It's been a couple of weeks since coming here, but I decided I should write about my experience. I was really excited to try this place out since there aren't that many hookah bars around the area! Unfortunately my friends and I had a pretty negative experience here and we won't be back. We were shown to our table, but then no one came to take our order for about 20 minutes. We really should have left. We finally ordered our food and hookah, and I decided I really wanted to try the knafeh. The waitress told us it would take about 45 minutes to come out because they make it fresh and I told her that was fine and she put the order in. We never got the knafeh and after an hour and a half we asked a different server if he could check on our order. He asked me what size I ordered and I told him the waitress did not ask me what size I wanted, so he started saying that if I didn't know what size I asked for then I did not order the knafeh. He kept arguing and saying I didn't order it when I know for a fact I did. He was extremely rude and argumentative. He ended up going to the kitchen and asking about it and he said that the waitress had already come to our table earlier and explained that our order was cancelled. She only came to our table twice. Once to take our order and a second time to bring our food out. Besides those two times, she NEVER came back to check on us, let alone tell us that our order was cancelled. I honestly believe that the waitress forgot to put our order in and instead of admitting to her mistake, she decided to place the blame on us. The whole experience just left a bad taste in my mouth and the male server was so rude for no reason. I am so disappointed, I really wanted to like this place. read more

My wife and I absolutely love Lemon Mint. We've tried just about every Mediterranean spot in the area, and nothing compares. It's a small, cozy place that gives off a true family vibe. The atmosphere is welcoming, the hookah is excellent (definitely try the grapefruit one), and the food is as authentic as it gets--every dish keeps you coming back for more. A couple things to keep in mind: seating is limited, so you may have to wait for a table. That said, we've never waited more than about five minutes, so it's always been worth it. Parking is easy if you use the Walgreens next door. Highly recommend Lemon Mint for anyone looking for great food, great atmosphere, and a consistently enjoyable experience. read more

Food: Authentic and fresh with a nice variety of options. Service: Wonderful. Every single staff member here wears a smile and is not afraid to share it with a good-old fashioned greeting. Ambiance: We took our food to go, however the guest seating is an ample 2 independent areas. They have a Hookah lounge on the premises as well. The food was delicious and fresh. Even to go, it was just as nice. Our only humble criticism: the cucumber yogurt salad was not as nice as we would have liked. For us, it was too runny, but then again perhaps that is their recipe. Listen, I came to Mint Lemonade a skeptic. I left a changed person, hummus stained shirt and all. Let's start with the food, because frankly, it deserves its own TED Talk. The Mediterranean spread was incredible, and the hummus? I don't know what they're doing back there, but I'm pretty sure it's illegal in at least three countries. Silky, dreamy, dangerously scoopable. I almost asked if I could bathe in it. I did not. (I thought about it.) The lamb chops were cooked beautifully -- tender, flavorful, genuinely impressive. Now, were they small? Yes. Were they tiny? I mean... let's just say I've seen bigger portions at a doll's dinner party. BUT... and this is a big but, the sides were enormous. Like, biblically large. So it all balanced out in the end, much like my dignity after my third helping of hummus. The service was warm and friendly from the moment we walked in. Our waitress was an absolute gem, attentive, cheerful, and patient with us even as we interrogated her about every single item on the order. Now. The knafeh. THE KNAFEH. We ordered it at the very start of the meal like the responsible dessert-forward adults we are. And then, plot twist... a gas line issue in the kitchen meant our beloved knafeh never made it to the table. I'd like to say I handled this with grace. I did not. I stared at the dessert menu for a full five minutes in silence. The knafeh and I were not meant to be that day. It's fine. I'm fine. But here's the thing, we're absolutely going back. After three visits it's time for a well deserved review. Simply put the food tastes good, coming from one who cooks for a hobby. The baba ganoush was smoky, right proportion of tahini to eggplant including a small unmashed eggplant, an indication it was not machine buzzed. The hummus with meat was equally impressive, soft meat and super smooth hummus. The fattoush salad, was bursting with flavors, in fact it reminded me how much my recipe deviated throughout the years, this version is spot on. The beef shawarma is another measure of authenticity regardless whether you use a spit. This one does not disappoint, the meat was soft, properly spiced, as most restaurants go light on the spices to accommodate a broader palate. Finally the kibbeh nayyeh (I don't attempt to make) was the highlight of my night with light subtle flavors. I just hope the quality remains high. I'll be there again and again. read more

We came to lemon mint in Glendora on route 66 with a big group-24 people total-around 6 PM. The welcome was amazing and the service was excellent from start to finish.. the waitresses kept checking in to make sure we were OK and had everything we needed, which we really appreciate. Like I said in my first review it is like being greeted into their home. Everyone is very friendly and checks on you several times. This time I ordered Kufta Kabab with rice and cucumber yogurt salad. My wife had Beef Fillet Kabab with rice and olive salad. Both meats were cooked and seasoned just right. Every family has that one person who seemingly "gets it" or has the talent to prepare food "fit for a king". In my family it was my Grandmother, Nevart Gayegian. Whenever the Bishop was in town, one of his stops was at my Grandmothers house for dinner. That's the way dinner was at Lemon Mint. Everything was delicious and perfectly prepared. My friend and I ordered 2 plates and we shared them between us. We had lamb chops, 3, and a refreshing yogurt and cucumber salad along with an olive salad and pita bread as one entree and the mixed grill with the same sides, mainly because I absolutely love the yogurt and cucumber jakik. I can't say enough about the grilled meats,chicken, beef and lamb as all were tender juicy and seasoned perfectly. This was honest home cooking at its finest and I look forward to returning. The service was welcoming and not rushed, politely explaining all of our questions and my friend said she wants to return and make this delightful dining experience a habit. This is also a hookah bar although we didn't partake this time, still there was no scent whatsoever coming from the hookah at all. What cannot be overlooked are the hours. OPEN TILL 1 AM.
