I've never been disappointed at Jared's! The employees are extremely knowledgeable, and very understanding and kind. The selection is pretty grand compared to other jewelry stores of its kind. And the value is packed in because of the warranty! All you have to do to guarantee your jewels is continue to come back every six months, to have them checked and cleaned. Very disappointed after spending almost $2000 for a bracelet for my husband. It was too large so we went in to get it sized and it was going to be another $359 to have it sized or you had to buy their warranty for $279. Sounds like a way to make more money to me. I wouldn't have wanted to size it because it loses value but it was way too long. That's ridiculous though and I wasn't told that at the time of purchase besides it should fit properly when you purchase it. We returned it and they did not seem to even care about losing the sale. I love all of them!! I can't stand their credit company because they closed my account with no reason or warning. I'd never even been late on a payment. Went to Jared in Westminster to get a wedding band. I knew exactly what I wanted, a plain band with no diamonds. The associate who was working with me, Linda, did not seem to understand why I'm insisting on a simple ring and was quite judgmental of my choice. I get that the more expensive ring she sells, the bigger her paycheck but I was trying to explain to her that I simply don't like diamonds on my wedding ring. This was not a question of money but taste. The ring had to be resized and they charged a fee (which I think it should be included in the price of the ring). When I came to pick it up, she did not forgot to bring up in front of other associate that I'm here for the simple ring. If I was not pressed for time, I would bring my business elsewhere. I can not say enough good things about Jared in Westminster, Co. I was greeted the moment I walked up to their door. The nice gentlemen asked me how he could help, and I told him I have a chair that is very dear to me that I wear on a necklace next to the charm with my husbands ashes. He said when he looked at the charm with ashes, "Hi Husband" and that caught my heart right away. I showed him the charm that kept falling off and he said it needed to be soldered. He took it back to the repair shop, came back and said it was fixed and put the necklace back on me. I went to hand him at debit card and he said No Charge. I told him he was going to make me cry. The salesman suggested she have her 3ct wedding ring assessed for damage. Its a large diamond cut solitaire and it site high so she agreed. He told her that 2 prongs were damaged and suggested repair at a cost of "around $300. She decided to use the Jared's in Golden and they found NOTHING WRONG. read more

Came here to get a rhodium dip for a ring. Called a mom and pop closer to home and was quoted $200 and a 2 week wait. This place was $39 and just took hours. Friendly staff. I'm sure they'd rather sell me jewelry than a service but the good service may have me coming back for more! They couldn't replace the batteries on a couple of my watches but gladly referred me to the place they use nearby for watch batteries they can't change. Ok I really wish I had checked Yelp before I came to this place. Every business can be expected to make a mistake or two sometimes. The problem with this place is mistakes is simply the norm; it's what they specialize in. We entrusted my lovely wife's 17 years old wedding set to Jared for some upgrades. We went over all the changes in fine detail with the associate. What was delivered had the wrong size stone, did not have the connection bars removed and had the stone set in the wrong direction. They offered to remedy the problem and we would have been perfectly happy had that happened. With my girl without her ring for a month we returned to Jared to see the finished masterpiece. The connector bars still had not been removed and the stone was set in the wrong direction. They had replaced the stone with the larger one at least. With the staff being so confused and nobody really knowing what was going on, we took the ring home in that condition to be properly altered elsewhere. I advise you to steer clear. read more

Very disappointed. We shopped at Jared for my engagement ring at a Jared's in Lakewood and had an good experience. HOWEVER, a month or more before our wedding I ordered my husbands ring online because I wanted it engraved. I picked it up from the Westminster location a few days before we were to leave out of town since we were having a destination wedding and it was completely messed up! It was supposed to say Touchdown and our wedding date and instead it read Touc hdown. There is a clear gap/ space between the c and h that makes it look like 2 separate words there is also a gap/space in the date. When I picked it up I noticed it and nobody said a words even though on the receipt it states that the ring had spaces so whoever sent it out knew there was a problem and sent it out anyway???!!!!! I talked to the manager and she said we could have it sent back but it would take 2 weeks or more to get it back. My wedding was in less than a week. She said I could bring it back after the wedding for a different one but the sentimental value would have