Jannus live is a great place to see a concert. There are a few drawbacks no seating unless you get VIP limited food pizza ,drinks maybe a couple other options. Make sure you have plenty of rest before you go because you will be standing up close and personal with the bands.

Came for the NSP/TWRP concert on 5/28/2025. This is an outdoor concert area and is pretty nice. Not too crowded and entry was easy. There is security upon entry that does pat downs, so we felt pretty safe. Alcohol and water were available for purchase, and cost as much as any other concert venue. There is a pizza shop that sells slices (cash only) for $5 /slice and an ATM is inside the venue. Only downside I had was you cannot bring outside water, which I understand why, but still not fun paying for multiple waters. Overall, if you don't mind the heat and some bugs, it was a nice area!

I've always loved Jannus. I'm into mostly indie music so most of the bands I like play here. It's especially nice with the sea breeze because it's so close to the water. It's nice to walk to the pier before or after a show. There are tons of clubs and restaurants in the area. Jannus shows always sound amazing and have a great vibe! I know they have pizza and drinks but I usually just go for the show. It's one of my favorite venues, for sure!

Always a great place to see a concert. It's an outdoor venue but the sound is excellent. Air conditioned restrooms as well as selling drinks and food are key advantages over other concert venues. The most challenging thing is when there's bad weather. Even if you are standing in the very back you can see the whole stage.

I came here for the G Eazy concert and overall it was easy to get in! I thought the standing room was spacious and various ways to see the stage! It's an outdoor venue so be ready for any weather!

Blood on stucco after guy face planted into it

Went to see They Might Be Giants and saw a man who had been over-served face plant into the building on his way into the bathroom while waiting for my BF to come out. Security ran over but had no clue what to do and guy was profusely bleeding from his head. As I was outside the men's room and couldn't go in I could only yell for someone to get pressure on the wound and sit him down. Security sat there clueless what to do - basic when anyone is bleeding to put pressure on wound to stop bleeding and sit person down so they don't fall again. Finally a guy took his shirt off and gave it to guy to put on his head. I don't know if there were no paper towels in bathroom or what but men just walked around the bleeding guy wo care. Train your staff better Jannus! No reason a security person shouldn't know basic shit like that.

Jannus live is one of my favorite concert venues! It's in a great location in Saint Pete. It is intimate enough than no matter where you stand, you will have a good view of the performer. I saw still woozy on August 21. It was a great performance. One thing to keep in mind is that cocktails at the venue are expensive.

This is such a great venue! If you have a chance to see one of your favorite artist definitely make the purchase! Food and drinks are pretty inexpensive and no matter where you are you are close to the stage! Even had the opportunity to have chase rice sign a hat!

The bartender negligently served us drinks loaded with vodka. Because of his carelessness, I tasted alcohol for the first time in over 36 years of hard-earned sobriety. The bartender apologized and promised the drinks were "on the house."Instead, they charged us $66.04. When we called management to fix it, we were only given a partial refund of $27.82, leaving an unauthorized $38.22 charge.Worse than the theft is the staggering cruelty of management. When Mike called to resolve this in January, the manager/owner on the phone literally laughed at us regarding the situation, alongside a room of his friends who joined in the mockery. To treat a severe, dangerous threat to a person's life and recovery as a joke is deeply unhinged. If you are sober, in recovery, or have a medical condition, stay far away from this venue. They do not care about your safety, and they will mock you for it.

Date of Visit: 11/08/2025 5:30pm…read more After some shopping at the mall the wife and I were wanting to grab a beer somewhere. As we were heading out the parking I mentioned CJ's across the street. We have never been there before but friends of ours do play there once in while. So that's where we headed. As others have stated there is plenty of parking, in the main lot and in back. We parked in the main lot. Walked inside an immediately notice this was a place for music. No bands were playing since it was early. Found a spot at the bar, may have been ten others sitting at the bar. There was only one bar tender working the bar and she was working it. She came and saw us right after sitting and got our drink orders. Not sure if we wanted to eat but we still looked over the menu. We decided to get some food. I noticed they do a smashburger and I am always up for a that. The wife has been watching what she eats and decided on the chicken strips. The food didn't take long to arrive and both looked very good. My burger was done right, double cheesesmash with LTO just the way I like it. I got fries with it as well and I must say these were some mighty good fries. My wife really liked her chicken strips too. They were not battered and not overly fried, still very moist on the inside. She has been trying to stay away from overly fried foods and these were not overly done. I believe she ate them all as well. Since it was early there were no seating issues like I have read from others. And if your a car person they do a last Sunday of the month breakfast buffet and car show in the morning. Looking forward to that. All I can say is give this place a try. May have to go in the evening and listen to some live music. Peace.

The place was smoky (stage smoke, not cancer smoke) and colder which made it a nice retreat from the hot weather outside. The sound was amazing (this is actually what got us in the door...the band was fantastic). It was also No Cover to get in. There was only one thing that I didn't like about Club Detroit; no beer on tap and very limited beer in bottles (i.e. nothing bottled we would drink). We settled for a jack and coke and a sailor jerry's with ginger ale for drinks and they were $7 each and TINY. Our bartender (who looked like a not-quite-as-attractive Thor) did make them SUPER strong though. ***TIP: Check out their Facebook page. This Saturday, some friends went here, and this was our first stop of the night. We were ready to get our first drinks in us, but we had to leave instantly because the bathroom attendant was so aggressive towards me. I walk in first, of my three other friends, and tell them to grab me a beer while I run into the restroom, and I had a man scream in my face so loudly it was jarring and scared me so bad. I told him my friends are right there, calm down, while pointing to them, and he then proceeded to hold open the bathroom door I walked into while aggressively telling me how he didn't overreact and believed I was coming in to just use the bathroom without buying a drink. (which I was not, but even if I was, I deserve to get screamed at??) Complete power trip, and I would bet money this man would not have acted this way towards a guy, but since I am a woman in my early 20s, he got off on intimidating me. Totally inappropriate, he has anger issues, and I opened the door and grabbed my friends, and we left, and they were horrified that it happened. We were all sober, so it genuinely ruined my night, and I just went home because I was so upset.

First off they turned their parking lot into the concert area. This left no parking for the event. We asked if there was a VIP parking area, there was not. We asked if they had a lot that they were using for parking for the event, they did not. Their response was "you have to drive around until you find a spot to park since we used our lot for the concert" ok well, St Pete already sucks for parking so that made it virtually impossible to find parking. We drove around an hour just to finally park about a mile away and walk to the concert. Then the VIP area in the front of the stage was not exclusive to just those with VIP tickets. They let anyone walk up there. The VIP bar was cash only and the supposed VIP balcony with air conditioned bar & bathrooms was exclusively for those that were with the bands! This is a clear false advertisement! The food was nasty & drinks were way overpriced. The drinks actually weren't that bad but they weren't worth $12 each! Fergs should stick to being a sports bar. This whole trying to add all this extra stuff is going to land them exactly where their Tampa store ended up.... closed for good!
