We arrived late into town and needed a place to find a decent dinner. After checking the yelp ratings for Asian American restaurants we decided on going to Jasmine Thai cuisine. They were shorthanded on staff, but the staff that was there did an excellent job serving us. After our orders, each of the individual dishes and appetizers were well received looked great and tasted excellent. We would highly recommend this location for a quick meal! Went here on a Sunday afternoon with some friends. I got the Thai iced tea and green curry. I got it mild and it definitely don't have any spice. I would've liked a bit more but you never know what the level will be! Thai iced tea was delicious and went down quickly! 1 star for attentive friendly service 1 star for a clean and pleasant atmosphere 1 star for good prices But the food, it is not great. It is clearly for people with little exposure to good Thai. Drunken noodles should be caramelized and not greasy. Massaman curry should not be as thin as broth. Also, the spiciness scale is not like more authentic places, add a star or two from what you normally do. Luckily, I live somewhere with many better options. read more

What a great place for Thai food. Everything was so tasty. The fresh shrimp rolls were excellent. The pad see ew was very flavorful and loaded with beef. The yellow curry was terrific and had a lot of coconut milk. Service is good. The food came at a good pace, and they checked in with us a couple of times. This is a casual restaurant with lots of tables. We had an early dinner on a weeknight and only a couple of tables were taken. While we were there, many people came in to pick up their orders. Came here with a friend for lunch, its gone through new management since I was here last; their fresh rice rolls are very good with the tasty peanut sauce, I ordered their pad-see-ew and my friend ordered the pad-soon-sen. Both were good, but not great IMO. I think this may be the best it can be in Twin Falls so I would come back here, especially for their fresh rice rolls! Don't let the location on a Main Street fool you! This is one of those "hole in the wall" places that you rarely find with such quality food! The chef does an amazing job with the cooking here. So good you may end up visiting here more than once a week. There should be a warning sign advising you of possible Thai food addiction! If you live in Twin Falls, this is what you have as an option, and I have certainly had worse. But let's be clear, this doesn't look or taste much like Thai food. The soup tastes distinctly of bullion cubes (i.e. instant stock--not a good place to start from) and the so-called "Thai hot" pepper level (which should burn your lips off) is barely noticeable. The rare beef salad was swimming in a tasteless "dressing" and the beef was well-done and tough as nails. In sum, nothing here is terrible (as in, I've had Thai food that is offensive, this is not), but it's not particularly good either. But if you are coming in from a long drive and don't want something heavy, it'll do in a pinch. Just keep the expectations very low. read more

The inside was nice. Small tables for two, and tables in the back for larger parties. The service was great. The food authentic! We got a chicken larb, a papaya salad made with padek, massaman curry, and pineapple curry. I asked if they had a specific item to add to the papaya salad. The owner came out and said she had it. No cap, this place is bussin! They give you multiple different levels of spicy. The food came out quick. It was fantastic. The food was hot, and flavorful. Recently wound up on a restricted diet and this is one of the few places I can eat most of what is on the menu. The pumpkin curry with shrimp is to die for. My son loves the beef pho. I have this thing, where I look up Thai and Vietnamese food wherever I go. If I can find shrimp spring rolls and Báhn Mì, I'm soooo there. So on a recent trip to Twin Falls from Elko, I did just that! It makes my heart sad that Elko doesn't have any Thai or Vietnamese food, but so glad that Jasmine has spring rolls!! So off we went to Jasmine. Walking in smelled amazing! All the coconut curries and peanut sauces and sizzling meats in the air! We were sat immediately and our drinks brought out quickly. I ordered a Thai tea with boba and it came in a cute mason jar cup. My boyfriend chose something else for his lunch so this was alllll me! I got spring rolls and pad Thai. I do have to say I was sad they didn't have any Bahn Mì and after looking on Yelp, only one place in town has them. So Jasmine would benefit from having them in their menu! I told the guy at the register about them and he got super excited and wrote down the name of them so maybe we'll see them on the menu in the future!!!!! The spring rolls came out quickly. The peanut sauce was a bit thick for my preference but it was still delicious. They had mint inside which I've never tried before and I did like it although it was a bit powerful. They were fresh and thick and everything I wanted!! I ordered the Pad Thai medium spicy and it was on point!!! Not too spicy but just right. The peanuts, bean sprouts and lime all came together wonderfully with their saucy noodles and it was truly fantastic! I got super full on the spring rolls and didn't eat a ton of my Pad Thai ( planning on taking it home in my cooler) when the waitress asked me if it was all ok. It was nice of her to check on me and make sure I liked it, something tells me she would have changed it for something else if I didn't. But it was AWESOME! My wife's brother was visiting from CA.. We drove over from the Treasure Valley to visit Shoshone Falls and came here for lunch based on the Yelp reviews. We came the day after the 4th of July holiday. It was about 2 pm and there was only one other person dining. Our server was very nice and took good care of us. They gave us generous amounts of food, with extra cutlery so we can eat comfortably as we drove. Food was ready rather quickly. They have lots of parking in their lot, so parking was no issue. Heading home to California from West Yellowstone we stay overnight in Twin Falls. We have been eating heavy on vacation so I wanted something lite. I found this restaurant on Yelp. The food wasn't bad. I come from Cali where Thai food especially in the Bay Area is legit. Also have been to Thailand itself where I have tied and tasted a multitude of Thai dishes. Basically im a professional. Start from the bad where I gave it a 4 instead of a 5, the Tom Yum soup. Super bland, not that good, not authentic, but the effort is there. Service is like a nice authentic cafeteria style where they just give you the food and you ask for plates spoons etc. Now the best for last, you got to try their Pad Thai and Basil Duck. Pad Thai is average but man their DUCK is real duck! Best duck in the US by far. Only comes before Thailand Duck. That's how good of a duck it is. Tender, crispy, juicy, etc. The dish is Basil Duck. So overall, for Idaho standards not bad, people say it's the best they ever had. It's not really but it's a good takeout, sit in restaurant in general. read more

