    Parrilla del Carajo

The service from the start was great, there were plenty both indoor and outdoor seating. The location was nicely decorated and had a very cool vibe. I ordered the parrilla del carajo, the wait time wasn't long and the food was excellent. A delicious mix of flavors and perfectly cooked. I loved the skirt steak that came with the parrilla, it was perfectly tender and so flavorful. The veal hearts were also incredible, they were cooked and presented beautifully. Would highly recommend! Their sister restaurant Ceviche 105 is also a 10/10.

As much as I want to give them more stars I can't bring myself to it as a Peruvian. Fabian our server was great and gave us great service. The manager as well was very courteous. Overall service was good. The portions of the food were a good size specially for the cost, but I couldn't get over the fact that they put carrots, broccoli and other vegetables in a Peruvian Arroz Chaufa. The Pollo à la Brasa had good flavor, but there was just something missing. The maracuyá drink was definitely not worth it. Overall for me this is a more Americanized Peruvian restaurant than authentic. At least they don't have Chilean Pisco for their drinks.

Walking around the Aventura Mall and got hungry and went outside to check out a few of the restaurants. This one looked like a tropical jungle outside with big colorful designs inside with rotisserie chickens being prepared in the kitchen. The bartender was so happy to see us and had an Aperol spritz with an avocado chicken salad that was soooo delish.

The Fun, Festive, Colorful decor welcomes you into a cultural dining experience. The busyness of the pinatas, floaties, colorful splashes adds to the bustling feel of the restaurant. The seating is tight. While there was a mini coat hanger inbetween tables to place belongings, it made it difficult to maneuver around to get in and out of the seat. Even getting to the table was difficult sharing narrow aisles with servers and wait staff going to and fro the kitchen. The staff were kind and attentive. The food was robust in flavor and well portioned. The different sauces in the table caddy were a nice variety of flavors to pair with the food. I really enjoyed the aioli-like sauce with the beef/pepper sandwich. The bun was lightly toasted but had a nice fluffy chew. The restaurant adjacent (CVI.CHE 105) to this place share the same owner so we were able to order items (ie, cerviches, sushi rolls, etc) from there too. Very Tasty, would definitely recommend if you have a Peruvian craving!

I've been here plenty of times and every time it's delicious!! Service is friendly and efficient. The ambiance is bright, lively, modern but yet unique and it's comfortable, whether you sit inside or outside. Went for ceviche, a tequila cocktail (Jara is best!), a Chaufa and 1/2 a chicken entree. Mom and I shared everything and it was a feast! Great causal vibes at beautiful Aventura mall.

Let me start by saying I love this place food is incredible, drinks are great and service wonderful, ambience is cool . We had a delicious pollo a la brasa with salad , ceviche and 1 pisco sour. The bad news experience today were the bathrooms...they were a MESS!!

(5/5) We visited Pollo & Jarras in Aventura for dinner this weekend and once again, it did not disappoint! Parking is free since it's located at the mall, which makes it very convenient. The vibe is fun and vibrant cute inflatable donut decorations and colorful piñatas hanging from the ceiling make it feel lively but still comfortable for dinner. This was my second visit, and consistency is everything for me. The food was fresh, flavorful, and came out hot. They start you off with a sample of their chicken soup, and it's so good that I always order the full bowl. Definitely a must-try. The prices are reasonable with great shareable portions. The drinks were strong and actually tasted good no watered-down cocktails here! Service was excellent. The staff was attentive, checked in on us, and made sure everything was perfect throughout the meal. We ordered the Del Carajo with lambayeque rice and French fries, and everything was cooked perfectly. Why 5 stars? Consistent food quality Strong, good drinks Attentive service Kid-friendly Great value for the price I would absolutely recommend and will definitely be back again!

