My go combo is the D11. Chicken Fingers, Boneless Spareribs, Beef Teriyaki, and Pork Fried Rice. This combination is a perfect balance of pork, beef, and chicken. The ribs are meaty and have a perfect sweet to salt balance. The beef teriyaki is well done and pairs well with the pork fried rice. The highlight for me is the moist, meaty chicken fingers. The meat is seasoned as well as the batter is too. The pork fried rice brings everything together as I take a scoop of rice with every bite of meat. LoL!!!! Now, if you know what's good for you, make sure to get the Duck Sauce. One thing about the Chinese food in Boston is the Duck Sauce. It's sweet and provides an added flavor profile to everything on the plate. Also, regardless of what you order, the duck sauce will always make it taste even better. LoL!!! The ambiance is very take-out suggestive and the lighting is slightly dim, but not in a romantic way... After a few minutes, my food was ready and my order was called. From the moment I took ownership of the bag I was excited. The smells that were coming out of the bag were amazing. I could literally smell my entire order and it had my mouth watering. I've eaten hundreds if not thousands of egg rolls in my lifetime and never before have I tasted an egg roll that had this sugary taste to it. Not sweet but like someone doused it with sugar before cooking it. Not a good taste sensation either. The General Gau's Chicken had dark meat which I am not a fan of. It also looked and tasted more like pork than chicken and had this funky taste to it that did not enhance it good. Thankfully it was not very spicy. The pork fried rice had lots of pork but the rice tasted very bland. It only had one slice of Mushroom and one slice of onion. No egg bits. No bean sprouts no anything that usually makes the rice taste better. It looked like it was the bottom of the barrel; which considering it was an hour before they closed it probably was. I struggled to eat about 1/8 of my meal then threw it away. We also got Lo Mein and that was also bland as heck. The chicken in our sweet and sour hid in the mass of breading (maybe it was scared) - it's a shame because we only had a hint of flavor. My broccoli was more friendly -- cooked well but drowned a bit in the brown sauce. I was also searching for some larger chunks of pork or vegetables in my fried rice to enhance the flavor. There you have it -- tradition, community, gentleness -- they are doing the chopstick proud. Hoping next time they can make a few tweaks in the kitchen and bring some excitement to my chopsticks.

We were a little hesitant about the crab rangoons with cranberry sauce, but they shocked us with how complimentary the flavor was.
