Ordered Take out for Dinner and it certainly did not Disappoint! The food was fresh and very flavorful!

Very different for my first time here. Was recommended by one of my nurses that I work with. The fried rice is not your typical dark looking like it's been drenched in soy sauce. More so a yellow rice (Spanish rice kind of). I opted for the vegetable fried rice with my chicken wings and boneless spareribs. This review is based on what I ordered. The wings were very good. Mind you I got it for delivery so it's been out for 45 minutes. It was still crispy kind of when it arrived. Very disappointed in my boneless spare ribs. It looked like they collected all the scraps from the end of the cutting board and gave it to me lol the vegetable fried rice had broccoli and lettuce along with onions and bean sprouts. The lettuce and broccoli definitely threw me off lol Overall, I would come back and probably pick it up myself so it'll be fresh. Definitely get regular pork fried rice and not vegetable lol read more

The egg rolls are absolutely delicious! They're a little different than most Chinese egg rolls I've had, but I think they're better! I don't typically like any kind of Chinese rice or any race for that matter, their rice was so good! I got the veggie fried rice. My son got some kind of seafood vegetable dish and he absolutely loved it he couldn't stop raving about it. We both love the crab rangoons as well. I'm not a big Chinese foodie, I prefer Thai, but hands down this is the best Chinese food restaurant in Randolph and I'll even venture to say in its surrounding suburbs. The food is always hot and tastes fresh and flavorful. I love that they have hot oil. Not many Chinese restaurants have hot oil, and if they do, they do not make it known. The delivery staff have also been pleasant. Usually with a lot of similar restaurants, you're greeted with a scrunched face rather than a smile and expect to be tipped, but the staff her make it easy for you to want to tip them. Overall, I recommend this place if you're in the area. Side note: their crab rangoon is AMAZING and onionless! (I hate onions in my crab rangoon lol) read more

Don't know about the quality of their Chinese food, but their rolls suck. They are falling apart, they look absolutely unattractive and what's more important there is almost no salmon in Philadelphia roll. Disappointed. BEST CHINESE RESTAURANT IN HOLBROOK/RANDOLPH AREA. Bamboo Moon has come through on many different occasions. There is no weakness to this Chinese restaurant. Although the location is a little tough on parking and a little small, the service is outstanding. The food here is unmatched by any other Chinese restaurant in the area. My personal favorite, the orange chicken and white rice, is the best I've ever had. Similarly, the dumplings are delicious. The variety in the menu is impressive. Not only is it a Chinese restaurant, but they also offer Japanese food, and sushi. The wait for food is not long at all. It is a good place to stop for a lunch break. Cost is not that much of an issue either. The food is relatively cheap, but tastes so good at the same time. I have nothing but good things to say about Bamboo Moon. read more

Fried food ordered was half soggy and half crispy, fried rice was bland, and didn't even give utensils. This was my third time here and I was slightly disappointed. This time I got the Pad Thai and it wasn't my favorite. I've had my fair share of Pad Thai and this dish was very citrus based, which was weird for me. It is definitely a good dish, but not what I was expecting. I also got the chicken fingers this time. They were great for their price point. I really enjoyed them. I may be a tad biased because I probably like all chicken fingers. They are a true guilty pleasure. I will say I've had the sushi and it was great. They have plenty of roll options. You can watch them make them the rolls. The staff is very friendly. And their service is super quick. The overall experience is normally great. I would give them 4 stars, but I'm taking one away for the Pad Thai, while it wasn't a completely terrible taste experience it truly was not what I was expecting. Let truth be told, you could find me here pretty much every week. Bamboo Moon, in which the name itself I'm a big fan of, does very well in the quick tasty food department. My normal that I can't get away from but do stray sometimes is the Chicken Teriyaki & the great Vegetable Dragon Maki in which I can eat a great amount If my metabolism was young again. I always get take out but there is seating just incase you can't wait, and the tables/establishment is clean which is something to be said vs other places I've been to. The owner (I don't want to misspell the name) is undeniably cool, as well as the few staff I've come across which makes a great "come back again" atmosphere. Last, prices are pretty good and will find something within your price range. Tip the store, say hello, and take care of your stomach's needs. read more

Got a job near by and came back for their lunch specials. Was pretty decent this time. Got the kung pao chicken lunch with the crab rangoon. The fried rice was a little dry, but i loved their version of kung pao chicken. Plenty of peanuts and veggies to go along with their chicken. The sauce was pretty good too, though i asked for it to be medium spicy but it wasn't as spicy as i thought it'd be. But thats ok, a lot of different restaurants spice label is different. The crab rangoon was ok. It seems over friend and not enough filling, but it tasted great none the less. This hits the spot for cheap chinese carry out. We ordered take out and were told 20 minutes. We arrived to pick up our food about 25 minutes later and waited for 25 minutes in the restaurant. Much too long for what is supposed to be a fast place to pick up some dinner. The food is incredibly greasy. I poured nearly a half a cup of oil out of my container of Egg Foo Young. The General Gau's was also very greasy - though I couldn't pour oil off in the same way - must have ingested it all, whomp, whomp! When I called to let them know I thought it was incorrect she told me no it was correct (even though the item description was completely opposite). Very disappointed. Called the order in. woman on the phone was friendly and accommodating with my questions. ordered a chicken with broccoli with white sauce instead of the normal dark sauce which also came with a small white rice. large fried wings, a large order of fried green plantains. The order was done as ordered and the food was surprisingly good for a take out. I ordered for delivery and it came at a reasonible time. I got crab rangoon and the seafood soup as an appetizer and they both were pretty good. For the main course I got, shrimp lo mein, pork fried rice, orange chicken, salt and pepper pork chop and chicken broccoli. They all were pretty good except for the salt and pepper pork chops... it was soo dry and no taste at all. I was dissappointed because everything else was pretty good. I also got sushi and I don't like it at all. I'm a sushi lover so I have high expectations when it comes to fresh and great tasting sushi which this place did not achieve. We ordered take out from Oriental Gourmet for the first time and it was very good!! We ordered chicken on a stick, chicken fried rice, lobster sauce and some peking ravioli that is not even on the menu that they gladly made up for us. Everything was extremely hot and very fresh. They also offered a free soda to my Husband when he picked it up..But, he chose to have some iced tea instead. I thought that was a great touch. I love that their menu is not like the old restaurants menu. It was very difficult to read. This one is excellent! We'll definitely be back again. i don't eat Chinese food too often..But, I'll make this my new to-go place for sure. The only thing they didn't have in the to-go bag was any duck sauce..I'm not sure if they forgot it or if you actually have to ask for it..I'll have to remember to ask for it the next time!! Love this place! I work only a few minutes away and would head over this place during lunch time if I'm craving for California Maki... which is the best! Usually I will buy two orders of California Maki with a side of soup (egg drop or Miso). Soup is okay but not exciting. Soup is soup. The California Maki are just awesome. I would attempt to try other sushi but my heart belongs to the California Maki. They make it big and the presentation in the plastic tray is cute. Worth the $5 for each order. Oh say YES to sauce and add those "crunchy" toppings. The reataurant is always clean. The people behind the counter are super nice and welcome you once you walk in. If you spend over $20 you will be treated with a free drink (lemonade and ice tea) which I usually get one since I order with a coworker. I don't usually call ahead for my order. I just like to sit down and wait for my food to be made fresh. One of these days I will try other food in this place. My only fear will be getting food coma at work if I order the other food plates. read more
