This is my VERY FAVORITE restaurant for authentic Lebanese food. The staff is lovely and hardworking, the dishes are phenomenal, and the environment is so welcoming. They also have really cool events sometimes. I remember one day I went to get some food on a whim and there was live belly dancing. Their hookah is smooth and tasty, and if you're looking for something to do before or after you stuff yourself, there's a movie theater right next door. I grew up eating Middle Eastern Food, so I know authenticity when I see it. Jasmine cafe is AUTHENTIC. Something I say is if the place does not have tahn (yogurt drink), it's not legit. Tahn was not available to order via yelp but I was able to get it in store. I got a vegetarian plate with a side of cucumber yogurt (I like to put it on top of the rice). It all tasted and looked great. The portions are large so I was able to eat left overs later as well. The staff, and location has a laid back atmosphere. There is seating inside and outside. We decided to eat in their outdoor patio. It was cold outdoors so the owner offered us hibiscus tea. It was delicious. The food arrived and the plates looked amazing. I guess this is how they treat take-out orders because they can't get sent back. Ordered a beef kabob plate, major disappointment. What I ended up getting was 1 piece of burnt bell pepper, 1 root top of a tomato, 3 halved burnt baby potatoes (1 of which I spit out), and 4 sad pieces of beef. Came here on a rainy night to order takeout and was absolutely disappointed with the quality and display of the wrap. I ordered a Gyro Wrap, Garlic Fry, and Kefta Wrap. Every dish was terrible. From the picture, the wrap came with no lettuce inside (it was thrown outside), very little sauce slathered in it, one tiny slice of tomato and 3 onion slices. As for the Kefta Wrap, the meat was undercooked. For $9, they could've at least put a bit more effort. Would never come back here again, look elsewhere. Other Mediterranean restaurants do it better. I found this place on a whim while working late night at a nursing home and was craving for something filling. I had skilled my lunch that night during work and when I finally got off, I headed over and met with Ron, who was extremely generous and nice upon meeting him.
