    I wanted to give this dealer a high review but unfortunately poor bed side manners and the owners words "I don't care if you give me a bad review" lead to me to give an honest negative review. Car was sold at a good price and almost everything was in great condition. Some minor cosmetic damage and frost damage on one mirror. The real problem was third day of getting the car the engine didn't start and turns out there was a taped up cable connecting to the battery my mechanic and I missed. I brought it back to the dealer and owner was gone and his mechanic didn't even want to spend 5 minutes to check my starter or alternator. I called the next day to let the owner know I got a discount and was only 150 dollar fix but he wouldn't budge to even partially compensate or apologize and just said you have a limited warranty. Attached is the cable they left on the battery all taped and rusted. Also showing new part installed with no tape. EDIT: Now having the car longer I have the same issue as Stephanie. Transmission issue which seems illegally the dealer tried to cover up by reseting the check engine light. Warranty barely covered it all.

    I purchased a 2016 Crosstrek Premium and it was probably the most pleasant car buying experience I have had since buying my first car 30 years ago. The owner Jay was terrific to deal with, straight forward, fair, and no pressure. I had sorted through over 400 cars online and narrowed it down to a couple Subaru models. I liked 4 Crosstreks and Outbacks on the Japanese Car Connection website. It's an hour drive from Colorado Springs to Denver so I called on Saturday morning and Jay confirmed all 4 were available. Jay greeted us when we arrived and took us to see the 4 cars. I asked to test drive 2 Crosstreks and they quickly pulled them out front. While out driving I noticed a noise coming from the right front wheel area when making a sharp U-turn. I told Jay when I returned and one of the staff immediately took it to the garage for inspection and found the issue. I told Jay this was the car I was most interested in buying if he could take care of that. We agreed on a price and he sent someone out for parts at 3pm on a Saturday. While we completed the paperwork his staff returned and replaced the parts on the axel. I took another drive to verify the issue had been resolved and he provided the repair details for my records. It delayed me maybe 15 minutes at most. I appreciated that my time was valued. Oftentimes buying a car is an all-day process and I appreciated the efficiency and urgency. I should mention that I love buying used cars. I love negotiating and the process of wrestling for a good deal. We did none of that. The whole deal was positive, enjoyable, and fair. I felt a peace that it was not necessary to do battle with Jay. All of the cars on the lot are in good shape, clean, and well maintained. Japanese Car Connection offers a dealer warranty at a good value, but in addition they inspect, service the cars and make repairs before they go up for sale. Jay had all his repair and service receipts plus the full Carfax report. I believe it matters to him to sell quality cars and have a reputation for happy customers. I am now one of those happy customers. I highly recommend Japanese Car Connection, Jay and his staff. I would refer a friend or family member without any reservation. When I am ready to purchase another car my first stop will be JCC's website and hope I can find what I am looking for there. To Jay and the staff, thank you for making my purchase a pleasant experience. You treated me with honesty, fairness, kindness, and integrity. It was truly nice doing business with you.

    Very good people top not surface. Would recommend anybody interested in a Subaru Toyota or Honda go see them first they'll take care of it.

The problems included a leaking radiator, severely worn brake pads and rotors, a bent rear axle differential, leaking wheel bearings and seals, a rusted frame that was never disclosed, disconnected emergency brake lines, an oil cooler housing failure, transmission-related service, and additional engine performance repairs. These were not minor maintenance items--they were major defects that significantly impacted the vehicle's safety, reliability, and value. What is most concerning is that many of these issues appear to have existed before the sale and either were not disclosed or were not properly identified during any inspection process. As a customer, I relied on the dealership's representations that the vehicle was safe and roadworthy. Instead, I was left with thousands of dollars in unexpected repair bills almost immediately after taking ownership. I have maintained documentation for all repairs, diagnostics, and related expenses. I attempted to address this matter professionally and give the dealership an opportunity to resolve the situation in good faith. Unfortunately, the experience has left me extremely disappointed and questioning the standards by which vehicles are inspected and sold. I would strongly encourage anyone considering purchasing a vehicle from this dealership to have an independent mechanic perform a thorough inspection before signing any paperwork. My experience has been financially burdensome, frustrating, and completely inconsistent with what I expected from a reputable dealership.

And you would think for a dealership with a service dept on site they would diagnose and correct all of the problems before they sell the vehicles, but they don't. They either patch them up and hope you don't notice for two months or I have the worst luck in the world. The vehicle I bought myself ended up being in the shop for at least a month after I discovered it's issue. Thank God I found it a week before my warranty was up or I would have been on the hook for the $5,000 it cost to fix the problem. But it didn't come without a fight. It took the dealership two attempts to fix the vehicle. The first time they fixed the wrong thing, and when I told them I was still having the same issue they told me they weren't going to fix it. We eventually got on the same page and they took my vehicle for another two weeks and finally repaired it. For that I'm grateful. But now the vehicle I bought my grandmother had the check engine light come on. Mechanic comes out to give it a tune up and finds the spark plugs are covered in oil. Boom! It needs a new valve seals. My mechanic says "it looks like it's been this way for quite some time". I bought the car less than a year ago. Unfortunately the warranty has expired on this vehicle. So I'm on the hook for this one. I'm not saying don't buy a vehicle from this dealership. But I am telling you to take your car to a mechanic as soon as you drive it off of the lot to find any issues before your warranty expires. Because from my experience it doesn't seem to me like their service department has their customers best interests at heart.
