This location needs serious retraining on how to treat families and children. An employee at this store decided it was appropriate to scold my young child for simply touching an item instead of speaking to her politely or to me or my wife. The tone and attitude were completely unnecessary and unprofessional. My child was not being disruptive or disrespectful, just curious, like any kid would be. The way this was handled was embarrassing and upsetting, and frankly unacceptable for a store that markets itself as family-friendly. Old Navy should remember that basic respect and empathy cost nothing. read more

Old Navy is a brand that's been around. I recall wearing it in junior high and high school. As an older adult now, they've progressed to having decent summer wear and some good clothing for semi dress occasions. I found some white shorts and a white polo I needed for a summer themed family party. It was actually not too hefty on the wallet. May have to look around here more often. read more

I was checking out and the clerk said that I looked 12 years old and then she saw my tattoos and she said it in a very malicious way. (I'm 26 full face of makeup and everything) She is a very big girl with black hair. She was wearing a polkadot dress. Probably the only thing she can fit in. Came here during their Black Friday sales around 5pm. It wasn't super crowded, yet. They had their 50% sales, however it was specified what exactly was 50% off. I found a sales associate and asked her, hey how do we know what is part of the 50% sale? She told me that I needed to read the signs. And we were in a section that had the 50% off. So I said, for example, this sign says 50% off, is this section right here 50% off? And she said, I don't think so. So I said, soooo how do I know what's part of the deal and what isn't? She said, oh just scan the tags at any of our price checkers around the store. Crazy that she couldn't tell me that in the first place. Secondly, I have the app and I could use the app as well, but a lot of their items that weren't on sale in the store, were on sale online. I ended up buying only a couple of things that were on sale. The line wasn't too bad, but I got lucky because once I got in line it took 20 mins to get checked out. And behind me there was a line that led all the way to the back and started to wrap around. Make sure to read the fine print and check with the price checker in store. AND/OR check the sales online. I've found most of the sales ONLINE with Old Navy are significantly better. Super frustrating that their dressing room closes more then 30 minutes before they close. Why stay open?

As a continuation of my shopping spree, I ended up here looking for some much needed new pants. when I walked in, I was immediately greeted by the rats. I almost mistook them for the associates. finally, after searching through clouds of gnats, I met a worker. her name was Katrina. she instantly judged what I was wearing, which was rich considering she dressed like a Kohl's mom on a good day. As she moved towards me, dozens of roaches scattered across the floor. I regretted every choice that had ever led me up to this encounter. Even the roaches looked at me with pity as they scurried past. She gazed at me with a hunger, the root of which I never want to know. I immediately walked away from her, but I could feel her eyes on my back. every time I turned around, she quickly ducked behind a rack of clothes that didn't cover her completely. I ordered online for a total of $73.03. The tracking showed the delivery carrier (UPS transferred it to USPS) on my street and then it was inexplicably sent back to Old Navy. No phone call or email to me. I have spent over five hours on hold without ever getting through and have had no response to my numerous emails. I'm out $73.03 and frankly I'm furious at this point. Good selection at this location, with helpful employees. By helpful, I mean there was a lady folding clothes who saw me (and a few other women) browsing Clearance, and let us know there was an additional Clearance section on the other side. I found a shirt there in clearance. Clearance is sometimes a joke, like it was with this shirt: marked down a whopping $2. You get a better deal with a regular sale. But it was the only shirt of its kind left and therefore I paid what they wanted. read more

I am a huge fan of Old Navy. I can always find clothing items for everyone. I always buy for myself, my husband, and my nieces. I have an Old Navy visa that I use all the time so I can rack up the points and get some money back to use in the store. I always keep them until close the expiration and then use a bunch at all and can easily get $20 off a purchase on top of the sales they are always running. The clothing has certainly gotten better as time has gone on. The quality of the clothing is great, especially for the prices. They have trendy items and they fit well too. This location has a ton of parking being in the plaza. Also, since it is in a large plaza you can get all of your shopping done in the area. I have one issue with this location. They have handicap signs everywhere and say they are handicap accessible however there are no buttons to open the door so if you are in a wheelchair and your arms are not strong and you are alone, you have to sit outside of the store and wait for someone else to come and get the door for you. I know this is the case because I saw this happen with my own eyes and that is incredibly awful. Overall, I am happy with this location and with the Old navy brand itself but I hope in the future they will get automatic door openers. read more

