I therefore felt confident to again call up Julie and ask her to send a team to move the same Furniture minus some very large pieces to our new home. What a nightmare, The team arrived and immediately tried to turn it into it two day move. When we declined, they became frustrated and things proceeded downhill. I could write 10,000 words and not describe it accurately. The three person team arrived without water, hours late, did not seem like they were feeling well as three of them used our bathroom For extended periods of time, if you know what I mean! They built a cardboard ramp to move our furniture and boxes down a staircase-despite our protests (we were on a very tight schedule and felt desperate ) this destroyed furniture and boxes,literally ripped the bars off of wardrobe boxes, all in the exact same way. Left half of our furniture and goods behind, this we have learned are called hostage loads, to force the second day move and despite a contract tried to charge us Twice the estimate! Owner promised to repair and replace Furniture late that night, as I protested and shared the extreme damage and the fact that half of our belongings were left behind . They did not follow through. Julie gaslight and attacked me! She has sent harassing text messages @10pm, as I've used the proper authorities to try to address this after her failing to respond or live up to her responsibilities I will post a screenshot of her response to me which -"was it was all damaged already, My team did nothing" We live in a pet and child free home and all of this furniture was purchased with pride when our children were in college and was damage free. She of course, does not have proof that any of these items were damaged We have video and photos of items before the move and proof of sending her videos and photos in the early a.m. as this move dragged to the 2 AM hour at which time her workers were revving their truck engine in our small residential neighborhood, In a threatening manner. We found our new shark vacuum in a yard down the street and to whomever lost their king main bed Support we have it. They left it with us! Please beware and stay safe and avoid this company,It has changed greatly. These movers will not treat your home and belongings with Care,as we believe they know that there will be no remedy for their customers as the owner stated herself! Ps: The posted photos are a very small percentage, we have over 90 GB of proof! They packed this truck about 3 to 5 feet high And then kept telling us things wouldn't fit

They were also careful to point out damage prior and ensure I was aware before they packed up any items. Movers were quick completing the move in less than four hours. They ended up adding a person when we got to the next house to make the move faster. I was informed prior and agreed before the person was added since there was additional cost. All my furniture was put back together without any issues. Would use Hansen again for future moves.

We visited Storage Master on 3205 Dutton Avenue on Thursday and met with the manager, Suzi. She was…read moreinitially friendly and helpful. She showed us a specific 10x30 unit we liked and quoted us $219 per month, compared with the $199 rate shown online for a generic 10x30. We particularly liked the unit's location and the fact that Suzi lives onsite, which gave us some comfort from a security standpoint. She also told us that, under a new California requirement, storage contracts must disclose the maximum rate a customer could be charged during the first 12 months. We appreciated what appeared to be transparency. Unfortunately, everything unraveled once we tried to reserve the unit. Suzi told us that, to receive the $219 rate for the specific unit she showed us, we would have to make the reservation online because the price would be higher if we rented it in person. The problem was that the website would not allow us to select or reserve that specific unit. My husband therefore made an online reservation for a 10x30 so that we would at least have a reservation in place, and then called to make sure it could be applied to the unit Suzi had shown us. Unfortunately, he was unable to speak with Suzi because she was not "on duty," so he was instead routed through StoragePRO's centralized customer service and an onsite employee named Danielle. Over the weekend, he was bounced between centralized customer service and Danielle. By then, the price for the same unit had already increased from $219 to $249. Danielle initially resisted taking a message for Suzi, insisted she could handle the issue, and then ultimately said there was nothing she could do. My husband called again on Monday. The price for the exact same unit had now increased again, to $279, just days after we had been quoted $219 in person. He again asked for Suzi to call us. She never did. I finally reached Suzi on Wednesday. Her first response was that "corporate" sets the rates and she could do nothing about them. After I explained that we had followed her instructions and tried to reserve the unit online immediately after our visit, but the website did not allow us to select that specific unit, she agreed to email corporate to see if she would be able get us the rate she initially quoted for the unit we wanted. She said she would get back to me early the next day. She didn't. When I had still heard nothing by that afternoon, I left her a message. Again, no response. So, within a few days: * We were told we had to reserve online to receive the quoted $219 rate * The online system would not let us reserve the specific unit we had inspected * The price for that same unit then went from $219 to $249 to $279 * We were repeatedly passed between centralized customer service and onsite staff * Multiple requests for a call back were ignored * A promised follow-up never happened * Even a follow-up message after that missed commitment received no response This was before we had even signed a contract or moved a single item into the facility. That is the biggest red flag of all. Once a storage unit is full, customers have very little practical leverage because moving everything again is expensive and disruptive. If this is how pricing and communication are handled before they have your business, it does not inspire confidence about what happens afterward. We decided to walk away and give our business to a storage company that actually seemed interested in renting us a unit, provided a written quote for the specific space we inspected, and understood that responding to and communicating with prospective customers is part of the job. Storage Master and StoragePRO gave us every reason to believe the pricing problems and communication failures would only get worse once all our belongings were inside and moving elsewhere became difficult and expensive.

