These guys were easy to coordinate schedules with and there was no babysitting needed. They showed up when they said they would be there and jumped right in for a 6 hour job. We had much more gym equipment than I realized and they hauled everything. Huge boxes and pieces of very heavy items were moved without any problem. I also felt that I could trust them with my purse and other valuables laying around. Most impressive of all, they utilized every nook and cranny to pack all my furniture and boxes, then drove 3.5 to my new home. My wife called them the packing wizards. I couldn't be more grateful for the care they put into my safely packing my possessions and their reliability even after they realized our move was happening on Father's Day and one team member dropped out sick. We hired Jason, who was accompanied by his excellent helper, Samuel. After a debacle experience with Jason, we still tipped them $50 apiece. But, Jason had us put it in his Zelle account, so I don't think that Samuel actually got his $50. They showed up 45 minutes late. (Jason couldn't seem to find the address.) In any case, Samuel was great! Jason seemed slow and disgruntled the entire 3 1/2 hours that he was here. I was helping a friend move and she and I were discussing it afterwards. She said that he kept talking about how he was confused, he couldn't seem to understand what he was supposed to do, and he moved very slowly. It is quite possible that he was altered. My friend gave him explicit instructions via text and email, as did I when I first found him on yelp. We had everything clear, we thought. Then, when it was time to "settle up," as he put it, he was going to charge $200 extra. When I said that that was not our agreement, he got angry and became verbally abusive. My friend was there and she became frightened. All she wanted (she told me later when we debriefed the situation) was for him to leave. He has an anger issue that was truly frightening. I don't know if he's going through a particularly hard time in his life, or what it was. But, seemingly altered, oftentimes confused and saying so, slow, and extremely unprofessional and disrespectful. This man should not be working with the public. And, btw, we paid him what we were quoted. read more
