One of my favorite go-to places for hookah and a great place to hangout and relax. The entire staff is extremely nice and helpful. Their hookahs are all pretty good, havent disliked any so far. I come here pretty often..so often that Karim knows what my favorite hookah is and has it immediately brought out as soon as i sit down to order it. Talk about speedy service! The staff members are constantly walking around to make sure all their customers' needs are satisfied (which include any coal changes), which is very rare to see in hookah spots. They allow outside food and drinks and the music is good enough to hear but not too loud where you cant have a decent conversation with the person next you, unlike many of the other hookah spots. Open all the time, friendly people, great service, awesome food, great smoothies, pretty awesome :) Also...to address the post here about getting sick from this place: This person is claiming to have gotten herpes from a hookah pipe. That is LITERALLY impossible. Herpes is a complex virus that needs a host (membrane, tissue, etc.) in order to hold, spread and infect. It CANNOT attach to an inanimate object (a hookah pipe) especially through multiple washing, and infect someone. This is just as insane a claim as people who have said they have gotten chlamydia or gonorrhea from a toilet seat. No. Do you know what these people all have in common though? ...They almost ALWAYS engage in risky sexual behavior. I have been to this place maybe 7 to 10 times, I don't smoke argileh all the time, but I have NEVER gotten sick from this place. My favorite hookah bar on a section of Steinway that is literally swamped by hookah bars. Jasmin Lounge is chill, cheap, and has great service. They have great teas and smoothies, which is a bigger draw for my wife (who isn't as into hookah). The place usually has cool stuff on the TVs (but they put on football games on TVs in the back on Sundays which is cool). Very authentic and not packed with the annoying younger crowds you see at some of the louder hookah bars. The owner is awesome and the staff is friendly and helpful. Another perk is they're open 24/7 (I've never seen it closed), and since I sometimes work crazy hours, it's cool to have a spot to relax at noon, 4pm, 8pm, 2am, or whenever. read more

I love this place. I don't really consider it because there are more wholesome options in terms of experience when it comes to music I like, food, drinks and hookah nearby. But when it comes to a good old-fashioned time where you can actually have good conversation with company as opposed to screaming on the top of your lungs like nearby places, this place wins by a mile. Every hookah option here is great. The workers are extremely friendly and actually smile and socialize, which is a rarity in most New York hookah establishments. This place is really excellent. It has a nice vibe, and their fresh fruit hookahs are some of the best in the neighborhood. I really like the pineapple fresh fruit with mint. I come to this place all the time. It's hard to find a Hookah spot that gives you great hookah on a consistent basis and at a fairly cheap price. They don't serve food, but you're always more than welcome to bring your own, which is a positive thing for me. Some of the other spots in Steinway tell you that you got to order from their menu. The TV's are big, which make watching games there fun. It gets very energetic when the Knicks play. If you're a soccer fan, they always have the games on as well. Its a Hookah Lounge and they have the best hookah so far i have tried in NYC. I go their once or twice a month. Guys who works here are very friendly. You can bring food from elsewhere and eat there or order next door. They will bring it to you. It's pretty cozy in there and dark. They have all sort of music playing but mostly Arabic/Turkish music.( I think..since i dont know what its saying).
