Dependable. Good food and service. Can be healthy if you pick the right sandwich. The only problem is parking has always been a concern.

I was given a paper to take to customer service where you give them your information, and all they care about is "putting points on your card." He never did get the information in correctly so I could get a card. So.. another 30 minutes waisted for zero benefits. Forget about getting discounts or savings, they think if you know you are getting screwed out of saving money the first time, you will come back and give them a second chance. Nope. Basically, if you are on social security, do not shop here. They only want rich people who don't care how much they spend.

I care more about my bad back and not having to carry bags by hand through the parking lot to the bus stop. Got asked by 3 employees to take my groceries to car in one trip. I appreciate the offer, but not every person in Amarillo owns a car, so stop bothering people! If they need assistance, they will request it. I lived in a city that had an amazing HEB where you put your own groceries on the belt, bag them yourself and take them to your car yourself. Prices are much lower at HEB because of this. Not all people in Amarillo grew up here and there are plenty of visitors. This is why this grocery store's prices are so high! All the employees doing unnecessary work that able bodied adults can do themselves. Save it for the disabled, elderly or anyone who requests assistance. It's not customer service, it's annoying and bothersome. Just have employees be on the lookout for carts in the parking lot. This location bothers me more than any other. You need coupons here to pay the regular price at Walmart or other grocery stores in other cities. High prices!

The sandwich had the perfect amount of sauce to meat ratio, just the right amount of cheese for flavor, & the onions I had added were the perfect ripeness. The meat was so mouthwatering and the bread was extremely soft not over toasted. The diner was clean and the establishment was quiet enough that you can have a conversation at your table without having to yell. The employees showed they were customer service oriented, had positive attitudes, and attentive. Bathrooms are also clean enough that they don't make you lose your appetite. I highly recommend this location.

Several employees behind the counter moving very slowly to make our order when we already told them we were here. Several sandwiches were hot when we specifically ordered cold, and we got a weird box of only meat and melted cheese without bun or veggies. didn't include chips in the bag so if we would have taken it to go we wouldn't have gotten our full order. I feel like it could've been a good experience with decent food, but the customer service, speed, and frustration really depleted our visit. Needs some management.

Open for breakfast and lunch, Bagel Place at first glance just felt like your regular deli, but they are loaded up with tons of bagels. From your traditional bagels like Everything, Blueberry, and Cinnamon Raisin to unique ones like French Toast, Snickerdoodle, and Sun-Dried Tomato, they all looked exceptional. Inside, the atmosphere is your classic deli. You would think they're slinging Reuben bagels the way it looks inside. Their menu had plenty of sandwich options, but I was eying their current lunch special, which was made up of oven-roasted chicken, pepper jack cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, roasted red peppers, and ranch dressing. I got it on their everything bagel. For just over $13, it came with chips and a drink as well. It was only a short wait until our food was brought to our table. The sandwich was truly delectable. They do such a great job balancing all the different items in their sandwich, making nothing feel overdone or letting the ranch overpower the rest of it and turn the whole thing too saucy. Their bagels are really the star of the show here because they have so much flavor and are cooked perfectly. The everything bagel was seasoned exactly how you would hope, which made it an especially enjoyable sandwich. As for the staff, they were pretty on top of it and made the whole experience as seamless as possible. Bagel Place is the place. A perfect lunch. RIYL: Bagels and Places

There were a number of tables with people camped out on their computers or sitting and socializing with friends. Also a steady stream of people in and out picking up To-Go orders the whole time. With all the bustle it was a little loud at times, but we didn't have to shout to carry on conversation. Lots of locals obviously enjoying themselves. They have a wide variety of bagels and schmears as you would expect. The bagels were large and tasty. Maybe a little pricey but not expensive. The coffee was lots of fun. They have about a dozen different vacuum pots sitting at the counter filled with different coffee flavors. They give you the empty cup and then you can help yourself. Sadly, by the time we were there most of the pots were empty. Of the dozen there were only 3-4 that still had coffee in them. I tried what I could and they were all pretty good. I love the concept but the execution was lacking. Next time maybe I'll get to try some more.