been lost for me and my husband! I'm so upset the didn't rectify this before sending it out knowing it was incorrect or try to compensate in any other way. The lady who helped me at the Westminster store was incredibly rude and didn't seem to care much about the situation. I called the number to be connected to someone online and that's also a joke on hold for 20 plus minutes and they didn't help. Thanks Jared for messing up a key piece to my wedding. My husband and I bought my previous wedding set from Jared about 10 years ago, so I was excited to get to go in and trade in/up my ring and diamond. As soon as I walked in I was greeted by Amanda, she was polite and courteous and listen to everything I was explaining that I wanted. We sat at the counter and for the next 2 1/2 hours she was very sweet... pulling out all the different kinds of Rings, diamonds and bands... everything I pointed out she was willing to get out and let me try on, she made wonderful to suggestions and was very helpful. I told Amanda that I would need to bring my husband back and would be back. She smiled and said "I hope to see you soon". I love the fact that there was no pressure and I didn't feel uncomfortable at any point during our conversation. A few hours later I drug my husband back into the jewelry store, and then again for another 2 1/2 hours Amanda was extremely helpful! At no point did either of us feel "pressured" into making a purchase and we never felt like we had to buy "right now". My husband and I found my new set and I couldn't wait to get it on! It was :30 at night and they would have to re-size both bands, change the head for the diamond, and of course polish and clean it. Amanda said I could have it the next day by 2 PM! (Because come on admit it, we all like instant gratification and as a woman I love to wear my ring and I was super excited to get to wear my new diamonds ). The following day I picked up my ring and it was perfect!!!! Thank you so much to Amanda (and Lou) for all your help! We will definitely be back. On a side note: I also bought my mother the "Ever After" ring, its stunning and the price is very reasonable. P.S. I read all of the terrible yelp reviews and the only thing I want to say is l "have patience!" While I was in the store it was extremely busy and I could tell that every time a new customer came in they would stand at the counter, (they were greeted) but if they were not helped immediately they would start to stare or give dirty looks, tap on the glass counters... I want to say in the defense of all of the sales representative's : that they greeted the new customer and let them know "someone will be with you as soon as possible". So if you see the sales rep standing at the computer or on the phone... they are actually assisting a customer!!! And you need to remember this is a very important purchase for most of us and I admired that my representative was willing to except a dirty look and tapping on the glass and still didn't feel the need to "hurry me" up or pressured me into a sale. Horrible jewelry store! I bought an expensive ring (over $11,000) and when it broke I was pretty disappointed. They fixed it and guaranteed me it would never happen again, but it did - it broke in the same place and I'm just lucky that I noticed it happen and didn't lose my diamond. It took me months of fighting with the store, the corporate office and a case manager to get my money back and then they didn't refund everything they said they would (I asked for my appraisal money back since I'd have to get a new appraisal on a new ring.) Also, while I was in the store I was treated very rudely by a salesman named Brian and by every person I talked to on the phone, with the exception of one woman who finally apologized to me for the inconvenience and disappointment. Other than that, I've had nothing but really bad experiences there and I would not recommend it to anyone. Without a doubt, the worst customer service experience in my life.  I have been dealing with a repair issue with my engagement ring since July 2016 and it has still not been resolved. Now you have had my ring since the end of February and we were told that it will be May before it is returned. This is completely unacceptable. Why would a "jeweler" need to return a ring to the manufacturer for repair? First I was told that the local store would receive the pink sapphires from HQ (so that I could approve the color...another promise broken). Next, I was told that you had to send the ring to HQ so that a sapphire could be cut that would best fit the setting. (Apparently, another lie). Now we are told that the ring has been sent back to the manufacturer? My question is "why"? Is the manufacturer replacing the stone or the RING? Potentially another lie on your part, as I guaranteed that I would receive MY ring back. I have spent countless hours speaking to people, meeting people in person, and having to follow-up. If I could give 100 stars, I would do it in a heartbeat! I was referred to come to this Jared because my engagement ring had been broken by Kay (that's another review). Shelley from the customer care department promised me that this store would be able to make things right. After having a ring of such importance damaged, I was very hesitant to come in to have it