While in south Florida I was invited to eat at Pollos y Jaras at the Aventura Mall. The weather that day was mild which created a great opportunity to sit outside and enjoy the weather. The ceviche trio, not pictured, offered multitool types of ceviche with all three being tasty and the ceviche mad picante being my favorite. We then shared the Lolo Saltado and full Pollo a la Brasa . The meat was tender and mixed well with the sauce and fries in the lomo. The chicken was well seasoned and left you wanting to keep eating after you are full . The fires of course added a little more flavor and their house sauces were great for the chicken . I am a fan of comida peruana and will definitely eat here again when I am back in south Florida.

Delicious, fresh, vibey and attentive. Look saldato: a tad salty but the sauce is delicious. Got the ceviche from next door it was delicious and fresh. Not fishy at all The rotisserie chicken was juicy and flavorful. The fries were golden perfect and crispy Drinks were good but was a tad sweet. Service was excellent. 5/5

Muy buena experiencia cada vez que visito este lugar, la calidad y sabor de la comida es consistente y el trato como cliente es excelente. Me encanta su sazón original a la cocina peruana. Altamente lo recomiendo.

    Causa Crocante

We stopped by Pollos y Jarras while shopping at Aventura Mall and were pleasantly surprised. The food: We started with the causa crocante and it was insanely good. A creative twist on the traditional causa and packed with flavor. We also ordered "El Mostró de Miami," which gives you a taste of their rotisserie chicken, arroz chaufa, and fries. The chicken was juicy, well cooked, and flavorful. The chaufa was also excellent. The fries, however, were disappointing, clearly from a frozen bag and not worth eating. For what they charge, you would think they would make fresh homemade fries. The sauces that came with the meal were not impressive either. The vibe and service: We sat outside on the patio which was nice and made for a relaxed meal during a shopping break. Service was quick and friendly, which made the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. Bottom line: Worth returning for the chicken, chaufa, and that amazing causa crocante. Next time I will skip the fries and the sauces and stick with what they do best.

Absolutely delicious! This is probably my favorite Peruvian restaurant in Florida. I've visited Peru many times and their Pollo a la Brasa tastes just like how they cook em' there. And of course, you gotta have your sauces as well. They provide 6 sauces in a rack they leave in the table. Please don't hesitate to try them if you haven't! When I come here with family, we usually order 'Pollo a la Brasa' with french fries and salad. I usually like to order Chicha Morada or Inca Kola for my beverage. The staff is always polite and cordial to me. And I love the decor they have inside the restaurant.

I'm an omakase lover so I know fresh fish when I taste it. Barra Callao is as fresh as it gets. We looked over the menu and basically wanted everything so we just told the chef to start sending us dishes until we tapped out. And that is what he did. I wish I could say I had a favorite dish but they were all delicious. You really can't go wrong. I'm already going back next week to try the rest of the menu. We did ride share to the restaurant, arrived 20 minutes early and were melting when they opened the door. Staff came to the door at 4:45 and said they were setting up but didn't offer to let us wait inside. Food was very good but hard to enjoy your meal drenched in sweat. Very disappointing after looking forward to the experience all week. Understood this was not a traditional restaurant but the experience could easily have been better. Definitely need to explain the opening policy or provide a waiting area out of the weather.

We dined at Mercado 31's location in Miami Beach's North Beach area and went there a few times and always loved it- but we moved from the area and haven't been back. Now we're happy to have a Merkado location closer to us! We went on a weekend evening and were greeted by a restaurant employee and were promptly seated inside. Restaurant host Paola came by our table and offered to assist us and we ordered a bottle of Chardonnay ($30), and they have a variety of other beers, wines, and wine based cocktails, along with non-alcoholic drinks to select from as well. They also bring a little bowl of corn pieces as a snack as well. For an appetizer, we ordered the Papa Huancaina ($9.95), and had a few big slices of potatoes and a delicious sauce! It was plenty big for the two of us to share. For entrees, I ordered the Ceviche a la brasa ($18.95), and had really nice and flavorful cooked fish in an amazing broth and additional mix-ins. It was truly amazing, and very fresh and flavorful. My husband got the Chaufa de carne ($19.95) and he said it was also really good as well. All food was amazing, along with the service. We look forward to returning and mixing the restaurant into our normal mix of restaurants to visit!
