So I started out going to Costco for tire rotation, when I made appointment I ended up waiting 1 hour for them to tell me they couldn't rotate tire, because there was to much ware I needed a alignment. Then they said I had a nail in my rear tire that was new , Now I needed a new tire they couldn't plug it . they had to order it (stay with me it gets crazy) when they told me my appointment was Sunday 11:00 , then they said front tire was flat so I told them to replace it but they didn't have a tire this is crazy, they took the bad tire from rear and put it in front . good luck north Plainfield l read more

I came here with high expectations after reading the reviews, although was highly disappointed and lied to. I brought my Mustang here for a wheel repair after hitting a pothole, the damage was a visible dent around the lip. Upon arriving one of the guys greeted me and asked to "inspect" the damage, upon "inspecting" (he only took a quick look at it) he stated that the wheel was cracked and it was not repairable and said they cannot help me. I then left and drove to a DIFFERENT PLACE and they were able to asses the damage and even repaired the wheel while I waited there, the wheel came out spotless like nothing happened, and was way cheaper then what THE WHEEL RIM GROUP had quoted me of $200. Made an appt for 9am, took my car in a week later, originally told me each rim would take about 1.5hrs. They were done in under an hour! There I was, out in the war torn roads of N. Jersey/NYC just trying to make my way home. You know them well, these so called roads...unforgiving, merciless, bone rattling. Coming back from an amazing meal in NYC with friends, there it was laying in wait...the pothole that would launch a YELP review! Dark and deep enough to swallow a man's soul. That's exactly what it felt like when my unstoppable force met this immovable hole! I swear it felt like I drove straight into a curb and I imagined my car snapping in half like a Lego toy being discarded by an angry child or the front end simply shattering. After the gasp of OMG...there it was, the unceasing vibration. I thought I may have thrown a belt inside of the tires so I went to get them checked and as they were balancing them I was told "both of your front wheels are bent". I was sick inside because I looked everywhere online and the cheapest replacement I could find were used at $750 each! (BMW 19" Double Spoke 351M Chrome Alloy M5 OEM wheels) Enter Rich from The Wheel Rim Group. They straightened and painted/refinished 4 oem wheels for my m235i. 3 of the wheels were seriously bent and made the car vibrate a lot at speed. All of the wheels had significant curb rash and various defects in paint and clear coat. For $160/wheel, they did all of this and remounted and balanced the tires. Ended up costing maybe $150 more than my mechanic quoted me just to straighten the wheels and rebalance. Refinish job is quite good. It's probably shy of what you'd want for the concourse at a car show (there is some orange peel and one minor defect in the paint, but unless you're staring at the wheels from less than 2-3 feet away, they look brand new), but really quite good deal for the money. Wow - customer service and pride in one's work still exists. Had some pretty nasty curb rash on my 4 alloy rims (bad manufacturer design / not bad driving ha ha). Rich did miracles and completely fixed the damage - and then repainted the rims in 48 hours. Unfortunately a small amount of paintwork was damaged putting the tires back on. I was apprehensive about calling to complain - but Rich was very obliging and redid the work for no extra charge. I had access to a loaner car which made the experience that much easier. Although they may do good work on repairing the rim or curb rash, be aware that they don't apply clear coat on the wheels, they only air brush them. So the best analogy I can make is that if your wheels come in with gloss, they will be repaired with matte. I decided to have a minor scratch fixed and after 3 attempts to get a clear coat finish, I decided to go elsewhere since I realized that they aren't capable of finishing wheels back to factory specs. read more
