I got the combo beef and lamb kabob. I didn't get a good look at the sample image or see the fine print where it explains that it already comes with rice. So for my side I got rice and salad. The salad was nice and cooling, very juicy. Both the lamb and beef kabobs were nice and tender. The service felt a little slow, but only because both my friends got their food first. (Possibly because I got the kebobs not sure maybe my meat took a little longer to cook. Very chill atmosphere, friendly staff I'll come back soon

So free for a moment, Lost because I want to be lost Kefta Kabob Bowl from #GeorgiesMediterraneanCuisine

I always thought Georgie's was just good for full/on plates and pitas. I had never tried their bowls before today. And I have to say that that entree was good. The lamb bowl had been calling my name but at the last second I went with the kefta kabob bowl. Kefta, when done right, is just an easy meat to get down and just hits the spot when you don't want anything too adventurous or strong-tasting. It's also hard to mess, just like gyro meat, because it's a combination of flavors you already know and like--whether it's beef-based, chicken-based, or lamb-based. And it's paired with the perfect serving of rice. The interior remains spacious and calming as ever. There's never a huge deluge of sound carrying throughout the place. It makes it all very chill. The service was good too, if a little reserved. There really wasn't a lot of banter or checking in on you. They're just nice when taking your order, nice when they're letting you know your food's done, and just let you eat in peace. That's sometimes what you need when it's a fast casual place. With a full-service restaurant it's different. If I'm tipping I want to be served--refills, check-ins, and just general pleasantries once in awhile. But if it's just a local fast casual joint sometimes less attention is better service. Overall, this is still the classy place I remember with the chill vibes.

Yummy food! I got the chicken shawarma plate with hummus and pickled turnip. Very good value for the price, you get a lot of food. Very good flavor on the chicken, the pickled turnips were perfect. Nice staff! Family seemed like.

This is getting ridiculous. This has been my favorite Mediterranean food around but these portions are only getting worse. This plate is not worth $18

After taking care of Amazon returns at Staples, I decided to walk around the Glendora Marketplace Shopping Center. Georgie's Mediterranean Cuisine caught my eyes. I first knew about them at Haven City West Covina. I enjoyed their Chicken Kabab Plate over there so I thought I would offer my patronage and support them over here. After I walked in, the inside looked very familiar to me. I said to myself... I've been here before, but it wasn't Georgie's back then, it was a pizza place. Anyway, I walked up to the counter and placed my order for the Chicken Kabab Plate with 2 sides, Mediterranean Salad and Tabouleh Salad. It also comes with one pita bread and garlic sauce. Good chunks of chicken. Nice char to them. Flavor was on point, but they were a tad dry for my taste unfortunately. Rice was good, but not as fluffy as the other Georgie's. Pita bread plus garlic gauce together were very tasty. The highlight of my plate were the two sides... both were very delicious! The lady staff who took my order was pleasant and nice. There were 3 orders ahead of me plus to-go orders they had to fill. I waited 10-15 mins for my plate which wasn't too bad. The inside is very spacious. Good number of tables and chairs. Great place to meet up with family and friends for a nice meal. I would be back to give them another chance to WOW me.

