Please beware. I inquired about a truck on this dealership's used lot. I own several Dodge Ram trucks and have extensive knowledge of these vehicles. Unfortunately, my experience with salesperson Sergey Kavalersky was extremely disappointing from the start. During our initial text conversation, I felt I was spoken to as though I was uneducated about trucks. Sergey told me we couldn't have a productive discussion because I had not yet seen or driven the truck. He also stated that they had 24 leads on the vehicle and seemed more interested in talking numbers than answering my questions. His communication came across as arrogant and dismissive. My husband encouraged me to at least go look at the truck in person. When I arrived, I carefully inspected the vehicle and immediately noticed several concerns. While looking underneath the truck, I wiped my hand along the backside of a tire and found a significant amount of brake dust. I asked Sergey about the condition of the brakes and received no answer. During the test drive, I was never allowed to drive above 30 mph, which prevented me from properly checking the alignment. I also asked if there was a place nearby where I could test the 4x4 system and was told no. After returning to the dealership, Sergey appeared more concerned about discussing the closing on his new home and getting home for the day than addressing my questions about the truck. I asked whether the truck came with a second key and again received no answer. While reviewing the vehicle history, I discovered that the catalytic converter and diesel particulate filter had both been replaced at only 29,000 miles. These are expensive components, and their replacement at such low mileage raised serious concerns. When I asked why these repairs were necessary, I received no explanation. If you're looking for a dealership that dismisses concerns and undermines customers, this may be the place for you. The truck was for me. I was the person who initially inquired about it. However, when Sergey didn't get the response he wanted from me, he began contacting my husband instead. The following Monday, he called my husband twice with different offers. My husband explained that we were no longer interested due to the numerous red flags surrounding the truck. Apparently dissatisfied with that answer, Sergey called me the next day and asked whether my husband had told me about the deal he could offer. I explained that I was unhappy with the service I received and was no longer interested in the truck for the same reasons my husband had already communicated. My husband and I are on the same page, so I found it inappropriate that Sergey seemed to be attempting to work around one spouse after receiving an answer from the other. Throughout the process, I felt that my knowledge and concerns were repeatedly dismissed. As a woman with experience and understanding of these vehicles, I found the treatment both disrespectful and unprofessional. To make matters worse, the finance manager later called asking if there was anything he could do to earn my business. I explained the issues I had experienced, but he also had no information regarding the truck's history or the concerns I had raised. It left me wondering how a dealership can attempt to sell a vehicle when no one seems able to answer basic questions beyond what is displayed on a computer screen. I'm sure this review will receive the standard response about how sorry they are and how the matter will be addressed internally. However, that does not change how I was treated throughout this process. I am writing this review simply to help other women and wives avoid having a similar experience. read more

When things don't go as planned, that's when you truly see a business's professionalism, integrity, and honesty. My 2020 Explorer had an intermittent drivability issue. After the initial inspection and diagnosis, a repair was recommended. Unfortunately, it didn't fix the problem and turned out to be unnecessary. Once the correct repair was identified and completed, the vehicle was returned to me running properly. Jennifer and the service department demonstrated outstanding integrity by standing behind their mistake and not charging me for the unnecessary work. went there today with an 11 o'clock appointment. they didn't let us know what was actually wrong with the van until 130 and the work was immediately authorized by me. Then they finally come back at 4pm to let us know that they don't have the parts and would have to keep it over night. They offered a ride home, great, but no offer for a loaner after I sat here all day for them to just let us know what was wrong with it. To top it off, we called yesterday to make sure they could do the work today and they said yes. The brakes were grinding and what's great is that we were just there at the end of April, we're not even half way through to the next needed oil change, and their multi point inspection in April said the brakes were good to go and no one said a thing. read more

