I've own a collision repair shop for over 30years...When I called in the morning to get the charges on this particular vehicle, I was told that the registered owner needed to obtain an LA County Sheriff release..I promptly called the company owner of the vehicle and she said she went and obtained the release last Thursday and drive up to the impound yard and personally handed it to Henry, the yard manager...She called the tow office and straightened everything out as they said it was a Clerical error on their part...O called the tow office back and asked if I could pay the $717.00 due with my credit card but was told it had to be paid for n person or cash..I proceed to call the flatbed tow service I use and he picked me up at my shop and we priced to the Glendora location and the office door is locked and a sign say to call this phone number..So I call and the dispatcher tells me Henry is at lunch and won't be back for at least 30 minutes..I tell her I have my tow service waiting so she says she's going to send another person within 15 minutes...A maroon Lexus rolls in and a blonde lady opens up the office and asks me which vehicle I'm there for..So I introduce myself and give her the year, make, model and last 4 digits of the VIN#...She's thumbing through stacks of paperwork but can't find the vehicle..I inform her there was a mixup in the morning and that the release was located and I was told the charges were $717.00 before 5:00pm...She finally finds the tow order and the release isn't attached so she calls the main tow office and inquired about no release being attached and proceeds to raise her voice to saying " You need the police release"! I told her the vehicle owner personally delivered it to Henry last week at this location and that the main office cleared everything up this morning but She then asked me to step outside the office while she was calling the main dispatch again! She the came outside screaming that I should learn English and that the person who called them this morning didn't provide them whit a release...I proceed to leave with my tow service back to my body shop! I called their main office and asked for Jan, the owner to tell him how he's being represented at his business by a disgruntled employee who in my opinion should NEVER speak with customers as she has NO social skills or manners...Sadly..This type of behavior is common at tow impound centers as my tow service driver told me repeatedly he has faced this behavior from employees! read more

I called AAA on Thursday night. They sent a tow truck to give a jump start, driver told me to let it run from for 30min. But it did not work. Friday morning I had to call again, this time I requested a battery service. I was told by AAA that they only had one battery tech available, and it was going to take about an hour to help me. It took about 10min when a battery tech from Jans towing called. He was very polite and told me he was on his way and will be at my house in 10min. He actually got there in about 5min. When this gentleman showed up. I was impressed by all the precautions he was taking. He was wearing a mask and gloves, and kept his distance. He introduced himself as Merino. He tested my battery. He showed me a test result, and explained to me that I needed a new battery. He also told me, my alternator was good, and starter was good. But he strongly recommended a new battery. I'm very thankful for his advice. He told me they don't install batteries in my vehicle. I have a 2018 BMW X1. He was very honest. I love all information he gave me about my vehicle. Frank Quezada, I am Grateful for You. It had been a hectic afternoon in regards to cars for some reason. My daughter dropped me off to pick up the last care that needed attention. All it needed was a tire repair. What could go wrong? My daughter left to come home. Low and behold when I got in the car and put it into drive it wouldn't move. Great. The rear left wheel was locked up. Called AAA and my mechanic.. AAA called Jan's Towing and my mechanic was going to wait for us. Mr. Arias with Jan's towing just towed my car for me. Me and twenty other cars hit a 400 lb piece of metal on the freeway at 4 in the morning. In less than a minute after talking with AAA on my cell, Mr. Arias finds me out of the crowd. He had just finished changing someone else's tire. At the moment I was talking with a CHP officer. So I hand over my keys to mister Arias and by the time I get my report information card from the officer, Mr. Arias has the car loaded and secure. Is CHP officer even noted that mister Georgia Arias has the cleanest tow truck between here, and LA. After dropping off my car at the shop, Jorge dropes me off at Denny's so I have a place to hang out for three hours until the shop opens. Mr. Arias was courteous and professional. He had a great sense of humor. He's a "unicorn" in the tow truck business. He is in the top one percent of his trade. My best friend was stranded on Freeway. Nervous and scared she called triple A and was routed to Jaimie at Jan's towing. Oh my! How can they have people like her working for a company that deals with bad to critical situations. I pray to sweet Jesus that those calls were recorded. I and a friend were on a pleasure drive up Glendora Cyn. Rd. We stopped to take in the view and when returning to the car, the battery was dead. I have Triple A, so when I called they sent Adolfo Jimenez to our rescue. He was wonderful. First he arrived a little sooner than expected and then after assessing our problem, went right to work to correct it. He is very professional, courteous, and knowledgable. I would like thank Frank Q. For providing such great customer service and helping my mom and I when we were stranded yesterday. I really appreciate that he was prompt to respond and was there to help within minutes. It's funny because he had previously helped my mom and still remembered her right away. I was happy to hear it was Jan's because although I have not used them before, I have seen the tow service around town, surrounding neighborhoods and on the local freeways and it just felt good. I had a terrible experience with this towing company. AAA assigned them to my service call, and the dispatcher I spoke with was extremely rude and disrespectful. They accepted the call but never actually showed up. I ended up waiting for over four hours with no update or help. I finally had to call AAA back to let them know the company just held onto the call without providing any service. This was frustrating, unprofessional, and a complete waste of my time. I had the BEST service from Jan's Towing. I called AAA and they sent over Jan's and in less than 5 mins., I get a call from Jan's that they were on the way. Jorge was the guy to come out a help me. Driving home at 8:45pm on a Sunday - coyote ran across the road. When I swerved to avoid hitting it - I hit a a tree inlet in the road. My car wouldn't start, so I called AAA for what I thought was a jumpstart. Guillermo was there much faster than I expected. It turns out that my battery was fine and it appears that my starter might be going out. The assistance call could have ended there, but instead Guillermo offered to clean the corrosion off of my battery terminals. I sincerely appreciated the extra attention to detail.