Georgie's Mediterranean Cuisine -- Where Garlic Dreams Come True! So, I accidentally stumbled across this hidden gem... and by "accidentally," I mean my nose caught the aroma of sizzling spices and garlic floating in the parking lot like a Mediterranean love letter. Let me just say -- Georgie's is THAT place. The food? Exceptional. The flavors? A symphony. The garlic? Life-changing. The Star of the Show -- Chicken Kabab Plate ($16.99): Juicy, tender slices of marinated grilled chicken breast kissed by the flames, resting on a fluffy, golden bed of basmati rice that's lightly seasoned with subtle spices and herbs. The rice alone is so good I'd fight my own family for the last spoonful. But when you drizzle that heavenly garlic sauce on top? Instant flavor explosion. That sauce deserves its own trophy -- creamy, tangy, bold, with just enough kick to make your tastebuds dance like they're at a Lebanese wedding. My Sides: Red Cabbage Salad -- Fresh, crisp, tossed in bright lemon juice, earthy spices, and a hint of olive oil. It's the perfect zing to cut through the richness of the chicken. Spicy Hummus -- Smooth, creamy chickpeas whipped with tahini, garlic, olive oil, and a little chili magic. The warm, fluffy pita bread is basically a vessel to scoop it straight into your soul. Bonus Round -- Babaganoush & Falafel: The Babaganoush? Smoky, velvety, with that roasted eggplant goodness mingling with garlic, tahini, and lemon like they've been besties for life. The Falafel? Crispy on the outside, fluffy inside, loaded with chickpeas, parsley, cilantro, and spices... one bite and I swear I heard Aladdin's magic carpet whiz by. They're THAT good. Cleanliness: Spotless floors, gleaming tables, soda counter so clean you could practically eat off it (but don't, they'll hand you a plate). You can tell Georgie's takes pride in their kitchen and dining space -- love that. Service: Shoutout to the friendly staff -- especially the girl behind the counter who hooked me up with great recommendations. Attentive, knowledgeable, and actually cared about my experience. Rare these days! Final Thoughts: Come for the kababs, stay for the garlic sauce. Seriously, that sauce could broker world peace. Georgie's Mediterranean is serving fresh, flavorful, made-with-love food that transports you straight to the heart of the Mediterranean -- no passport required. I'll be back... probably tonight.

I decided to try this new spot today with my girlfriends for lunch. This place was a 10/10. Fresh good tasting food, I was full but couldn't stop eating.

    Hummus with Chicken Shawarma

Still my favorite Mediterranean go to! Their take out is just as good as dine in and their service is always fast and friendly! Nice quiet place with TV's to watch and good soda choices and comfortable seating! I got multiple people hooked on this place you will not be disappointed! I also eat this a lot when I have stomach issues, it seems the garlic and great quality of their proteins helps my stomach reset! They have some of the best hummus too! I always get double

Disclosure: I've enjoyed Mediterranean cuisine ever since I attended elementary school on the UCLA campus in the early '80s and would get after-school Falafels or Shawarma wraps at the eponymous Falafel King in Westwood Village. Suitably armed with 40-pls yrs of dining experience amid the vast Syrian/Lebanese diaspora, what's a common complaint that grouchy naysayers may wanna level at Mediterranean fare? "Ohh, but all they serve are chicken/beef shawarma, falafel balls and lamb gyros! Not enough varieties of protein!!" [I've fielded this complaint from my grown kids for a few years now] Well- Leave it to your enterprising and innovative Uncle Omar to solve that complaint!!! These new brisket wraps are a wondrous hybrid of Mediterranean housing (the flaky but firm Shrek wrap) and All American (B-R-I-S-K-E-T!!) filling. The caliber of the brisket is top notch. Pull apart tendrils of low and slow cooked beef, sumptuously moist but not overly wet. Well seasoned but not deluged in 'cue sauce that obscures the unctuous beefy flavor... Commingle the brisket, lovingly slow cooked for sixteen hours, with diced onions, succulent tomatoes, Persian pickles and their strong-as-a-Rocky-Balboa haymaker garlic sauce...and you've got yourself a crave-worthy, eminently edible new addition to the Family! The ambiance at Abu Omar remains nonpareil. Luminously clean prep area openly visible so the OCDs among us can see their meal lovingly prepared; Sunburnt burgundy brick walls offset by striking Route 66 imagery; Floors so clean you COULD probably get away w/ the "5 second its still edible" rule we usta summon as kids. The service etiquette of Owner Wissam Shloul and his small but devoted staff is exemplary. Great food, meticulously fabricated while you wait. Pro Tip- Need your Mediterranean fix late at night? Fuggetabout "banker's hours," Abu Omar keeps hospital or casino hours! They're open til 1am, nightly. My meal was $19.01 with taxes.