I purchased a certified pre owned 2020 Ford Escape on Monday May 11th. After driving the vehicle home it began making a squealing noise. I took the vehicle in that Thursday to have a crack in the windshield fixed I found during the test drive. I asked them to check the engine to see what the squealing noise was. They kept the car for 7 days and determined the Turbo Charger had to be replaced. During the time they had the vehicle I never got updates unless I called and even then everything was very vague. On May 20th they called and said the vehicle was ready. My son picked it up and by the time he got home (about 3 miles) the engine began squealing again. So after a week and a half, I've had the vehicle in my possession less than 2.5 days and haven't driven the vehicle 10 miles. Jarret Gordon ford is totally unreliable and has a terrible service department. My son was cleaning the inside of the car and found a blood stained napkin and some cotton swabs in the back seat pocket. Im not sure if they were there when we bought the car or if they were put there in the service department. Either way, that's completely unacceptable. I can't understand how a vehicle is advertised as having a 138 point inspection, yet the turbo was burned out and bloody napkins were in the seat pocket. As a direct result of my experience I won't be buying anything from Jarrett Gordon or the Ford Motor Company. The fact Ford allows a dealership to operate in this manner and represent their products is deeply concerning. I highly recommend a more reliable dealership. After picking the car up, it began making a squealing noise again. This time it was determined the water pump pulley assembly was bad. After 6 day, I went to pick up the car and when I started it, the engine was idling rough and stalled. I went back in and they determined it was some kind of valve. All of this after buying a Certified Pre Owned Ford. I've never been contacted by anyone from Jarrett Gordon Ford and the last time I was there I asked to speak to the service manager and he never came out. They handed me the keys and said the car was fixed.Jarrett Gordon Ford continues to ignore the situation and refuses to accept any responsibility for their continued failures and shortcomings. read more

Went in for simple tire change. Immediately after service, developed loud noise from front right wheel that gets worse with speed. When I returned, instead of checking their work, they tried to sell me $1,400+ in wheel hub repairs. The timing is too coincidental - healthy bearings don't fail right after tire service. Very suspicious that they won't take responsibility for potential damage during their work. Will not return. read more

A few years ago, I had the Body Shop repair my car. Perfect job and the gentleman was so hospitable. He drove my husband out to Auburndale on his way home to pick up my husband's car. I had a little boo-boo on my car and 2 weeks later, a builder made an additional boo-boo on my car. Different gentleman, gave separate quotes knowing not going through insurance for either. Seemed reasonable for both, he said 1-1 1/2 weeks to repair. Left it on Sat so they could start to work on it Mon because the "parts were in". Almost 2 weeks later, it's ready but one part not in. Immediately, we noticed they zip tied parts around my front headlight that my husband did to make sure did not parts fall out. The estimator never opened the hood. Claimed the Body Shop didn't but there were different zip ties holding in my headlight. He acted like I was somehow in the wrong when I expect a professional that does this daily knows what he is doing. It was obvious from the outside. A week later, all of the parts are still not in. And, I have to keep calling for updates. I feel like they have my $3,500+ so far and have baited me for more with no communication but to find out what we think of their service. read more

It was scheduled for a few days from then, and they kept in constant contact reminding us. We arrived at a covered service area, handed the keys off, watched some TV, read, and had a coffee. They texted me with recommendations that could be approved or not. We were out in less than 90 minutes. All service team members were courteous, helpful, and friendly. This service location is much more convenient to get to than one in Winter Park or Clermont, which would all be about the same distance for me from Winter Garden, so I have been going here for the last 2 years. However, I think today is the last straw. Every single time that I've gone, they've upset me. They have either lost something, not done something right, or like today - scheduled my appointment and apparently it means nothing. Once my new car started to have problems and broke down on the side of the road. I had the car towed there. They said all was fine and I could drive home. I didn't even make it home and my car broke down again, having to get towed AGAIN. Another time I asked them about a noise in the trunk that started after they fixed the issue above. They told me they fixed it.. still continued. They told me they couldn't figure it out, my partner immediately figured out they need to screw something down and they had taken the screw out and lost it. If this is your job, shouldn't you know this??? They also said I didn't have a jack and then I opened the trunk with the guy and there it was. He seemed embarrassed, as he should have been. Another time there was a recall and I called about it and asked if this what was already fixed for me with the breaking down thing. I was told no and had to make an appt. Waited almost the entire day while they had my car to then be told - oh we already did this for you. Wasted my entire day off! I was fuming. This time I called to make an appointment for a recall on my car because my car could possibly catch fire. They didn't seem concerned and said all is fine and couldn't get me in for 1.5mos. Finally go for my appt today, show up and I'm asked if I have a ride home because it might take most the day since they are just having people drop their cars off and they'll get to them when they can - um what?? Why did I make an appt? That wasn't what I was told on the phone either. Convenience just isn't worth it anymore. There is also a general lack of communication. They text you for "communication" but often it doesn't work or they don't use it and I've found myself having to call multiple times for updates whenever they have my car. Had an appointment for the 150k mile service to see if any belts, hoses, or filters needed to be changed. Instead they changed my oil and stripped the screw though it was fine when I went in, which cost me as they couldn't put the oil plug back in. They broke some interior trim as I found that on the ground inside the drivers side. They messed with the passenger mirror which was installed upside down but did not put it back. The very worst, when I left the low oil pressure light came on which had never come on before and my friend noted that they didn't plug the hose in the engine back in so my car was running really loud (he hooked that back up). The filters are still super dirty and I'm pretty sure I'm burning oil now cause of what they did. read more

