My son ordered all the things!

This was a great place for the whole family. The pictures on the menu helped my son get just what he wanted and he loved it (a beef hoisin dish, pho, edamame, and Thai rolls...and pink milk). The gal who served us was quick and friendly. My son even remarked in the metal cups and serving trays. We'll definitely be back!

I used to order takeout from Thai Noodle Bar at least once a week when I worked down the street. When I used to order frequently from here, it was always takeout because they didn't have seating option, after Covid lockdown. I dined in here recently for the first time & their food is delicious! As usual whenever we go for Thai, we ordered thai iced teas to start. We got the chicken satay appetizer & it was juicy + the sauces included complimented the chicken well. For entrees, we got the crispy chicken basil fried rice and grilled pork with sticky rice. The crispy chicken was hot and crispy & the basil fried rice had a nice kick to it that was addicting... SO GOOD!! I loved the grilled pork with sticky rice. Great flavor and pork was not dry at all. Thai iced tea: 9/10 Chicken Satay: 8.5/10 Crispy chicken basil fried rice: 10/10 Grilled pork w/ sticky rice: 10/10 The workers here are also super sweet & the food came out fast. Highly recommend Thai Noodle Bar to anyone looking for authentic, always yummy, & consistent thai food!

Tiny place but they do have seating. The food came out extremely quickly. The service was good - made substitutions as requested. The noodle dishes were way too sweet for my taste. There's a parking lot, so parking was not an issue.

Crazy noodle with crispy chicken -flavors like pad kee mow- lots of basil and tangyness. This dish is on the saltier side. They need to chill on the seasonings. Chicken is crispy. Comes with peppers, mini corn and sliced carrots with a side of sweet and sour sauce. Bbq pork -tender, savory and sweet. The bbq pork skewer is good. Best part of the meal.

This place is a perfect lowkey joint for solid Thai food. It's nothing fancy or upscale but it's one of the better panang curries I've had, and the crispy chicken was so good. The food came out extremely fast (definitely less than 10 min). We also got the pad thai which was ok, and built our own from the noodle bar (really recommend the chili basil sauce). There's a few tables inside that can fit 2-4 people but I think it's primarily a takeout joint.

Great place, deserves every star. Small unassuming place but serves up great food for very reasonable prices. Pineapple fried rice, excellent curry flavor, big pieces of shrimp and abundance veggies and protein. Garlic duck stirfry. Hearty cuts of veggies and duck, excellent flavor. Could be more garlic but I'm Italian so that's just a general feeling. Crab Rangoon. Best I've had in a long while. Wonderful flavor, slightly sweet, very creamy. Perfectly fried, not greasy. Thai iced tea. Delicious, not overly sweet. I cannot emphasis how many average Thai restaurants I've been to. This one is not average, they really shows their care for good quality food and their customers. I also will note that their Covid protocol made me feel very safe with a plastic screen and hand sanitizer available as well as the service person wiping everything down on the machines when used by customer.

It been ages that I ordered from here. I ordered through Uber Eat with a 50% discount. I ordered the BBQ pork as appetizers. The meat was juicy and the sweet & sour sauce added more flavor to the pork they marinated. For the main plate, I ordered the pad woonseen and crispy chicken fried rice. The pad woonseen was stir-fried vermicelli noodles. This was a little bland compared to the place that I usually ordered. I chose shrimp for the pad woonseen which the shrimp was small but still fresh. The crispy chicken fried rice was a little disappointed. The fried chicken wasn't dried and not juicy, the crispy are falling apart, basically eating cooked chicken breast without the crispy. For the price, $22.86 for three items, I can't complained much.

Totally incongruous with the surrounding environment. Walked in... nothing fancy. Maybe 5 tables. The food was just not good. I had the big wonton soup ( the one with all the extras ). I ate a few bites and left the rest. I also ordered the boneless spare ribs. They had a nice cook to them. Nice color. Nice charing. But... just not flavorful, and dry. Very dry. Both the noodle soup and regular "dry" noodles had a great taste that doesn't go into the "too much going on" territory. I had 3 dishes here but will definitely go back to try others. Water is self-serve from a container near the register. Service: is ok. You'll get served eventually. I'm definitely here more for the food than service. It's a little confusing because the menu took a bit to come out to the table, so I didn't know if there was some other process. There's a QR code on the table but it looked more like delivery and was pretty much all in Chinese (don't know which one). Ambiance: chill spot. It's small, nothing fancy at all, but still clean. It's not winning awards but it's not affecting my enjoyment. Parking: side streets that look residential have plenty of spots within a short walk. Other: for the noodle soup, they have those really flimsy plastic spoons that bend easy. I'd honestly bring my own soup spoon next time. That wasn't very cool.

The noodles themselves are perfectly executed and have that amazing bite to them, but unfortunately, the sauce left a little to be desired. Even ordering them with just a "little spice," the flavor profile relies heavily on pure capsaicin heat rather than a deeply seasoned, complex sauce. The popcorn chicken was delicious though. It arrived fresh, piping hot, incredibly crispy, and perfectly seasoned--plus, it provided a much-needed palate cleanser to cool down from the noodle heat! The shop itself is clean and typical of a quick, no-frills, grab-and-go Asian restaurant. While the staff has limited English, they are incredibly sweet, patient, and welcoming. If I were having an intense craving for wide noodles I'd pop back in, but otherwise, there are a few better, more flavorful options in the area for Chinese-style noodles.

The speakers played 80s hip hop. The place is lively to say the least. We had the duck salad, mussels (ask for an extra order of charred bread WHEN you order--needed to sop up the delicious sauce). It took 15 minutes for extra bread when I realized the two pieces weren't enough. We also tried the beef cheek fried rice, short rib (amazing) and the crawfish noodles. The rice and noodles had fish roe throughout which made for a delightful mouth feel. My date had the lychee martini. I had the lychee mocktail, which was delicious. For dessert, we shared a slice of avocado cheesecake! Odd but totally delicious with a cookie-like crust and ribbon of brown butter buttercream. Chef's kiss all around. Loved our server, but even she apologized for abandoning us for a bit. The place was slammed!

We ordered a rice roll as usual--the female owner accidentally handed the dish to another table, and it sat there for about five minutes or so, while the couple was talking over the dish. Then the female owner apparently realized the dish was handed to the wrong table, she took it back into the kitchen (as a deception, thinking we wouldn't realize it's the same dish, we saw her through the curtain, she was holding the same dish the whole time--she didn't know we were watching and rightfully suspicious of what she was sneakily doing), then brought it out right back to our table. We did not want to say anything. But it was disgusting, people do spit onto the dish when they talk over it during those five minutes, you know? We were too shy to cause a scene or destroy the long standing relationship. Further, we couldn't afford to let that $12 or so dish go to waste. So we tried eating it. Afterward, we felt so disgusted. And that was the last time we went to Big Fun Cafe. Two years or so ago. Even after learning of its new location in Brookline, we are just so disgusted by the memory of the incident described above -- so we never tried their Brookline location. Note to the owners: for future customers, such mistakes do happen, but please have some integrity and just discard/trash the contaminated dish -- or if you want to be so cheap, eat the contaminated dishes yourself. Don't be so stingy and deceptive so as to hand it to your presumed naive customers. That was extremely disgusting and even two years later, we're still disgusted by it.