My review is based on my Brown Thursday experience. The store upon opening was very well organized. Even after being the 70-something person in the store, the employees were constantly working hard to keep everything together. I was very overwhelmed and one employee in particular was helping me as much as she could. I believe she said her name was Michelle? She helped me sort through to find my sizes and gave me her honest opinion, which is very important when you don't have another girl to shop with. I wish the store was bigger so they could carry more product because they truly do have a great team. Much better than the Fashion Valley and Mission Valley locations. read more

The items you purchase here are more often than not cheap. They are not inexpensive or great deals, just cheap. For men, try on before you buy the inseam is always a little off. I have been in here on numerous occasions during their sales, but when I get to the counter half of what I picked wasnt even on sale. Make sure you read the fine print, they are known to have sales on some items in the area but not all. Or have misplaced items in the wrong area so it looks like a sale when it is not. They do have decent customer service but it's a hit or miss on when it's actually going to be good. read more

I live in the area and was excited to see there was an old navy close by. This store is fairly neat in comparison to most of the ON I used to visit. The service just sucks. No one greets you. You can barely find anyone to ask for help. The cashiers just have personal conversations the whole time. It's just odd. I definitely don't plan on going back ever. I must confess that I had previously never been in an Old Navy store before. I came here to do a little school clothes shopping with my son. This store was not very impressive to be honest. It's sort of like a cross between a K-mart and a Gap, but with the kids clothes built in. The service left a lot to be desired, as in, where the heck was the service?? And there were no discernible fitting rooms. Just these curtained off 'quick change' booths in the middle of the store. Nothing with real privacy. The entire store had no organization to it. It just seemed thrown together. I never found any employees walking around the floor to ask questions. It was an odd experience shopping at Old Navy. Perhaps their idea of customer service is just self-service? Who knows. The clothing selection was much smaller for boys, especially for older boys. It's a girls world in retail clothing. When we got up to the register the waiting began. They only had two registers open, so it took forever. Mostly because the one cashier was busy having a conversation with the woman paying. I got to hear all about her marital struggles. Old Navy is apparently also a counseling center as well. Not sure I'd return here to shop any time soon.. read more

I've been coming here almost weekly since I've moved to the area. Super clean store, professional staff. The newer workers were very apologetic if there was something they didn't know and needed to call their manager, something a lot of people don't tolerate, but is refreshing to me to see someone actually ask for help vice doing the wrong thing and wasting time. Never has a store looked so tore back! I went in for 3 pairs of jeans, 3 different styles and was going by the neatly labeled "skinny", "bootcut", and "curvy" wall o jeans. It took a minute to find what I was looking for because quite a few of the jeans were mixed amongst the categories. I asked one of the employees if they carried short (length) in store and she said yes. So I went back and looked and found none in my size. I asked at the front if they had any in stock and the guy said they had a few, but the system is only updated every 2 days and they had a busy weekend, so he doubted they had any, but one of the other stores had 4 in stock. What makes you think they didn't have a busy weekend and their 4 are indeed in stock? Also, there is probably a fair chance there could be at least 1 pair under the gigantic pile of 100+ pieces of clothing laying on the counter! Frustrating, but nothing to get too upset about. My very large frustration was with the dressing room. There are 2 handicap accessible (read large enough for a wheelchair) dressing rooms. While I don't use a wheelchair, I do have 2 small children and shop with a stroller. They have 1 of the handicap dressing rooms blocked by a rack of go back clothing, limiting their accessibility to customers by 50%. I came to the dressing room and there was a woman in the handicap dressing room, and even though they have a limit of 10 items, her friend kept bringing clothes for her to try on. After waiting patiently, trying to occupy my toddler, one of the employees asks, "Do you still want to wait, or....". I said, "Is my stroller going to fit in a regular sized dressing room?" She just looked at me and said, no. She did politely apologize for the wait, but at that point I was ready to hand her my pile of 7 items and walk out of the store out of frustration and irritation. She went and asked the woman who kept bringing her clothing if she was done and the woman shrugged. So the employee knocked, and no one answered. So either they thought they were just going to keep this dressing room to themselves while they continued to shop, or they're just very inconsiderate. You know if your friend is still in there, so don't just shrug! When I came out they were headed into another (smaller) dressing room. Point being: if it was a busy sale weekend, the stock should be back on the racks before closing. I seriously doubt that the insurmountable mess of clothing in the dressing room and behind the counter was from a Monday morning rush. That rack definitely should not have been needed and limiting accessibility. I'm just saying, that might not be considered ADA compliant. read more

