Dr. Smurthwaite is the most professional dentist I've ever worked with. He's worth every dollar and I wouldn't switch dentist's to pay half. I've bought a few teeth replacements off him and they're beautiful, translucent, seamless, even, and flawless. I have several Emax crowns including a far back molar that flows seamlessly behind a Corr Labs Custom Designed Zirconia Implant and you can't tell one from the other. Unless like other dentists that you have to take impressions and send out to 3rd Party Labs... Dr. Smurthwaite has the technology and hardware to make them on the spot in 30 min or less. Sandy was wonderful and put me at ease. She was so calming. Then the Dentist came in and he too was fabulous and took the time to explain what needed to be done and that it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. I am leaving a review to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the veneer procedure I had done here. If I could leave no stars I would! While the temporary veneers appeared beautiful and fit well, the permanent veneers are a significant departure from that standard. The shape and color of the veneers are not only aesthetically unappealing but also misaligned with my facial features. The current outcome has left me deeply disappointed and self-conscious about my smile. I believe the results are unacceptable and do not reflect the level of quality I expected. Despite my attempts to contact this office by phone, I have not received any response. I love Smile Quest Dental! I have been going to this practice for almost 12 years now. For years I was terrified of going to the dentist. But 12 years ago I met Dr. Smurthwaite who calmed my fear of getting dental work. One of my biggest fears is getting injections. Dr. Smurthwaite has a special technique where he will distract you so you will not feel anything when he injects the numbing meds. He is also very funny and personable. He is dentist that focus on truly getting the treatment that patience deserve. In addition to that Dr always makes follow up calls his patientsjust to make sure that you are doing OK. What great customer service! Today I had to get filling in my tooth that was separating and getting food caught in between the teeth and gums. I was a little nervous about it because again I don't like injections. But of course Dr. Smurthwaite and wonderful Sarah were very, very, very informative, patient and gentle. Sarah was very personable and very sweet. I loved how during my procedure she kept checking on me and making sure that I felt comfortable. She was very gentle and was very thorough making sure I was okay and not dying of a panic attack. In addition to that the front desk staff are always very friendly and I love how they send me text reminders about my appointment. I had some issues with my insurance and they were able to work out a simple plan for me and didn't make a big deal about it. I love that. Excellent accommodating care, and I am quite particular/picky about my dentist office.

I had a concern about a crown from many years ago, long before we moved to Roseville and became loyal patients of Smile Quest. It was really good how they attended to my concern and did what they could to save the crown. It wound up requiring a new crown and I feel trustworthy and in good hands would best describe the feeling I have. Dr. LaPierre and his great assistant performed the new crown. Dr. Loveland did the initial diagnosis and attempted repair. As a business person, I would add that the pass-off was as good as possible.
