The food is average, not bad but not great either. For the prices, they can make a better effort. The ambiance is nice. In a new open area of the Aventura Mall. A few restaurants near by. We sat at the bar. The drinks were average as well. Pricey if not in HH. They have HH mon-fri 3pm-6pm.

We went to Jarana to celebrate our anniversary! Food was delish, service was great and the restaurant had beautiful decor. We started with ceviche clásico. It was very good but there might have been a little too much salt or lime. Portion size was great for sharing! Next I had crispy rice! This was delicious! Was a great portion size for an app but also a small meal. I had the chaufa side which was very tasty. My husband had the seafood stew which he loved! All in all I would come back!

From the outdoor area to arrive and the beautiful decor, I lit up when I walked into Jarana for Mother's Day. Their staff were incredibly sweet and attentive. We had a party of 6 so I really got to try a lot of dishes. My mom got the 4 course special and it is absolutely worth it if you're hungry. Top favorites 1. Aji De Gallina pot pie. It was so rich and the puff pastry added the perfect balance. It was also filled with veggies similar to a traditional pot pie. 2. The chicken wings. They are full of flavor. 3. The grilled octopus! Pulpo. The best I've had in the states. Being from Peru, I take my Peruvian food reviews the most serious. Jarana has the authentic flavors with its own twist! Loved it and will be back

First time coming to Jarana in aventura and I must say it did NOT disappoint!! We had zero expectations but were surprised at how delish the food was. We had the baby back ribs and the chicken choclito and it was delicious!! The chicken wings were probably one of the best ones we've had ! Def recommend getting the wedge potatoes. Lastly we had the milhojas de fresas and it was sooo good I ate them by myself. The ambiance was great, we sat outside and it was such a vibe. Good music, great vibes. Our server Carlos was amazing! Super friendly, he gave us the best recommendations and made sure he took his time with making sure he gave us the best service. He was also super patient and had a great attitude even when my bf was being a bit picky! lol. Anyways, 10/10 and definitely would be back. Thank you Carlos for providing such great service!

Ordered takeout from DoorDash and absolutely LOVED the chicken kabobs. I literally cleaned the whole plate. As well as the donuts for dessert. Ate those so quick with a dollop of ice cream that I forgot to snap a pic! Lol. Delivery was pretty quick and the food was still warm. We sat on the balcony at my friends house to create our own ambiance. It was the perfect dinner. Can't wait to stop in or order again.

Cute restaurant on 2nd floor. Staff was attentive and the decor well done. My ceviche was delicious. The causa for me had a little too much going on- I didn't like the tomato addition but otherwise very good.

Delicious food and drinks. Our server was friendly and kind. The ambience is nice and overall a good experience. My only complaint is that it was a bit pricey

I'm a fan of Gastón Acurio so after hearing he has a restaurant in Aventura named 'Jarana', I had to visit. Came during lunch and was in the mood for pasta so I ordered their Peruvian Pesto Pasta w/ milanesa. I also ordered their Chicha Morada drink. My waiter was very patient and professional. I am familiar with Peruvian cuisine so this isn't my first rodeo trying Peruvian food haha. I think the prices were fair but I do think charging $11 for a small glass of Chicha Morada is a little steep in my opinion. Though, I love my dish and everything tasted great! I think my favorite dish was dessert: the Picarones. I can tell it was home-made and that delicious syrup was too good!

I was lucky enough to attend an event here and was so impressed that I decided to return for dinner. Jarana is an amazing Peruvian and Asian fusion restaurant that also serves as a fabulous space to host parties, tucked inside Aventura's Esplanade Park, a lively accessible outdoor space with easy parking access (always a win). We started with their infamous pisco sour while he had an Old Fashioned. Bartender's experience, a win for us. My favorite part, and the real reason for my return, was their crispy rice: a crisp Peruvian sushi-style roll topped with spicy tuna tartare, avocado, and salmon caviar. So good at the event that it deserved a repeat mention. We also ordered the anticuchos tenderloin, tender skewers served with roasted potatoes and chorizo, paired with rocoto and huacatay herb sauces, divinely cooked. And the star plate? Their crispy Peruvian fisherman's platter mixed with shrimp, octopus, and calamari. Frankly I thought it was sensational, perfect for enjoying as a duo. With friendly staff and attentive service, this is a lovely spot we've officially checked off as one we'll happily return to.

Wonderful Peruvian-Japanese resturant in Aventura mall. Huge interior and well decorated. We were greeted right away. They have an executive lunch menu during the week for a pre-fixed price and 3 course meal. Very worth it for all the food they give. The pisco was delicious and strong. The lomo saltado looked delicious and portioned were huge. The tuna tacos looked good, they were apps so on the smaller side. They have an extensive menu with a wide variety of options. Props to the chef for very fresh tasting food!

    Please come in. It's amazing.

Miami sushi will never be New York, San Francisco, or Japan, let's be real, but this is easily top three sushi in all of Miami for me. The key is non-negotiable, sit at the bar and do the omakase experience. They offer omakase at $50, $70 and $90-ish dollars, which is kind of wild when you consider the quality, the pacing, and how much food you're actually getting. Every piece is thoughtful, beautifully composed, and genuinely exciting to eat. Yes, a few bites lean a little saucy, that's my only critique, but the quality of the fish itself is insane, clean, fresh, and handled with real respect. I believe some of the owners are Peruvian, and you can feel that influence in the flavors and the way the dishes are presented. It adds personality without overpowering the fish, which is exactly how it should be. The experience overall is a straight 10 out of 10. If you keep kosher or avoid shellfish, this place deserves extra love because they offer kosher-style selections that don't feel like an afterthought, which is huge and honestly rare. That alone makes it a standout. One tip I'll give you, and this is important, sit at the bar and do the omakase. I can't really vouch for the rest of the menu, though I'm assuming it's solid, but the bar experience is where the magic happens. Right now, nothing compares to omakase here at this price point. Blind Tiger is special, and I'm saying that knowing full well I might regret exposing it.

Started with what I would consider sushi appetizers before the nigiri. I felt they were relying more on sauces in those dishes- but still solid. My favorite was the "tower" that had a cucumber base, nice chunks of avocado, topped with raw fish. There was a nice Unami flavor with truffle. Truly amazing. The nigiri was fresh- with some fish being preferred over others. Also, they had soy sauce on side so you could add the amount you want. Overall all the nigiri was good except for the shrimp Was my least favorite out of them all. However, I enjoyed each nigiri and trying fish I don't usually get. The last Sushi item was a hand roll. They then served miso soup which I thought was out of place in terms of order. Maybe should have been served first. The dessert in my opinion wasn't good and seemed store bought. In their defense, I am not much of a sweet person. I would have much rather had another sushi dish. However, one thing to note is that with the dessert - they did not give all parties the same type of treats. Therefore, we were a little disappointed when we didn't get the fruit tart and the chocolate macaroon. For drink I got a Japanese vodka drink (can't remember the name) that had a hint of wasabi. Wasn't spicy but you could taste it. The passion fruit mojito was so much better though and actually was part of the main restaurant. Servers were nice! Ambiance was really peaceful and cozy vibe. Sat at the counter thinking we would be able to watch the sushi chefs but instead just saw their heads. Would have been nice otherwise.