I am not one for unnecessarily glowing reviews. I don't waste time like that. BEST. CUSTOMER. SERVICE. EVER. I bought some pants online from old navy. There are some insane deals online and sometimes you can double up with a coupon code and score great items for next to nothing. So these pants are amazing. They're adorable. Perfect fit, perfect color, perfect length...but they're way too big. I'm sad. Heartbroken. I call up my local Santee old navy and ask if they have them so I can exchange them. No. Oh no. Well, the friendly and knowledgable guy on the phone said he would call another store for me & they could ship them to my house. Yay! I told him I'd call back later. I call. Sadly, the other store did not have them. And the (same) friendly guy says he even tried other stores & stores in LA. However, he suggests I call 1-800-oldnavy and maybe they can help. He asks if there's anything else he can do, and wished me a great night & good luck. The rest has nothing to do with this store so I'll skip it, but the ending of the story is I'm getting the pants! Whoa there horsey! I came in on black Friday and let me tell you after looking around for about 15 minutes I noticed the line. It went from the cashier all the way around the store to the back. I just came from the store in Santee, CA. When I go shopping in a store, I don't expect the cashiers with tacky political sayings taped to her mask. I want to just shop. I asked for the Store Manager and I got Tyler. He explained that store policy says they are allowed to express their political views. Well, I don't have a problem with showing their political views but there is a time and place for everything. At their place of work is not a proper place for expressing personal political views. I do like this location. Due to it being close to my house and that it is huge! I went here last Saturday. I found parking very fast which I thought would be worse. This is a huge Old Navy. It does seem like they have a lot of clothing, just not the ones I'm always looking for. Case in point,,,, I was looking for a thin (no words on it) jacket for my 15 year old and could only find thick one with some kind of sheep filling or thin ones with the Old Navy logo. The sales people are so attentive. I told one of them what I was looking for and she did try to find something. Just lucked out on the jacket. The next item I wanted and found as soon as I walked into the store is this cool shirt that either has a guitar or drums on it for little boys. You plug the shirt into this battery pack and they can actually play the drums or guitar on the shirt! Batteries not included ( I did try it out as soon as I got home and it was so cute) Think about it...your young child walking around hitting themselves,,,,,lol I agree with some other Yelper's on the issue of not enough women selections. They had this huge section for women workout clothes ,,,,,lol I had another sales lady help me with the little girls sections. She even was helpful looking for some cartoon tees for my little one. overall it was a good experience. I do know that I would have spent more if the woman's area was bigger. I come here because the clothes are cute but I rarely come anymore because I dread having to go to the cashiers and pay for my stuff since they're so rude every time I go here. For a retail store this place doesn't offer good costumer service and when I ask for help they make it seem like it's such an inconvenience to them to do they're job, which in part is costumer service. I get attitude from employees and the store is always a mess. Definitely has become my least favorite from its other sister stores. read more

I like Old Navy, but this location was a big disappointment. I kept wondering when I was going to find all the women's clothes... surely I was just on the wrong side of the store. Nope. Their women's section pretty much consists of a wall of jeans and a bunch of work-out clothes, with a couple of tops peppered in. I was looking for business-type attire... and found nothing. I went in yesterday to get my pre schooler some solid color T shirts she starts school in two weeks and needed a solid Turquoise, yellow and white t shirts to complete her out- fit a for the first week of school.
