I visited recently to try the offerings in the Cafe'. I walked through the market and found super fresh produce, dairy, meat, seasoning and spices, pickles, household goods and fragrances. It was a great experience to see items I've never seen before. They also sell the famous 'Dubai Chocolate Bar here as well. Now, the food in the cafe' was outstanding . The staff was amazing. You can enjoy the buffet, or you can order off the menu. Either way, the food is delicious. read more

Have been coming to Jasmine for like 15 years through some ownership and location changes. The thing that most sets Jasmine apart is that they do not serve complimentary water. Family of 4 coming for dinner and everyone wants water? That will be $8. What?! We went with 2. The family sitting next to us looked disappointed when they were told and decided to skip water. What kind of person goes into the restaurant business and then is content to see people not get to drink freaking WATER with their dinner because they don't have another $8 to spend? Water is Al-Mubahat Al-Ammah, a gift to us all from Allah. It should not be a way to make an extra buck. An $8 serving of hummus comes with a single, solitary piece of pita bread that is guaranteed to require more bread to finish. You'll of course be paying more for that bread too. Just charge $10 and serve the complete appetizer including enough bread maybe...but at $1 I guess it's not a big deal. The service is fairly slow. If there's anything needed for my hookah or I need something else with my dinner I have to usually flag people down; it's fairly rare that they will come check on me around the time that it's needed. That all said, the food is delicious and they make the best hookahs anywhere. The hookah science is nearly perfect with high quality tobacco and EXCELLENT heat management and charcoals. They need to start checking when someone calls and reports that somebody has used a credit card that is stolen there. Back in Feb 2024 a lady in Richardson walked there with a stolen card, got stuff and left, the card owner realized that called the shop and informed someone, guess what she never bothered to tell the manager and they never looked into it or gave the person a call back, based on that experience I wouldn't recommend them at all! read more

I'm shocked that this place isn't rated higher. My family and I have come here countless times, and the food has always been great. I've done the buffet and ordered a la carte, they've been very accommodating towards my allergies and answer all my questions regarding ingredients used in various dishes. I think this place is very kid friendly, and large group friendly, everyone can find something on the menu. My favorites are the grill platter with the kebabs, shawarmas, and falafel plate (the best in DFW, absolutely must try it!). I really enjoyed the weekend buffet as well, and the price was great at $15 ish/person. My husband really likes getting the mint tea here as well. We've also taken food to go numerous times, no issues and it's always been prepared well. I also love the attached grocery store, especially when they get in fresh goods from Palestine. During Ramadan, we picked up amazing dates, they must've had about 20 different varieties from all over the Middle East and North Africa. The meat here is also good, no complaints. Overall, this is our preferred place to go to for a quick meal and large group gatherings, and getting groceries if we are in the area. read more

If I can give this place 0 stars I would. The food was not good at all. We came as a family and ordered $200 worth of food. The food looked really good but don't let the picture fool you. The meat was ROTTEN. My whole family agreed that nothing of the meat platter was even remotely edible. I went and discussed with the manager who then gave us 20% off our bill. And someone might say isn't that enough? No! Because I came for a service I did not receive. The side plates that came with the food was also either very average to low quality. My husband and I visited Jasmine Market, while visiting family in Dallas last Ramadan, and we were so amazed. My husband called family back home in California to show them how much they had to offer. We were especially amazed by the meat selection. We have nothing like this in the Bay Area. The store was very clean and well organized. The employees were kind and friendly. Richardson has a particularly dense Middle East/ Mediterranean restaurant and business scene. So it can be a daunting task to find a place that's all around solid. Well travelers, look no further! Jasmine Market & Cafe delivers, solid food, welcoming staff, clean place ... and did I mention the food!?!?! Any place that is baking fresh pita on site is already on the side of the angels in my book! I was able to entice Herself (my better half) and the youngling into trying Tabuleh again, it had been a while. Let me tell ya, they went flippy over the moon for it and couldn't get enough! The hummus, shawarma and all the usual mid-East supporting menu cast are present and represented well! The hookah lounge area is by far my fave. You get a sense of the very different pace of the middle eastern and European dinning. Not being constantly hounded every 90 seconds, not being rushed a bill and expected to move it along, no. In fact, this is the kind of place one might linger, drink tea, coffee, smoke (hookah, cigarettes etc) and it's very relaxing. Not to say that staff aren't attentive, just not hovering. I likey. I purchased a box of soup (freekah) from this store a while back, and when I opened it, it was bad (the expiration date is in 2026). I requested a refund for the product or a store credit, as most stores do in the United States, but to my surprise, the manager denied my request! I used to shop at this store more frequently, but I no longer do because they do not care about their customers, in contrast to the grocery store next door, which does. She hoped us pick food from and menu and also helped us to decide on what hookah flavors she recommends. She was super attentive and did not rush us even though we stayed a while after our food was done. My friends and I have been going to Jasmine Hookah for years and I really don't get all the bad reviews. The staff is really laid back and they have really yummy food options, it's a little better than bar food, but it's NOT a restaurant. It's a place to crash on a couch, hang out with your friends and enjoy a hookah. Some nights they have "happy hour prices" which are incredible! I don't go often enough to identify a pattern but you can get some great choices there for not a lot of money and their hookahs are great! read more

I have driven by this spot so many times. My cousin and I decided to drop by. He had been then before and raved about it. I can see why! The food was delicious I I had the spicy chicken it came with rice and two sides. My eyes got bigger than my stomach, along with Hummus, French fries and the hot pita bread. The server was charming and so nice. That will always bring you back to a place. The decor and the mural on the wall reminded me of my trip to Israel.
