicate in a friendly and professional manner. The clothes are beautiful, the staff will help you pick out outfits and get great deals. I had to make a return and exchange, they made it very easy. Even holding things for me multiple times. The clothes themselves are high quality fabric, stitching, and style. The clothes are a little pricey, but the price is reasonable for such good quality. Great experience. read more
