I really wanted to like this spot because it's so close to me and at first the food was good until I found a piece of metal in my shawarma wrap while I was eating it. This is not ok, I was completely grossed out. - I want to add this was not foil.. this was metal like from a dish washing scrub
Absolutely delicious! Toastyz has amazing food with great serving sizes. If you are in the area, definitely check them out! They have a wide variety of meals to choose from, and their falafel wrap was super yummy. They offer combos with their wraps as well for an extra $5, which comes with fries & a drink! They are also open late and offer seating both inside and outside.
Came in for lunch and the owner was very friendly. I got the beef shawarma wrap, beef shawarma plate, and the combo beef and chicken plate. The food had a lot of flavor in it, but I did get a little overwhelmed with the wrap. It was just the same flavor throughout that it became too much. Idk if that makes sense. The plates are pretty pricey too, but I guess everything is nowadays.
If I could give more stars I would. My son and daughter-in-law have been raving about this local Mediterranean spot, so we finally stopped by on a weeknight and wow, it exceeded every expectation! We ordered the beef kebab plate with an extra chicken skewer, and everything was delicious. The plate was loaded with tender beef kebabs cooked to perfection. The chicken served over a bed of fresh vegetables was juicy and flavorful. The portions were generous, everything tasted fresh, and the seasonings were spot on. The service was just even better! We were greeted by Samarii (hope I'm spelling that right!) who was warm, kind, and genuinely welcoming. He gave great menu suggestions and checked on us throughout our meal. The cook was friendly as well and even shared his homemade salsa which was absolutely delicious! The red was my favorite. Between the amazing food and the outstanding service, this place is a local gem. We walked over from home and were definitely not disappointed. We will absolutely be back!
I've been meaning to try this place for a while. I got their daily special of a platter of chicken and beef skewers with sides of hummus and salad. It came with a sides of pickles and soft pita bread. They do have indoor and outdoor seating, the staff was nice and the wait time was not long.
What a great place! We were warmly greeted as we walked in. My friend ordered the beef shawarma bowl and I ordered the chicken shawarma wrap and added the combo which came with fries and a drink. There was a good amount of seating and plenty of lighting. We could see them cooking our food and they were not stingy with the portions. My wrap was packed with flavorful chicken shawarma. The fries were crispy and the garlic sauce complimented the chicken perfectly. My friend loved her beef shawarma. She said the meat was tender and flavorful. We can't wait to come back.

The two of us could barely finish our food . We loved that they had a huge variety of drinks , including a cooler of international sodas as well as refillable lemonades and sodas. We were happy to see a steady flow of customers , who all appeared to be repeat customers. There's no shortage of Mediterranean options in Glendora but Toastyz is a definite stand-out!
This place is special. Lots of restaurants serve up good food but what makes a place standout is the service. The service here is above excellence. The staff will make you feel welcome. The food is delicious. This place serves up magic. I found my go to place for Mediterranean food. Come and support and say hi to the amazing staff.

Wow is an understatement for this fine establishment. When you are craving some fresh and delicious made to order Mediterranean food make Toastyz your first and only choice. It was late and we stumbled on to this restaurant. Not expecting much since this place closes at midnight and typically places that close later don't serve delicious food because they don't need to you don't have much choice. Boy was I wrong. The staff was super friendly the portions are huge and the food was delicious I had leftovers for lunch as well. I'd definitely come back again when im in the area! I ordered the beef and chicken plate and I devoured it before taking a photo. Sorry not sorry

The main person, might've been the owner, greeted us as we walked in and recommended some plates. The location was clean and comfortable. It's not a huge restaurant, but it's well worth visiting and ordering the food. I would definitely recommend coming in and trying out their loaded plates.
The place is on the smaller side side but decent seating with 4 tables that will seat 4 at each and one larger table that will seat up to 8 people. Included one gender neutral restroom. Waited about 20 minutes with a family of 4 before us but the Lamb was amazing. The two of us shared the Lamb plate that included rice, hummus, salad and a pita. The meal came with Jalapenos and salsa that I've never had with Mediterranean food but their green salsa was sooooooo good!

My first time having falafel as I was doing a 40 day Daniel Fast (fruits and veggies only). I was impressed overall with the food and taste. Everything tasted fresh and savory. 5/5 Service & Ambiance Top notch service. We went on a Sunday afternoon and was given some fries for the kiddos. Owner came out and ask us how everything tasted. It was hot inside so we sat out front. We felt very comfortable with the service, especially when they are extremely nice about the kids. 4/5 Parking Parking spots were available but I think it may get busy during lunch or dinner rushes. I love a good Mediterranean spot and according to my fellow Yelpers, this place is it. Tony was very welcoming and kind from the start. I ordered their chicken kabob plate with rice, salad, hummus and pita. The chicken was flavorful and delicious. The only thing I wasn't too satisfied with was their hummus because it tasted a little different than what I'm used to. I know it's just pita but their pita was warm, soft and went perfect with the garlic sauce. I like when my food does not taste salty. Salad was fresh and they didn't just give me lettuce; it was filled with cucumbers, tomatoes, radish, carrots, bell peppers and this light dressing. I loved their grilled vegetables as well. I do agree, yes this place is on the pricier side but you pay for quality. Not too much ventilation inside especially when the grills are on but there's plenty of seating outside in the patio. I want to come back and try their wraps. I notice this place closes late like midnight so if you're craving Mediterranean food, this is it. read more