Most people seem to forget that they're not the only ones who live on this planet. I've taken my car here numerous times for oil changes and they even fixed my motor mounts with no issues. Took my company truck to Jarret-Gordon Ford for four tires, oil change, brakes all around and a 100 point inspection. Received the truck and immediately upon start up could hear an obvious ticking sound coming from exhaust. These people don't do a courtesy inspection and are just parts changers at best. You can't tell me a competent mechanic can't hear an exhaust leak when it's good practice to test drive a vehicle after a brake job in order to seat the pads and break in rotors. I took my truck into their service department for a warranty repair on my drivers mirror that was moving slower than the passenger side. After 19 days i still have not gotten my truck back, they have not had me sign any authorization paperwork, they do not call and give status updates like i have requested and when i went to pick it up today, "the repair was done but they didnt submit my warranty claims yet." They tried to charge me 1600 dollars to pick it up today. When ive called and complained during the past 19 days the managers were unwilling to do anything to help or be transparent. Every day it was "itll be done tomorrow or on monday." They dont care that i use my truck for business or that it has both of the car seats for my children in it. When i asked why i would ever buy another ford or use their service again they said thats my choice and they didnt care. Stay far away from these guys. Theyre dishonest and do not care at all about customers. Theyre ruining the ford brand name. read more

Honestly, I'd give them 10 stars if I could. I was here on a trip. When I arrived at 11pm, while unloading bags, my back drivers side door latch no longer worked, meaning that door did not close. When I looked it up, I realized it was a recall on my Ford Escape that had been sent out prior to my buying the car. I called Jarrett-Gordon Ford as soon as they opened. Albert Caro in the Service Department took care of me and told me to bring it in. He got us in right away and gave me a loaner car for us to use for the day on our trip. He made what could have been a really bad situation much, much better with his kindness, quick service, and helpful nature. Take my car in for a oil change and of course they hit me with 1400$ worth of stuff that " needs to be done urgently " try and charge 1100$ for tires ! 90$ for a windshield washer cap that " magically disappeared " when it was 100% on when I arrived there and costs less than half of what there charging. Where do I start? My Mustang sadly flooded in hurricane Ian whilst sitting on our driveway and spent nearly a month in the body shop department being repaired, they found the water had come in through the front by the windshield and underneath seals had perished, over the month it was there the communication was horrendous and Bob in the BS dept is the rudest man I have ever dealt with. He doesn't share any information and when you ask whats going on he responds with sarcasm and curtness! The insurance agreed on an amount but "miraculously" the BS kept finding different areas on my car that needed repair which amounted to another $1900 that we paid out of pocket, nevertheless we paid it with the assurance it was repaired. Fast forward to last weekends storms and yet again it flooded but much worse this time but in the same place, my car had been sitting on the drive from Friday to Monday so we know the leak was not from underneath but from clearly from the front of the car again, this time there was at least 6 inches of water on the passenger side pooled behind the seat. We immediately contacted JF who sent out a tow truck for free, this was Tuesday morning at 9am and its now Saturday, my car has been sitting outside the bodyshop full of water, no one has even assessed the damage yet and no one will return our calls. I dread to think of the unsafe and unsanitary condition my Mustang is in sitting in 6 inches of water and no one cares, they only care about selling cars, the after care does not exist! They have however provided me with a rental free of charge, when we collected this on Tuesday morning Bob was in the reception and proceeded to roll his eyes and make a very loud sarcastic comment stating - "this will be nothing to do with the old repair, it will be a new leak" how he can make this comment with not even seeing the car just shows its a money making scam. Buyers beware they cannot be trusted! We have spoken with Mr Gordon (the owner) who listened to our serious complaint and showed empathy to our ongoing situation and promised to communicate with us on his return from running the Boston marathon last week, Thursday at the latest - we are still awaiting his call. read more