It was only a 2 minute walk from where we were so we decided to check it out. On the outside was a holiday themed drink menu and the Butter Me Up sounded like something we'd enjoy. It was a cookie butter latte which whipped cookie butter and a cookie crumble on top. It may sound very sweet but it was actually perfectly balanced and allowed the strength of the espresso to come through. The barista was very kind and patient with us. She also let us know that they were hosting a karaoke night later that day. We waited in the patio connected to the cafe for our drinks. It was a very lovely day so the sun and scenery was nice and peaceful. Definitely looking forward to another visit

Today, my friend and I ordered a Coke and an ice water and sat in the lounge area to work on assignments. The café was far from full, with only a couple of other people in the lounge and plenty of open seating available. After about an hour, the owner came over and rudely told us we were "holding two tables over a Coke" and pressured us to order more. I understand businesses need customers to make purchases, but there is a respectful way to communicate that. What made the situation worse was that after I ordered a coffee, she immediately turned to my friend and basically stared him down with a strict look, clearly expecting him to order something too. I explained that we were going to split the coffee, because we're both trying to lose weight, but she continued making the situation uncomfortable. Staring down a customer and making them feel pressured to spend more money is not how you treat paying customers. What makes this even more frustrating is that the menu is already severely overpriced for what is offered. On multiple occasions, I've heard the microwave running while food was being prepared. Paying premium prices for what appears to be microwaved food is disappointing enough without being pressured to spend even more. Even though we only ordered a Coke initially, and have only done that once before, we were still spending money. As regular customers who come here often, you would think that would be appreciated rather than criticized. Be thankful people are still choosing to spend money at your business. Honestly, after today's experience, it's no wonder this place is often empty. Customer service and hospitality matter, and making customers feel unwelcome, guilty, or pressured to spend more is a great way to drive them away. The interaction was uncomfortable enough that I asked for my food to be packed to go and left. Unfortunately, I won't be returning. It's a cafe, not a 5 star restaurant. People want to come here to work on assignments or have a coffee and talk. Even though I didn't want to spend 9 dollars on a coffee, I still purchased something. Edit from her Google response: Now you guys see what type of owner she is by her response. Truly, truly a fake person, and we always spend money coming here (now she wants to lie and manipulate since I have her attention). I always purchase a coffee and more, and I have receipts to prove it. I do not use her WiFi for free, as I am not a rude person unlike her. I don't just order a soda like this owner claims; see my receipts on my credit card. My friend and I ordered drinks and were talking and doing assignments for about half an hour (while she and her waiter came up to us like 10 times to ask us to order, even though this is a cafe), even though we said we would order later. If you're broke, just say so, lady. Trust me, at this rate, this place will close down soon. Like I said, this is a cafe where people come to have a drink, relax, talk, study, or work on assignments; not a restaurant where customers are expected to order a full meal every time they sit down. We purchased drinks, planned to order more later, and were still repeatedly approached and pressured to order. Please do yourself a favor and stop lying to the public. I did not come here four times and just use the WiFi. I paid for the WiFi with my extremely expensive and disgusting coffee and food, which is shown below in the receipts. I did not buy $2 sodas every time. The receipts I attached are from my card, but on many of the other visits my friend paid with his card and spent just as much. So trying to claim that we were sitting here for free or only ordering a soda is simply not true. Now that I have proved you wrong in front of the public, I hope everyone sees you for who you are. You are a money-hungry liar! Lastly, you are right; you're not Starbucks. Starbucks would not treat customers that way, and I'd much rather spend my money at Starbucks anyway.Glad we're on the same page!

My husband and I usually order take-out, but on our recent visit, we decided to dine in. We arrived on a Sunday evening (5pm). Parking is shared with other businesses in the plaza.