Yesterday we dined here for the first time, recommended by our friends. I'm hesitant with new places for Asian food as we've been disappointed by many here locally. We waited a while for our food, but signs as we walked in let us know they are short staffed and to be aware of a longer wait. The food was amazing. A small, unassuming Thai restaurant in a seemingly random spot of downtown Twin Falls with solid food and great service. I was driving through town with my parents, and we were really craving some Thai food. The middle of Idaho may not be the first place I would think to find amazing Southeast Asian cuisine, but Jasmine Thai definitely delivered. We arrived at an off-hour (around 5 PM on a weekday), so we were one of only two parties at the restaurant. We were seated immediately, and the staff was incredibly attentive and kind. We started off our meal with a delicious papaya salad, which will forever be one of my favorites, and they were incredibly helpful and accommodating of my peanut allergy. We then each ordered an entree and split the three amongst us -- we tried out the ginger and mushroom with shrimp, broccoli oyster sauce with the seafood combo, and sweet and sour with beef. I wasn't able to eat the beef dish, but I thoroughly enjoyed both seafood dishes! The incredible aroma of ginger came through really strongly in the mushroom and ginger stir-fry, and you can never go wrong with broccoli and oyster sauce. The vegetables were perfectly cooked, maintaining a bit of their crunch while still soaking up the super flavorful stir-fry sauces. The staff was also incredibly kind. The chef herself came out a few times to check on us and chat with us (and to personally confirm my dietary restrictions), which I really appreciated. I don't usually leave a review, this is the best place we ever had so I had to. We traveled all the way from West coast and stopped by for Shoshone falls on our way to Yellowstone. We trusted yelp and came down here to try this place for a nice dinner after a long drive. This is the cleanest restaurant we ever been to and of course amazing food and service. Must try place! I forgot to take pictures of the food but I ordered like half the menu. Everything was very delicious. One thing to note is that the "911" spice level is extremely spicy. I have a very high spice tolerance and I was still struggling lol. The "Thai hot" doesn't seem spicy enough but the next level up is "911" which is too spicy for me. The usual restaurant we go to when in Twin was closed so we tried Jasmine Thai Cuisine. Excellent choice! We started with Tom Yum and Tom Kha soups. Husband wanted lemon grass and I wanted coconut/lemon grass so we ordered both taking the remainder home with us. Both delicious. Entrees were Drunken Noodle and Pad Thai Noodle and they were both delicious. Portions were generous so we took some of both home as well. We shared a dessert of Thai custard and sweet sticky rice and it was the perfect ending to a very good meal. Looking forward to returning to try other menu items. Great find! read more