looked at. I was ready to just walk away and cut my losses. I am so unbelievably glad that I didn't do this. I worked with Madie and Ryan here and they are both wonderful! They really made me feel valued as a customer and actually listened to what I was saying. They are the cream of the crop! My ring ended up needing to be replaced. Madie was amazing and helped me find the perfect ring that matched my wedding band. I never felt pressured and I was so confident that she really knew her stuff. Once I found a setting and a diamond that fit my needs, Ryan went quickly to work and set the stone as well as resized my wedding band in an hour and a half. Went in to get my 3 rings inspected for my 6 month check up. One ring needed a free repair of a stone, which was supposed to take 2 days. Filled out the paperwork, included my phone number for issues. Decided to give it 2 extra days to be picked up, just incase. Showed up after 4 days and it was not even looked at yet. They didn't even bother to call me that it wasn't done the 2days prior. Finally after 7 days, it was completed for pick-up. Customer service severely went down at this location. Will not have me as a customer anymore. Didn't even get an apology, only excuses. read more

My husband bought my wedding ring from Jared in Henderson, NV and had such a great experience. That's what we expected here with the same courtesy at that Jared. However, that was not the case. The staff just kept walking by with no acknowledgement of our existence. Two people were helping one customer and there were four other customers waiting to be helped too. The one customer that was being helped by two sales associates was given bottles of water. Would have been a nice gesture to at least give water to the waiting customers as well. My husband and I ended up leaving after waiting 40 min. Going to take our business elsewhere. Was at Tiffanys earlier to fix a bracelet and it was a completely different experience. Rude and inconsistent. I went there to have my ring cleaned and inspected. I called two days ahead of time to make sure I didn't need an appointment and was told no. When I got there they had a sign up that said sign in for appointments and walk-ins. Walk-ins available as capacity allows. I was the only customer there and was told with very much attitude that I had to make an appointment. Save yourself the hassle and drive to the Loveland location. When I bought my wedding band their it was fine, but I have to return every 6 months to get my ring appraised. This has been fine but inconvenient. They usually clean my wedding ring and my promise ring when I go in. I usually have to warn they not to put my promise ring in the shaker because of how the diamonds are placed, but they decided not to listen to me. A routine cleaning turned into them having to replace several diamonds in my promise ring because they put it in the shaker when I told them not to. read more

A little pushy to make a decision, but it was late in the day. Now I come in on my own, waited 10 minutes to be assisted. They're charging me for a resize that 6 days prior they said would be free. The manager said the person who had sold us the jewelry had been employed for 9 years, had it been a new employee they would have backed it up. What?! This store is very....inconsistent. When my husband got the engagement rings, he had an excellent experience, very warm and inviting. When we returned to order our wedding bands, that is when for some reason the entire experience changed. We decided on a white gold and diamond mens band for the both of us, matching. My husband is size ten, which is their stock size, so we bought his. Mine was 8.5, so had to be "ordered" from the manufacturer. Ok, no problemo...we had about 2.5 months until the wedding date. We were given a guarantee date of January 14th. That came, nothing. Was pushed to Feb 2. That came, nothing. We start getting pissed. We contact the store manager, corporate customer service. We were given the excuse that the manufacturer ceased all communication, conveniently, and my ring was part of the order that got somehow 'missing' in the shuffle. We were given for the third time another date of Feb 13, then got told later that nevermind, the wedding bands we ordered almost 3 months ago will never come, and we should consider getting something else, or getting a stock 10 resized in the store, which would make it 'oval shaped' and will not fit on my ring properly. Are you kidding me? Think about it for a moment...few weeks before the wedding, stressed from the planning, relying on a professional jeweler to handle my wedding rings, and they can't even do that? Corporate acts like they don't give a damn what I'm going through, no admission of guilt. The store acts like we are a nuisance and don't give a damn either. So we say fuck it, and want to return the stock 10 band we bought 2 months ago. Nope. Can't do it, says corporate, because Jared has a 30 day return policy. We could only 'exchange' it. We fight with corporate, we fight with this store. After a heated discussion over the phone, we are told we can return it with a credit on our Jared account. So weeks before our wedding, we tearfully return one of two wedding bands and are forced to go on a hunt again for something we want. We go to several jewelers who compete with Jared, but ultimately find something at Kay Jewelers, who ironically enough, is owned by the same umbrella company as Jared and Zales. "Terrible Customer Service!" This was suppose to be a fun experience and it turned into anything but! We ordered a custom ring setting for my wife for our 27 year anniversary. We were told at the time it was going to take roughly 6 weeks. The communication from the staff was very poor and rude. After speaking to a so called manager, she could care less about the issues! The experience was like buying a used car, very unprofessional. We will never step foot in the that store again, and if you do I wish you luck...I will gladly spend my money somewhere else in the future. 