Walked in there with a part politely asked if he could install it. He went on a rant about how hes a mechanic and hes tired of people doing their own research before coming in. I tried to politely back out of the altercation by asking him what does he recommend. He started yelling at me to get out of his store. I was so confused and not sure how it escalated to that. Had 4 new brand new tires installed on my Lexus and requested a wheel alignment. When I picked up my car, my rims were scratched and there was 15 miles put on my odometer. When I approached the owner, he became beligerent, denied scratching my rims and using the car. Brought the vehicle to another tire place, who stated tires were not installed correctly resulting in the flat and no alignment was done on the car. Last time I will use Jason Tire. read more

I'm a longtime customer at Jason Tire. My car's tire light was on (again). I walked into Jason's office to see if he had time this week to take a look at the car. He was on the phone and had other customers coming into the office. Super busy for a Thursday afternoon. As always, he is gracious, asked if I had time at the moment to leave the car and he had an employee inspect for damages in the tires. This took about 10 minutes. Problems solved!! The best surprises are always the pleasant ones. With years of dealing with repair facilities under my belt, my expectations are always a bit low when taking my car in. Typically feeling like I was in some type of carnival where around every corner, someone was trying to hustle me. My experience with Jason felt more like I was taking my car in to a trusted friend's garage. No hype, no B.S., just honest discussions and evaluations. I recently moved to the area and brought my Escalade in for what I presumed was a nail or screw in my tire. After they put the car on a lift, they immediately noticed a crack in the 22" chrome rim. The owner is a real gentleman. He filled the tire with air so that I could drive it to a place in Fairfield where they could weld the crack in the rim. He also offered me his portable air compressor to make certain that I had enough air in my tire to make it to Fairfield. Honestly, who does that in today's day and age ? A real stand-up business owner. That's who. I was very impressed with this business and the owner. He has a customer now for life. read more

Don't believe those couple of complaint ratings. The staff is friendly, the work is quality , the service is outstanding and the price is good. Had a flat on a newer tire. I was given several options with no upsell at all. Most places try to jam 4 replacements on you but here they gave the pros and cons of 1, 2 or 4 for a few different price ranges. EXTREMELY SATISFIED CUSTOMER Ok, here's the story: I have owned this '06 Jeep Grand Cherokee (Limited, 5.7L HEMI) since new. I have been bringing this car to Jason for a few years now. He has also done some regular tire replacement, tire/wheel swap-outs and engine maintenance on some of my other cars (BMW, Porsche, Ford, etc). I have been driving the Jeep completely stock up until now. The car is registered and usually kept in Florida but was currently in Montclair (long story...) Before shipping the Jeep back down to Florida I wanted to change it up a bit as I was getting bored of the stock look and and a 2" lift with new wheels and beefed up all terrain tires would do just the trick. Jason spent the time to research what would be the largest tire size and what modifications would be necessary. His experience and research provided me with the optimal setup for me. Jason provided me several options and we picked out the specific wheels and tires that looked great at reasonable prices. Jason even helped with meeting with the car hauler when it was being picked up for shipment to Florida. Haven't been so happy with an automotive repair job for as long as I can recall. Highly recommend!! I came in for an oil change and went to get a coffee while waiting. They texted me that one of my brake lights were out and they were able to fix that. Fantastic experience here! I purchased a 2019 Jeep Wrangler and I wasn't happy with the look of the stock tires. Jason walked me through the process of purchasing new tires and rims. He was super patient, knowledgeable, and answered all of my questions. We got the size and fit dialed in and my Jeep looks amazing!! Long story short....a couple of tire shops messed up by new tire. Instead of taking the nail out and sealing the hole they punctured 2 more holes in. Read reviews here and decided to give it a shot. Jason took the time to take the tire out and inspect it from inside. Found 3 holes in it and repaired it. Hopefully wont have to go back anymore but if i have issues with car, i will always go here and you should too. The place seems to be honest and fairly priced. While i was there they were supposed to close for the day but kept helping people out as they drove in. also be prepared to be entertained by Jason. read more

Asked to buy a tire to replace my flat one. Was told that he would have to look at my other, normal, tires to determine if just one tire is sufficient or if other tires should be replaced. I get the fact that driving with a new tire on one side and one with worn treads on the other can cause for some uneven driving - but that's my decision. I explained I had another new tire recently installed - why not offer to rotate so the two new (er) ones are in front and older in back? Kind of ridiculous. read more

Stopped by yesterday because had a nail in my tire and wasn't sure if I would need to plug a hole. Jason removed the nail, no further work needed. However he did point out how worn my tires were. AWD takes a toll on tires and after 38,000 miles they were done. He was able to replace them that day with no appt. When I showed up to pick up the car, the car wasn't ready because the tires hadn't been delivered yet. I explained I needed to pick up my son from school in the next few minutes and without any hesitation Jason gave me the keys to his Denali pick up truck so i could get my son and drop him off at home. Best Tire Shop EVER!!!!!! I got off of work to find my rear tire almost flat. I don't live in the area, it was raining and I was not sure what to do. I drove to the first air machine I could find. I got out to use the machine and a teenager that worked there, Nicky, called over to me, "ma'am, just pull your car up here and we will fill the tire up for you." WHAT?!??! So I decided to press my luck and ask him to check it for a leak. The other guys that work there, Jason and Rich, came over to discuss the leak and it turns out that I had corrosion near some dents in my rim. I asked how long it would take to fix and they quoted me 15 min, so I said ok. The place was pretty busy, but not only did they take the time to talk to me and explain what they were doing, I noticed that they greeted all 4 customers that came in by name! Who does this anymore?!? As I mentally balanced my check book and tried to figure out how much this was going to cost, Jason said that the fix was $25. I expected to pay at least 3 times that amount! Confusing for the multiple names online but one thing is consistent, Jason. He is extremely helpful and provides great customer service. I had a leak in my tire and needed to get it checked out. Jason was able to take a look that day and diagnosed the issue. He was fair and honest with his price and did great work. A few days later, my wife needed to get her AC fixed as well. We tried Jason but since the problem was a bit more specialized he referred us to another nearby shop in Montclair.