Came to Toasty'z for the first time today...in 2 words Great Experience! I mentioned I have some food allergies and the owner was able to accommodate. My family and I were craving Mediterranean food. It was one of these hot days, so I didn't want to run any errands. It was very easy and convenient to place my order via Uber Eats. Since I have Toastyz Mediterranean Grill bookmarked for a while, it was the perfect timing to order from this place. The order was well packed. I got the following; -Chicken Kabob Plate 5/5 The chicken kabob was very tasty and juicy. It was served with rice, salad creamy hummus and mixed pickles. Their pita bread was very fresh. - Beef Kefta kabob 5/5 kefta kabab was well seasoned, flavorful and juicy. The plate included rice, salad, hummus, pita, yogurt, salsa and mixed pickles. The portion was huge. - Mixed vegetables 5/5 It had nice portion of grilled vegetables. - French Fries 5/5 was golden and crispy from outside, and soft from inside. And for dessert, I ordered kenafeh. The kenafeh was just okay. I will pass it next time. In general, we had a nice meal. Definitely, I will go to the restaurant to try more dishes from their menu. read more

The food is really good. Everything is made to order. The wrap is filled to the brim with meat and roasted veggies. The roasted squash, peppers, and onions lend a really good smoky flavor on top of the already smoky meat. They don't skimp on the ingredients. The beef kebab loaded plate was also really good. The same roasted veggies and the beef kebab are laid on a bed of seasoned white rice. Both dishes came with a fresh side salad that you can top with the olive oil they keep at the tables. You have to eat the food fresh off the grill because the smokiness kinda goes away after a while which is to be expected. The people are really nice here. You can tell they really care about their business. The drinks are a little on the sweeter side, but they have water of course. All the drinks are self-serve which is nice. Because everything is made to order, it can take up to ten minutes for your food to come out. I think my order came out a bit faster than that, but I came pretty late in the night with fewer people waiting. They keep the place really bright and they're open pretty late which is perfect for people like me who struggle to find good food late at night that won't leave you feeling greasy after. I saw them hand forming their falafels, so I'll have to get that next time. 10/10 recommend giving them a try. read more
Came across this restaurant as I was on my way to my parents. Called the restaurant they were very friendly. I love Middle Eastern food and they had good ratings so I figured why not give them try. Is it the best I've had no but the customer service stood out which I really admire and appreciate. I asked if we could do rice and fries combo with our meat and the owner said yes. I asked for no onions on tabouleh and he also said yes and made it from scratch! They have indoor and outdoor seating! Will def recommend it to everyone read more

I had such a great experience at Toastyz Mediterranean Grill. I ordered the beef and chicken shawarma combo, and it was packed with flavor--perfectly seasoned, super tender, and the portions were generous. My mom got the chicken skewers combo, and she loved it just as much. Everything tasted fresh and homemade. The staff was friendly, the service was quick, and the whole place was clean and welcoming. You can really tell they care about quality. Definitely one of the best Mediterranean spots around. We'll be coming back for sure! read more
I stopped in last week when I decided to do a chicken kebab taste test with the family. I saw this place on my way to another Mediterranean restaurant and decided to stop in for a chicken kebab plate. The employee said they have been open for about a month now. Menu has as the usual Mediterranean offerings as other restaurants. When I received my dish, it was beautiful. I loved how he took the time to sprinkle parsley on top and arrange all the food so nicely. Of all the places I want to for kebabs, I personally liked the chicken here the best of the 3 places I went to. The seasoning was really good and had a smoky flavor. The rice was not my favorite, but they got a 10/10 for presentation! read more

Great new spot for some Mediterranean food! I've visited here 2x in a the past few weeks. Once dining in and once getting food to go! The quality of the food and portions are what make totally worth coming by! The service here is awesome. Staff are really pleasant and it feels like you're part of the family. The price point on the menu items are pretty standard nowadays, but with the amount of food and how fresh it is makes totally worth it! I've ordered the chicken loaded plate and it's packed full of food in the bowl. And it's hot and toasty when you receive it! Not to mention you get your veggies, hummus and pita bread along with the plates. Definitely add Toastyz to your list of restaurants to try and I think you'll leave happy! read more
I just did an online order I paid $128 for 3 steak plates and 1 chicken plate. The flavor was great but unfortunately I only got about half the steak because it was almost all fat. The friendly father/son tandem are serving very delicious Mediterranean food to the Glendora area folks. Nice, modern, clean place and has a lot of food options. I tried the chicken shawarma wrap and it was super tasty, meat well-marinated and tender. The owner's son also brought me hummus and baba ganoush to try. Hummus I thought was a bit salty, but baba ganoush was phenomenal -- one of the best I've ever had. The sides were accompanied by a super delicious pita bread, hot, a bit crispy, perfectly baked. All in all, a great experience and great customer service by the father and son who really take pride in their work and in their food. Will be back for more! read more

Me and my boyfriend found this place on tik tok, just to find out it was down the street from home. We came in tonight to try it out and let me tell you. ITS AMAZING!!!!! The service great, we were greeted by the son, Sameer. He made us very comfortable while we ate outside. He was awesome and welcomed us like we were guest at home. Then the food came.....AND OMGGGG. Amazing. The onions rings, the wrap, the beef & chicken plate, everything was AMAZING. This is now are new spot. We are definitely coming back. A 100/10 MUST TRY. read more
