After all that I believe your chance of their selling the car and receiving net proceeds greater than trade-in is slim. I do not believe that they actually performed any maintenance before I bought the car, contrary to what I was told. I had a very moderate experience with Mile High Car Helper. They definitely have some nice clean cars but also have some service issues. 1st. My biggest issue was the fact that Eric threw a fit when I asked him to make copies of all our signed documents and was actually raising his voice arguing with my girlfriend. 2nd. I had a trade in that was valued at $28,000 (TRADE IN VALUE) and they shot me an extremely low offer of $24,000. 3rd. There's absolutely no negotiating. I found a few things wrong with the car and he straight up told me he wouldn't budge because he was only making a $400 profit. To summarize. I've bought a few cars in my lifetime and have had some amazing experiences. This was not one of them. Two of my friends referred me to Mile High Car Helper, because they had had great experiences in the past, but one of them had not so great of an experience more recently--some similarities to my issues. I hired them to sell my subaru, and we agreed to some minor repairs they would make to the car initially, to make it more marketable. They said it would take about a week, but it ended up taking 3 weeks. And, I was reaching out to them about once a week to check on the status, because they weren't contacting me, and they kept saying it would be posted tomorrow or in 2 days, etc., and then it wouldn't be. Finally, I spoke with someone else who got the car posted after 3 weeks. Then, a few weeks later, I asked to talk about whether we should lower the price if the car isn't selling, and we made an agreement to talk about this in a week. I didn't hear anything on the day we agreed. The next day, I look online to find that they dropped the price without talking to me, and I called to speak with someone and express my concerns. Then, a few weeks after that, I check in again about the price, etc., and I look online to find out they had dropped the price again without talking to me! And, they had dropped it to an amount that was lower than what I had agreed to in the initial contract. It had been 3 months, so I decide to get my car back. Then they tell me they did all of these things to my car without asking me and asked me to pay for them. I explained the issue, and they were willing to negotiate down to what I thought was reasonable. But then! I have the car, and, they had replaced the stereo with a factory stereo, which I had agreed to pay for. And, the stereo isn't working--the buttons are sticking, and the volume isn't responding. I call them to talk about this, and they haven't returned my call. This was an expensive nightmare, and now, I'm worse off with selling my car than I was when I started. read more

Was very excited to work with these guys. Ended up getting screwed in the end. I called in regards to a vehicle I have been looking for for months. The owner told me that they had somebody who had showed interest already and that he was waiting to hear back from them Then he had called back saying that he wanted to initiate the sale with me. I planned on financing through them so he (Rich) let me know that the first order of business would be submitting a financing application to see if i was eligible. So i submitted my application and within 5 min he called me back and said that my credit was excellent, but that he cant work with me because the other party had called back saying they wanted to buy it. So basically he initiated a sale with me, pulled my credit report (which hurt my score) and then backed out of the deal bc of another verbal confirmation from a cash buyer. Although admitting that he would make more off my sale he still declined to work with me even though he wrongfully pulled my credit score without then giving me the opportunity to close the sale. In the end, I would be skeptical of doing business with this dealer. Although Rich thought he was doing the right thing, in reality he was in the wrong for pulling my credit report and then choosing to go with another party who had nothing to lose (financially, unlike myself). Very very upset with the way that this individual decided to represent their dealership. read more

I bought a car from Mile High about a month ago. It was advertised at "100% Inspected" and "ready for anything Colorado can throw at it!" They made sure to list out the "work" they did on the car. The initial customer experience was great, very friendly and welcoming and they worked to get me a low rate. On my drive home, I noticed it needed an alignment - one of the items they said they just worked on. I brought it in a day later and was told there were not only different brand tires, but a different SIZE on the back. I called back and asked about it and was told "No one had ever noticed that before". He tried to reassure me that the different size wouldn't matter on the truck unless it was in 4WD full time. My independent research has found otherwise and to this day, Mile High is the ONLY person to tell me that's not a big deal. I knew that was the beginning of my issues. Mile High was kind enough to reimburse me for the alignment, and fix the $2000 repair bill I was stuck with (3 days after purchasing the car) at no cost to me. It took Mile High about 2 weeks to repair the truck.They never once reached out for an update even after I left the truck back in their lot. I had to call several times before I got any reply. I felt like I was chasing down not only the truck I had just paid for but answers as to what was going on. The salesman I worked with went out of town in the middle of the fiasco and I wasn't notified until I wasn't receiving a reply and called the shop. I left 2 messages before someone else called me back. When I finally got the truck back, all was well.....for about 2 weeks. Within 800 miles the check engine light came on, and ALL THREE traction control lights. The truck also died on my husband and has been idling terribly and is acting like it wants to die on my whenever I come to a complete stop. We ran the codes and found several sensors were malfunctioning, the truck misfires on 2 cylinders, and the exhaust is not functioning at full capacity. The truck is idling and running terribly, and isn't shifting correctly. We purchased the warranty after the $2K repair bill hoping we wouldn't have to use it, but clearly we do. My husband found most of the fluids in the car to be so black they were almost opaque. It's clear the truck was never inspected by anyone at the dealership before it was placed for sale. At this point I've had the truck a little over a month. With as much money as I spent I expected to not have to deal with repairs for a hell of a lot longer than THREE DAYS (and issues ever since). I would encourage anyone considering purchasing a vehicle from Mile High to instead go to a junk yard and save yourself the headache and money. At least then you'd expect some repairs and know what you're getting into. Update 2/10/17: No contact was made other than this yelp reply. No email, no phone call, which would have been appreiciated and a much better way to contact me. I offered to return the truck and purchase another vehicle from you but was told that was not an option. Given how long it took to repair the first issue, I was unable to travel over 100 miles every time an issue arose and be without a car for days at a time. I did contact Eric to let him know I may be needing to use the warranty for the exhaust issue and his only reply was that I could use the warranty at any repair shop. There was no further contact on either end. A yelp comment does not constitute as "trying to contact" when you have multiple valid forms of contact for myself and my husband. If there was a genuine desire to make things right there should have been other contacts. Claiming the vehicle was 100% inspected was a misrepresentation. I sold the truck within weeks of repairing the exhaust to someone who drives far less than I do and doesn't need to rely on dependable transportation. read more

I have purchased many cars, new and used, everything from very expensive to affordable, but the experience I had with these guys was one of, if not the best car buying experiences I've had. After test driving the car, they brought to my attention that there was an issue with the glove box. I honestly wouldn't have even noticed but they replaced that and got me an updated nav disc as well as waved the handling fee. The purchase price was very fair for a rare sports car (Audi RS4) overall it was priced below market value. Ran into an issue with the starter about 30-45 days after purchase (not their fault) and even though the car was purchased as is with no warranty (8 year old car) they worked with me to replace that as well! WHO DOES THAT!?!? Don't be turned off because they're a smaller operation. These guys are the real deal! They truly care about the quality of their product and the client experience. When I am in the market again for a new car, I will start my search with them. This is the ONLY dealer I recommend to friends and family and I have a few family members that work for dealerships.
