If I can give this place 0 stars I would. The food was not good at all. We came as a family and ordered $200 worth of food. The food looked really good but don't let the picture fool you. The meat was ROTTEN. My whole family agreed that nothing of the meat platter was even remotely edible. I went and discussed with the manager who then gave us 20% off our bill. And someone might say isn't that enough? No! Because I came for a service I did not receive. The side plates that came with the food was also either very average to low quality. I would go to any other restaurant in the area to be honest. The ambiance is also really poor with hookah smells all over. I would definitely not come back again.

I love this place so much. I've never had a bad experience. The service is excellent. The food is incredible. The hookah is great. Make sure to order the mint lime slushie and the foul here is incredible. Can't wait to return!

The restaurant is a favorite place of mine to eat in Dallas area. We like to share a tea and foods from each other items. We typically strike luck by eating at the buffet which has plenty of great options. Would recommend the restaurant for curious and open-minded for Mediterranean foods. Furthermore, the store receives my 5 stars for their options of Mediterranean dishes and ingredients to make such. Try buying the large naan and bringing to parties!

Second time coming to this place, and the service and food never disappoint. Love the atmosphere and the food is so delicious. Wonderfully welcoming staff. The dressing in the fatoush is out of this world!!!!

Youngling and the yummies! Tabuleh, hummus and mango refreshment!!! NOM NOM!

Richardson has a particularly dense Middle East/ Mediterranean restaurant and business scene. So it can be a daunting task to find a place that's all around solid. Well travelers, look no further! Jasmine Market & Cafe delivers, solid food, welcoming staff, clean place ... and did I mention the food!?!?! Any place that is baking fresh pita on site is already on the side of the angels in my book! I was able to entice Herself (my better half) and the youngling into trying Tabuleh again, it had been a while. Let me tell ya, they went flippy over the moon for it and couldn't get enough! The hummus, shawarma and all the usual mid-East supporting menu cast are present and represented well! The hookah lounge area is by far my fave. You get a sense of the very different pace of the middle eastern and European dinning. Not being constantly hounded every 90 seconds, not being rushed a bill and expected to move it along, no. In fact, this is the kind of place one might linger, drink tea, coffee, smoke (hookah, cigarettes etc) and it's very relaxing. Not to say that staff aren't attentive, just not hovering. I likey. The attached market is AMPLY supplied with all the staples and well staffed to get you whatever you may need to prepare your next favorite middle eastern meal. Our experience was very enjoyable and we will be returning!

Our hotel recommended Jasmin Cafe as they said many of their guests gave high praises for the Middle Eastern restaurant. What a great Meal!. The babaganosh was great especially with the fresh hot pita bread. The lamb chops were cooked medium rare and seasoned very well. 2 sides come with each plate dinner and the potions are large.Great Service. This restaurant was a real find.

The chicken I ate was raw. I showed it to the waiter and he said nothing.

I came to breakfast today and my chicken was raw. I told the waiter and he didn't give much of a response. We paid $41 for 2 people to eat buffet breakfast and tea. I am pregnant and that plays a big health risk. Other than that the food was ok.

Afrah is THE place to be for Mediterranean food - before Greenville Ave became Arab central, before there was anyone, there was Afrah. A beautiful, airy restaurant with gorgeous seating, a bustling dessert case, ice cream center and so many treats to offer under one roof. Afrah is to the Muslim community in Richardson as a glove is to a hand. It truly is a one stop shop for all your nostalgic cravings, and it would be a grave injustice on my part if I didn't stop by here and sing praise to one of the most loved Mediterranean restaurants in the DFW area. We visited here recently for an iftar buffet experience and were very very happy with the food we got. The buffet line was running smoothly, from staff working diligently to hand everyone a tray with napkins, plates and cutlery already set for you. Waiters were going around the massive dining hall clearing plates, making sure everyone had what they needed, seating patrons and asking if everything tasted good. This establishment runs like a literal well oiled machine and I am so impressed. The food was as always out of this world. Carefully prepared menu that satisfies everyone's taste buds. A good selection of classic cold appetizers like the baba ghanoush, hummus, and variety of salads. Always including something unique for a typical Middle Eastern flare. Hot lentil soup available with bowls carefully placed in the vicinity. So many different types of kebabs and freshly made hot pita bread being replaced like clockwork. The buffet had many of my favorite classics like Shawarma meat, beef kebab, chicken kebab. Lamb, chicken stew, baked chicken, everything was present in abundance. They even had salmon which I deeply appreciated as a seafood lover. My only complaint is the food wasn't hot enough which can be annoying with a buffet that is serving so many people during a busy time like Ramadan. Everything tasted absolutely phenomenal and when I returned for dessert, I was greeted with six different types of sweets from all over the world. That's the thing about this place. There's always something for everybody. The dining hall was bustling with not just Muslim patrons, but also a lot of American white patrons who equally enjoy the food here as much as we do. Inclusions of dishes like shrimp pasta, fried fish, chocolate mousse, and other fan favorites is a humble nod to non-Arab customers who love to frequent this place as much as we do. If you are looking for a quality Mediterranean experience look no further than this long-standing Mediterranean Haven. Thank you for nourishing the community.

This spot is BYOB, which would have been great had we known in advance, but it's a nice perk for an after-hours spot. We paid $20 to get in, which didn't seem too bad. However, if you plan to fully enjoy the experience, you need to get a section. Here's where things went south with ABI. A young man invited us to join his section that he had already paid for, which was cool. But then, the waitress told him he couldn't have any more guests, right in front of us, and said, "If you want to sit here, you have to pay me $20 each." Wait, what? The guy asked why we were being charged when he had already paid for the section. It was literally him and his homeboy. She repeated it, and security came over to back her up. It felt like we were being hustled. To make matters worse, this was after I had already ordered hookah. If we didn't pay, we wouldn't have had a place to smoke it. So, we ended up paying an extra $40 on top of the $50 for the hookah, which just didn't sit right with me. They also had people walking around taking pictures, then harassing you to buy them. Honestly, the whole night felt like the staff was just trying to hustle us. Since we were out of town, we paid the price, but be cautious about the workers trying to make extra money through some questionable tactics. DJ was good. A mix between Hip Hop, Rap, R&B and afro beats. Would I recommend this place? Not because of the experience we had. It just felt unnecessary and shady to me.

Security is strongly enforced here so please don't play around. There is a $20 cover fee just to get in the door. Hookah for two will be $20 minimum. There has been plenty of renovations to the inside and there is many colorful lights. Atmosphere is mainly hip hop, R&b, and afrobeats. There is food available which is below decent bar food. Spacious venue and they also have a pool table and dance floor. Is nice vibe in Richardson .