6 weeks into the job we received a call from the girl at the jewelry repair counter (very rude by the way) and asked why we haven't come back to the store to sign off on the wax ring mold? I was speechless because we had sign off wax mold with the master jeweler 6 weeks prior. I ask the girl to follow-up with her staff? no call back! I called back 3 days later and talked to our inexperienced salesperson who lied to me and told me that the wax ring was broken and they had to order another one. Unbelievable! So I called and spoke to another person who told me all was well and we were still on track with a March 20th completion, we were told this date before? Then we get another call back saying that the casting was not right and they needed send it back out and it would take another 5 days to complete. She said they would offer us a $200 credit on our bill for our inconvenience, really! Now the fun begins! So I received a call and was told the ring would be ready after 2pm on Friday, March 25th. We show up at the jewelry repair counter, the girl said we would have to wait because she was busy doing something else, but we were the only customer in front of her. We were waiting for a good 15 minutes. We told her we were here to pick up our ring, of course it took another 25 mins to find it. The jeweler was still working on it, wait it's 5pm? The customer service at this store is unbelievably terrible, especially in the repair department. My husband and I went in today so that I could drop off my wedding set to be soldered, cleaned, and re-dipped in rhodium. We stood there for several minutes while the girls behind the counter chatted with each other and ignored us. I finally said something to them and one of them finally asked me "What exactly do you need?" I told her and she asked if I had bought the rings there. When I told her yes, she asked for my name. I spelled my last name for her and she typed it in and then turned her back to me and went back to chatting with her colleagues again. Finally after about 3 minutes or so I asked her if she had found me and she said "Not yet hun..." and went back to chatting. After another 3 minutes, she asked me for my name again. She once again typed it in and went back to chatting. Finally another 3-4 minutes later a 2nd girl asked me for my name a 3rd time. At this point I asked them if they needed me to write it down, if that would be easier? I was not trying to be rude, I have an unusual last name and sometimes need to write it down for people. The girl rolled her eyes at me and said "No hun...I don't need you to write it down." So, I gave the 2nd girl my name and she, once again, typed it in then turned her back and started chatting with her colleagues about a new ring she had just bought. Eventually after they continued to chat for over 10 minutes without acknowledging us, or letting us know that they were still trying to help us, my husband got irritated and said "Hey, knitting circle, can you stop talking for a moment and help us?" The first girl said "Hun, it's the computer, it's just really slow. We're working on it honey." and then the 2nd girl got rude with him, telling him that it wasn't their fault, the computer was just slow. Finally after standing there for over 20 minutes, the 2nd girl handed me a sales slip and asked me to fill it out with my name, address, and phone number. I filled out my name, phone number, signed it, and handed it back to her. She looks at it and told me that I have to put my address as well. I told her that I didn't want to give them my address, but thank you anyway. She rolled her eyes and said "Fine, we'll see you at 6." and threw the copy of the sales slip on the counter and walked away. I still don't know if they ever found me in the computer. All of this could have been avoided had any one of the girls standing behind the counter said "We're sorry, the computer is really slow but we're working on it." That never happened, and we didn't even know there was a computer issue until we got irritated with them. And then when we did get irritated they acted offended. There was never an apology, or any acknowledgement whatsoever that they had done anything wrong. In fact, they acted like we had. Additionally, both of the girls that we spoke to condescendingly called us "Hun" or "Honey" several times which is completely inappropriate and unprofessional. As someone who has been in the customer service industry for over 30 years, this is the worst example of retail customer service I have ever seen, and that's saying a lot.