I have been coming to these guys for years for service maintenance and more recently - body shop repairs. They also have a complimentary shuttle service to pick you up and take you home if your car is going to take a while (there was one time I had to get home to make sure my kids got off the bus) and another time they picked me up to get my car. Their oil changes and tire rotations are cheaper than tires plus, also. They never make me pay for things I don't need. Every service member is pleasant and genuine. You can tell these guys take pride in their work and are happy in their place of employment - a rarity these days. Update - another reason why I will not go anywhere else to have my car serviced - after having my car for body work, they washed, waxed, and vacuumed the inside of my car. They told me the car I had just bought had a nail in the tire but that it was fine and let me drive it off the lot. The next morning when I woke up the tire was completely flat and I missed a meeting. The warranty that I bought with them they told me covered everything didn't cover the tow so I had to pay for that out of pocket. Unbelievable. We had the most pleasant car buying experience here. Absolutely no pressure whatsoever. We knew what kind of car we were looking for and we were not pushed to look at anything other than what we wanted. Our salesman was Bryce and if anyone is ever in need of a vehicle, please go in and see him. He is super pleasant and very professional. The dealership closed at 7:00pm and he stuck it out with us until after 9:30pm and was not bothered by it one bit. He even spent a few minutes with us before we drove off the lot at almost 10:00pm, to make sure we understood the features of the vehicle. Kudos to this dealership and kudos to Bryce! I have to update my review and give kudos as well to the Finance Manager, Solomon. After we left the dealership on 5/20, he continued to work on our contract and was able to reduce our car payment by $50.00 and then continued to work on it after that, found additional rebates and called me to let me know that they were issuing us a check for the additional funds! Ok, So everything started out fine then during the price negotiation the Salesman Xavier took it upon himself to throw out a insult. I did mention it and he had no response so I thought maybe it was a slip up. So I let it go... Then his manager comes out to help move things forward and we agreed on a price. $299 a month for a 2014 Focus. So X was saying he was hungry so we went to pick up food for him and us while my stepfather was finalizing the purchase. When I return I see the payment is $318 when we agreed on $299. What a bunch of BS! They say they did not know that our trade in was a leased car and we have to pay the tax on the unpaid balance on the lease. HaHaHaHaHa what a joke. So then when I am walking back to finance he throws another insult. What a loser to treat customers like he treats them. Finance then said "Oh, here's another $500 rebate I can apply to the deal" , how convenient a long lost undiscovered rebate found only after they changed the deal we agreed on. I recently bought a 2013 Ford Edge and Ford Sync has started acting up. I brought my car in to have it updated. According to the 12MO2 recall. Waited 2hrs and half for the supposed "update". I saw my car pulled around went in before the guy, that drove up. He walked into the girl at the front and showed her a note on the back of my paperwork. I heard him PRECISELY say "Manufacture reset and updated". She repeated the same BS back. I happy go lucky drive off the lot, but decided to check my Sync system information. ZERO update. I went back and The lady at the desk kept saying some BS about 5 year. Because the car was MADE in 2012. However, it was PURCHASED by the Original owner in 2013. I got my car towed there because my key broke in car ignition. I went there to get two new keys and a new tire. Out of my parent's knowledge I shouldn't be charge $300 for a second key. So we threw that one out of window. After two hours later I ask how much longer then they told me I should of gotten a text which I responded I didn't. When they sent it again they found a tear in another tire so they ask if I want to get another tire I gave it a go ahead hoping for two new tires. Following Saturday I was in a car accident. So we were trying to get receipts from previous people to see if we can get money. To find out that even though they charged me TWO NEW TIRES. They only put ONE new tire on my car. Waited 2 hours and went to see what was wrong. Saw my car sitting out front so thought it was done and they just forgot to come get me. Finally talked to a guy at a desk who said nothing had been done to my car. Then waited another hour for the oil change. Very disappointed in this service.
