Truly baffled by the good reviews this place as. Had a delivery order and there wasn't a single item of any quality. The Shrimp rice bowl didn't match the online images, and even if it had, the fried shrimp was soggy, cold, and stale. The fried rice was abysmally mediocre, and genuinely had a flavor that inched towards dog food over fried rice. The portions were wildly inconsistent, as it turns out that the steak rice bowl has about a 3rd the portion of rice as the shrimp rice bowl, despite being at a higher cost. My wife ordered the steak rice bowl, and she couldn't down more than a single bite before tossing the whole thing in the bin. And the onion soup tasted like water with crushed up french onion lays potato chips. The food might be better in store, but it's hard to believe that the improvement could be notable enough to bump it above two stars. read more

Called the restaurant, she was apologetic, said I could come pick it up. The amount of salad given on the extra was definitely not worth it. Lesson learned. The main meal was very good, huge portions. My husband I shared 1 and had another whole one for another night. I myself would have preferred more vegetables, the container has a lot of rice. There are not many (any?) good Asian restaurants around the golden triangle. I had noticed this place in the Winn Dixie shopping center but hadn't given it much thought. It's much bigger inside than I expected and so clean and fresh. It's basically like a hibachi restaurant but the grill is in the kitchen so you don't have to give attention to the chef but can enjoy the same scrumptious food. The servers seem to work all the tables as well had 3 different people attend to us. I ordered the daily special which was chicken & steak meal for $17.99. The miso soup was flavorless. The salad was good. The meal came with rice, noodles and veggies and it was enough for 2, maybe 3 meals. Soooo good. They make their own yum yum sauce and it was delicious. Lots of sushi options as well. So happy we found this gem. They were doing a steady take-out service so that's a good option as well. They have Coke Zero. read more

Wonderful food, excellent service, and overall calm and clean atmosphere! It's a place that feels like a second home! And though I don't talk with the people running the place it doesn't take a genius to know they're wonderful people by the way they treat their guests! Did I mention wonderful food? Because I would come eat lunch and dinner every day if I could from how absolutely AMAZING the flavor of each of their products is! And reheating the leftovers you take home doesn't take away the original taste at all! I have been there three times. Each time I ordered my, what was supposed to be filet mignon, medium rare. All three times it was well done, had a lot of fat and was extremely chewy. I'd love to give this place a better review but honestly the consistency had been severely lacking. I've ordered takeout from here three times and the food has always tasted good, but the prices have been significantly different every time and they always seem to screw up the order. The first time they completely forgot the shrimp and the second time our protein portions were half the amount we received on the same orders the first time. This wasn't the difference between lunch or dinner either. I wish I could give a better review because the food has been good, but nothing is worse than getting home to find that they screwed up your togo order. Especially when your dropping $60 each time. I cannot day enough good things about this restaurant. Every single staff member we encountered was beyond amazing. The prices are pretty good. Although, the food is the most important thing, and it is so delicious! I ordered the sushi dinner that comes with soup, salad, and two rolls for $10.95 I think? Such a steal. I got the crunchy veggie roll and the sweet potato tempura roll. So freaking good. I love that the sweet potato roll is served warm. Everything is just so good. The lunch combos are a good value, but I feel the cuisine is average. The protien portion was fair for "lunch" and tasted okay. The rice was dry though and both noodles and rice were bland. Pretty good, unassuming hibachi and sushi restaurant. Location was small and cozy in a strip mall. I had the chicken and scallops combo hibachi. Very, very good. Umami flavor off the bat. A little too salty for my personal taste, but with it being Asian cuisine, I'm not gonna complain about that. My sister and I were craving sushi so we went here and ordered the combo roll that came with 2 rolls and soup and salad. The rolls were great. The soup was too bland and didn't taste like miso so Idk what kind of soup it was. The salad was good too. We placed ONE order since it came with 2 rolls and the portions seemed big. However, the server came with 2 soup and salad and we thought something was off bc we shouldn't be getting 2 soup and salad since we placed ONE order so we told her to confirm and make sure she was bringing ONE order. It's no biggie since it's a simple miscommunication and the manager came with our ONE order of the combo roll. They didn't even take away the extra soup and salad. Now at the end we get the bill and they charged us for the EXTRA soup and salad that the SERVER due to miscommunication gave us. we go tell them and say "I'm not paying extra for an order I did NOT place. Did we say give us the combo roll AND extra soup and salad on the side? No. We even confirmed with the waiter after she came with the extra soup and salad yet why are you charging us extra for an order we didn't place?" Finally, the manager guy tells us "OK just this one time I'll take out the charge". Bc of this arrogant statement right here I'm giving it 2 star due to poor service. plus we were the ONLY ones dining in around 7 pm and they were saying in the background how they're waiting for us to finish so they can go home. At 7pm! When they supposedly close at 9:30pm. I could understand if they say it half an hour before closing but not at 7. This is a great place to get miso soup and hibachi plates. My husband was craving hibachi and I was absolutely desperate for Miso Soup. You get a great amount of food for a great price and the food is absolutely delicious. In addition, my husband picked up our food and is very impressed with how they insure their employees and food stay safe by blocking off the majority of the restaurant with only a window to pay and pick up. They also only allow 1 person in at a time to come in and complete their business. Very happy with this local establishment. read more

Probably my favorite Hibachi place in and around Lake County. It's quick, tasty, and affordable. This is not a grill-side experience like some hibachi restaurants - no flaming onion volcanoes or spinning eggs here. Your order is taken and your food comes out on its own plate. There are several lunch specials for those who come during this time, these come with a simple soup and small salad with ginger dressing. It gets pretty busy around lunch time but the food still comes out quickly, and is a great place to grab a meal when you're in a hurry. There is also sushi for those who want something different besides hibachi. Not exactly world-class sushi but for the price you can't expect that. There is a decent amount of rolls can be chosen for the combination, but the sushi combination is slightly more expensive than the hibachi combo. Since coming here, I found myself getting the hibachi lunch specials more which seem to be the better value in my opinion (I might just be a big eater). The dinner pricing is slightly more compared to lunch prices. The quantity and quality of the food is really about the same - come for lunch and save a few dollars. Their online order service wasn't getting updated though, they confirmed my order but never marked it in progress or ready so I was going on a bet hoping my food was ready when I got there so I wish they would update that to make it easier for other people.
