We used this company 3 1/2 years ago and had a great experience and I too would've posted an excellent review. (Photos are posted above.) I therefore felt confident to again call up Julie and ask her to send a team to move the same Furniture minus some very large pieces to our new home. What a nightmare, The team arrived and immediately tried to turn it into it two day move. When we declined, they became frustrated and things proceeded downhill. I could write 10,000 words and not describe it accurately. The three person team arrived without water, hours late, did not seem like they were feeling well as three of them used our bathroom For extended periods of time, if you know what I mean! They built a cardboard ramp to move our furniture and boxes down a staircase-despite our protests (we were on a very tight schedule and felt desperate ) this destroyed furniture and boxes,literally ripped the bars off of wardrobe boxes, all in the exact same way. Left half of our furniture and goods behind, this we have learned are called hostage loads, to force the second day move and despite a contract tried to charge us Twice the estimate! Owner promised to repair and replace Furniture late that night, as I protested and shared the extreme damage and the fact that half of our belongings were left behind . They did not follow through. Julie gaslight and attacked me! She has sent harassing text messages @10pm, as I've used the proper authorities to try to address this after her failing to respond or live up to her responsibilities I will post a screenshot of her response to me which -"was it was all damaged already, My team did nothing" We live in a pet and child free home and all of this furniture was purchased with pride when our children were in college and was damage free. She of course, does not have proof that any of these items were damaged We have video and photos of items before the move and proof of sending her videos and photos in the early a.m. as this move dragged to the 2 AM hour at which time her workers were revving their truck engine in our small residential neighborhood, In a threatening manner. We found our new shark vacuum in a yard down the street and to whomever lost their king main bed Support we have it. They left it with us! Please beware and stay safe and avoid this company,It has changed greatly. These movers will not treat your home and belongings with Care,as we believe they know that there will be no remedy for their customers as the owner stated herself! Although a year ago, I would not recommended this company for a long list of reasons that would take too long to write about. They were not prepared, and had no tools or packing items needed for the job. It was only 15 miles and most everything went wrong. Do yourself a favor and find a different company. read more

We used this company to move from our house in Vallejo to a house in Clearlake. I received a quote before the move then was charged another 1200 for the move after it was completed. We had several broken items and thank god I had home owners insurance who had to pay out over 5000 in damages because of Fast Movers negligence. The moving crew was a bunch of inexperienced kids around 18 years of age. The owner did not even supervise the move and took one of the trucks to a casino while the others unloaded at my new home. When he came back there were items missing and many damaged things. He came back around 1 am with the truck. Then he told me that the move took longer and he would have to charge an additional 9000 dollars unless I tip his workers. ALso the owner smoked a vape in my house. No respect for the consumer nor my new home. read more

I found Fast Masters Movers through an Angi referral and I'm so glad I did. The piano movers I used before were cheap, but they also broke the player piano disc player on my grand piano, so I didn't want to use them again. Fast Masters called me in advance of their arrival to let me know they were picking up a few items for the morning's move and that they'd arrive about 30 minutes after the scheduled time, which was well within tolerances. The crew of four meant they worked efficiently. I was really impressed with how each member of the team worked to support the crew as a whole and cooperated. They kept track of all the parts and tools and remembered my concerns about the player piano, making sure to protect that area throughout the move. Seeing as my baby grand had to make it down a long set of stairs, I'm glad I had this team on the job! They attended to details like ensuring my daughter's electric bike was brought back upstairs, since it'd been moved out of the way and putting the screen door back on its hinges. I had another moving company lined up for my move from Santa Rosa to Healdsburg. I called the owner of that moving company and he said he would get a quote out the next morning. I didn't receive it so I had to call him again (red flag). When I tried to schedule the move I left him a message at his office. No response, so I called his cell phone and it was disconnected. I won't mention the name of the other moving company but if you don't get return phone calls or their cell phone is disconnected, it's a red flag. So I called Michael at Fast Movers and he answered his phone. He said he would have his dispatcher Julie call me to schedule the move. Within 30 seconds after my conversation with Michaely, Julie called to schedule my move. Julie answered all of my questions and put me at ease about the move. She said Martin would call me the morning of the move before they head out to Santa Rosa. Martin called me on the morning of my move. Martin and Jeremiah showed up on time and efficiently loaded up the truck. Equally efficient, they unloaded my stuff in Healdsburg. My understanding is Fast Movers used to be "Cross ing the Jordan". My bill came out to the quoted amount. I graciously tipped both of them and gave them some free cheeseburger coupons for Habit Burger. I usually don't write reviews, especially negative reviews but wanted to share my experience to help others. I'll start by saying the movers did their job - they moved all out furniture cautiously, carefully and quickly. The issue is with whoever is scheduling and allowing late arrivals. I scheduled my move two weeks before for a 1PM move. On the day of my move I heard nothing until 2PM, then I was called and told that they won't arrive for another two hours. After those two hours went by I received another call saying they will not arrive for another two hours. After those two hours, I again receive another call that they will not come for another two hours. At this point my complex had to call the movers to confirm that they were still coming because of our security protocol but the movers finally arrive at 8PM, 7 HOURS LATER than scheduled. Though my time/day was wasted waiting around, the movers were quick with the move. There was again miscommunication with management about the final price. The price I was quoted initially was not the price the movers calculated, but luckily I had a digital copy of my initial agreement which the movers upheld. All is all, the movers got the job done but if you value your time and punctuality I would consider other options. We ended up wasting a day and make more requests with our apartment to extend our move days/times. read more