I had called and spoke with Jason about a quote to help me with loading a 26 ft. Uhaul truck to move to my new home out of state. He gave me the estimated cost and I booked the reservation time to meet me at my condo unit. I had a storage unit to empty first, so they loaded that first, then got back to the condo to start loading everything there. Got done with my garage, then calculated that my household furnishings would not fit all of it in the rest of the truck. He advised me that I needed a cargo trailer also to finish packing and loading the rest of my belongings. I went and got a 6x12 trailer and filled that pretty much too. These guys are so very proficient and professional, packing the truck and filling every nook and cranny of space, and finally got the loading done . This day was stressful for me, but they did such a fantastic job, that I was so relieved after all was finished, we kinda went over my estimated time, but I knew that was going to happen after they started. I am so grateful to them for all the hard work they did to help me and get me on my way to my new home. I would highly recommend Jason and his crew to anyone needing professional help loading a truck to move , a pleasant experience for me. read more

Jason and his associate were absolutely what I needed for the job I had and I couldn't be happier with the results they delivered. Firstly, he was the only person out of about 10 that I contacted who was able to provide a reasonable estimate quickly without me having to continually poke and prod. Further, Jason was professional and courteous the entire time where most responses I got were half sentences/grunting yah/nah and similar, which was extremely frustrating. When they showed up to the pick-up site, they were prepared with all needed materials to do the job right and they took their time to make sure everything went smoothly. As I was having something delivered that I consider a "dream" item, this was the most important thing to me, rather than having someone sprint to the finish line while destroying the item and/or space it was being moved from/into. I would go so far as to say they exhibited the same care that I would with my own things, which is something incredibly rare. In summary, this is how customer service should be done. I know for sure I'm moving again in a few years and will go out of my way to hire Jason should additional assistance be needed. You should too! read more

Jason and his crew are amazing. Over the years I have accumulated a lot of items that are both very fragile and have a strong sentimental attachment for me; not so valuable to the rest of the world but irreplaceable for me and my family, and I didn't feel stressed or worried about how things were going to be handled once I saw the crew in action. I was very impressed by their efficiency, kindness, caring, and professionalism. It's the first time I've hired someone to help me move who didn't break something or cause me stress. They were on time and were able to both reschedule when the closing day changed at the last minute and were also able to help with things like supplying me extra packing materials and even pitching in themselves. They moved some things to the new home and also to a storage facility a short distance away. They even have great taste in music. I wanted them to turn it up, lol. I felt the prices were VERY fair for how hard everyone worked and how careful they were. They acted more like caring relatives or friends than strangers, tbh. By Far the BEST! After working with this moving team twice now we have decided that we only use this moving team! Our schedule for our moved changed 3 times and they totally understood our change was out of our control. They were incredibly patient as we finally solidified a date for our move. They are reliable, fast, efficient, fun to chat with, easy going, accommodating, patient, and hardworking! Our move was a little complex as well because we were moving our business and our home. The place we lived had lots of steps, roundabouts, trees, and gravel to move around. When searching for a moving company, you found your guys here. No need to look anywhere else. Jason and Kendell were amazing and very professional. They came all the way to Vacaville from Santa Rosa. They arrived on time and were very efficient. I've never came across a moving company who were so fast and yet so organized. They treated all of my belongings with care. They even offered to set up several beds and put my huge sectional recliner couch together for me. These guys are simply the best. Don't waste a ton of time researching all of your options, just book Jason. Prompt and clear communication from the get-go and throughout the moving process. They showed up on time with the rental truck, which saved me from having to go get it. They brought blankets, floor protectors, box tape, furniture wrap, dollies, tools to disassemble furniture, etc....everything we needed. They work hard and are very diligent in taking good care of your home and belongings. They have a system and it works. There wasn't a nook or cranny in the truck that wasn't well utilized. Not only are they truly professional on all levels, they are lovely people with calm, grounded, thoughtful energy which is exactly what you need when dealing with the stress of a major move. Jason and his son Jaden are a power team. We had a complicated move to and from multiple sites. They were helpful at each site beyond the grueling physical work. They have a positive attitude and while we tried to minimize the moving and re-moving of items, it happened and they took it in stride. I cannot recommend them more highly. The first time I saw these guys in action was when they removed my mom's piano - by stairs down one floor - something that barely seemed possible to me. Their professionalism in protecting the piano, and their calm, thorough, communication as they got the piano down the stairs was impressive and reassuring. These guys are who you want to move you. Prompt, COVID precautions, friendly, careful, and FAST! My move was a small clothing store relocation and they took all the difficult fixtures and storage bins totally in stride. We were organized on the front end of the move but total load and unload nearby was under 3 hours. I was impressed! We hired Jason and Jaden to pack everything we own in a 20' truck for an international move. We honestly thought there was no way it would all fit so we set aside many items that we were willing to give up. But thanks to Jason's skill and attention to detail they packed the truck so efficiently that they got it all in! Needed assistance moving a massage chair from one floor to another and loading an upright Piano into a U-haul trailer. They worked fast but were still careful with everything, especially the furniture and fragile items, which I really appreciated. Moving is usually stressful, but these guys made it way easier. They were organized, respectful, and checked in with me along the way to make sure things were going where I wanted them. Nothing was damaged and everything arrived safely, which is honestly all you can ask for. Overall just a solid, professional team that clearly knows what they're doing.