I utilized Fast Masters Moving a little over a month ago and I am giving them a 4/5 due to conflicting cost estimate, final cost, and hidden fees. Overall, the company did a great job at packing up my furniture and moving everything into storage. My biggest issue was lack of full disclosure for the total cost. My initial estimate for a 2 bedroom, 1 car garage apartment (1K sq. ft.) was ~$1K. Final cost ended up being $2.1K. Additionally, I inquired if there was any additional costs to include fees and material and was told no, but that was not the case. For transparency, below is the final breakdown of costs (* for unexpected costs): - Labor: $175 per hour - 8 hours = $1,400 - Overtime labor: $262.50 - 1 hour = $262.50* - Paper pads: $7 per - 29 total = $203.00* - Rolls of plastic: $32 per - 3 total = $96.00* - Booking fee = $40.00* - Tape: $5 per - 12 total = $60* - Mattress bags - $10 per - 2 total = $20.00* - Mirror packs - $32 per - 3 total = $96.00* - Boxes - $5 per - 3 total = $15.00* Overall total: $2,192.00* Upon arrival, the company had me waive the estimate due to incorrectly estimating how long it would take to move my household goods. I did not argue either this or the final cost due to the stress and exhaustion of moving and needing to get my household goods into storage on a timeline. More recently, I have been told this is standard for moving companies to charge you double for what they estimate, but it would be nice if these companies would just be upfront and honest about cost so you could either save or plan for these expenses. This company gets the job done and the team is professional, but just be ready to have the breath knocked out of you when you write the final check. read more

Stellar!! We used them for a local move (around half an hour away) and they were far and away the most competitive offer of the 5 companies who gave us estimates. Although they arrived a bit late due to a staffing change, they were super friendly, efficient, and did an absolutely fantastic job of wrapping the furniture and taking care of our belongings, with zero damage. If you care about your stuff, use professional movers like these guys! There was a bit of a discrepancy around the hours and amount charged, which the office quickly rectified the next business day. We would use them again with zero hesitation, and recommend you do too. Tip: no matter what mover you use, be sure to ask for a "do not exceed" quote, which is your legal right in California so that you don't get a surprise at the end. read more

Being that the house is up an unpaved road at the top of Jenner, I was so worried I wouldn't find a moving company that would service that area, but huzzah, these delightful souls came to my rescue and were so affordable and awesome! From the first phone call when we cracked each other up discussing details, I knew this was my team. When the owners came by the house for the walk thru, they were on time, friendly and brought their cute puppy! Gaaaaah! Little cutie! On the day of the move, Carlos and Jon arrived and got right to work playing a masterful game of Tetris to get everything in the truck. They then headed to SF and cleared out a bunch of stuff from my apartment and filled in the gaps with the new stuff. It was one of the easiest moves I've done in decades. DECADES! Back in December I was at a bar in San Rafael with a friend having a beer. I mentioned that I wanted to get a pool table for my new house in Fairfax, and how I thought a bar table would be a cool way to go. The bartender overheard our conversation and explained that the company who services his table has a bunch of extra used tables from bars that shuttered during covid. I went to Rainbow Novelties in Novato and picked out a killer table, but they were only able to deliver to a ground floor location. I needed to get this 700lb table into the second floor. My house is on a slight hill, so we needed to get it up 50+ exterior stone steps to the back door on the second level... fortunately there are breaks with flat sections between 4-7 steps at a time so it isn't has hard as getting it up a normal flight of 50 steps. I started calling movers, and once I showed photos everyone turned down the job. I finally spoke with Julie at Fast Masters Movers and she was confident they could take this on. They arrived in Novato with four movers, and immediately were surprised to see it was a bar table and not a standard table that they have experience disassembling. They thought it wouldn't be a problem and quickly got it wrapped up with padding and into their truck. When they got to the house and saw the true challenge they quickly realized that this was not going to be easy. An hour later they managed to get it about 10% up the stairs. Julie came out with two more guys to help. She explained that she's never seen them fail, even though I was overhearing one guy say he was at a loss and they might need a crane. But that last thought of surrender must have given them all the motivation they needed... from that moment on they were on a mission to get it done. With all six guys working their bodies to the bone, over the next two hours they somehow managed to get it up all the stairs, through the back door, onto my deck, and through a side door into the final room. I was absolutely blown away that they got it in there. Every step of the way they protected both the pool table and my property. They were extremely cautious not to damage the stone stairs and walkway, lighting fixtures, hardwood floors, door frames, etc. And once it was in place, they took the time to help me level the feet and make sure it was working perfectly. They truly went above and beyond helping me turn my crazy idea into a reality. Whenever I need to move anything in the future I will be calling Julie and her crew, and I highly recommend them for any moving needs. They are awesome! read more

Very, very pleased with this company to say the least. Let's face it, moving sucks, packing sucks, loading/unloading trucks sucks.... And despite this, every time I've moved before, I've done it alone, or with the help of a few friends whom actually would show up. This time around, I wasn't going to mess with if I didn't have to, so I shopped around Yelp for movers and found these guys. They responded really quickly, gave me an accurate quote which included using one of their storage vaults as everything I was moving out of my place wasn't going with me to the new place. And within an hour of the first contact, I had been booked, and signed a contract and was ready to go. They contacted me a few times in advance, confirming the addresses, times, etc (being punctual - nothing wrong with that). And on moving day, they showed up on time, and immediately went to work. I hadn't packed nearly everything yet and they offered to finish packing what wasn't done. They wrapped my dishes in paper, and did a great job of keeping everything safe in transit. But they really were excellent as they offered to take the stuff I was planning on having a different hauling company come and pick up (the company with the 800 number and the word junk as part of their name) a bunch of stuff I wanted taken to the dump. They offered a lower rate, and loaded it all in their truck, and stopped at the dumps on the way to the new place, allowing me to cancel the other company and not have to return later that day to meet and deal with it all (that was an amazing feeling!). In the end, after everything was unloaded in my new place, it was refreshing to know I didn't have to do much myself, other than give some instructions and insight. They made it super easy. Not to mention also that it was well over 95 degrees that day and these guys were busting their butts in the heat but kept on going. The crew were cool to talk to, and easy going. Hired Fast Movers to move all my stuff and my daughter and son in law also hired them. They moved my daughter first six guys two trucks they were done within five hours. These dudes were great. Got to my house right on time. Got me moved in pretty short order. The whole process went very smoothly. They gave a cheaper quote than anyone else and ended up being the most pleasant of the various spots I got quotes from. This is a slam dunk. You're solid choosing these guys. Everything worked out great, and the movers were professional, courteous and quick. I had run out of bubble wrap for the tv, but they took care of it and a mirror as well. They did a great job. My only complaint is the three hour minimum, since this took 1.5 hours. Even a two hour minimum would have saved me some money. I didn't tip the movers because I can only hope they got some of the $135 the extra hour cost me. (I realize this rule is pretty much across the board.)
