Found out about this place from Texas originally. Been enjoying Newks from Texas to Arkansas and the baby brother McAlester's Deli all over the place. Today we drove out of the way to Ft Collins (1hr drive) especially to come here and then shop. I had my mind set on the Black&Blue Salad, like back in TX of which they do not have. However, my favorite sandwich is the NewksQ and today I had the best version of it ever (lots of sauce)!!! Great service, although you order at the counter. The place is nice and clean and people buzzing around in the kitchen. The food comes out hot and fresh. Happy to get to meet one of the Owers. Coloradoians you will catch on to the great Newks concept soon. Better than Panera and less expensive with the best sweet tea around and big ole cups. crispy breadsticks to munch on while you wait. Newk's is a great place to catch lunch or dinner. Lots of good choices like pizza, salad and sandwiches. They allow you to order when you enter and then bring your food to you. Within ten minutes of our arrival we were receiving our food. The Debra pizza was the special with pesto, roasted tomatoes, garlic and chicken. The crust is different than what you'd expect from pizza, but still good. I also ordered a half Greek salad which included lots of feta and olives. My husband got the Cobb salad and was very pleased with it. This restaurant is close to the college and allows for quick eats for those on a budget. read more

I never like to bring down someone's rating and I wasn't there in person so it's really just a note to self more than anything, but unfortunately I had a disappointing experience. I'm a picky eater so I chose a half sandwich & side of mac and cheese, thinking I'd like at least one. The mac had unexpected red pepper pieces and a couple stray pieces of bacon, and the sandwich had a strong mustard flavor (I specified no tomato or mustard, and there were no tomatoes, so I can't say if they added the mustard or the mayo just had a strong mustard flavor). I have a very strong aversion to mustard so I picked away at the mac and cheese but ended up eating at home. Tried to place order on line today, wouldn't go through said it couldn't contact the store. I called to place order, it was an automated system I requested to speak to someone, got a live person told them my order and she sent me back to automated system to finish the order, the automated system said it couldn't finish my order and sent me back, it rang and rang and rang no one picked up so I hung up. I called back with the option to speak with a manager, it rang and rang and rang, after about 5 minutes I hung up. Shame on them for the lack of being to place a pickup order. My sister and I ate at Newks and it was a great experience . Everything was fresh and delicious. I had a situation where I lost my phone, and the manager, KP Jones, went beyond the call of duty to help me find it . Got the 2 pizza and salad special. Two small personal-sized pizza and a large salad for $20...can't beat that!! The BBQ pizza was amazing - honestly, one of the best I've ever had. The pepperoni pizza and salad were very good, but not outstanding. A chewy thin crust (similar to MOD pizza). Will definitely order from here again as you can't beat the price for a decent pizza. read more

Best new restaurant in Fort Collins! They have a great variety of food - pizzas, sandwiches, salads, soups and yummy sides. ALL of it is done well. We had one in Florida, and it was very popular. The Newk's Q sandwich is excellent. And the Caesar salad dressing is perfect. Their pizzas are also delicious. We tried two of the soups, chicken and dumplings, and lobster bisque. Both were very good and seasoned just right. Great service, good music and outdoor seating. We will definitely be regulars. Highly recommend you try it! read more

This is a new restaurant in the area and I tried it for the first time this week! They have great meal deals, AMAZING AND QUALITY SERVICE and a great atmosphere. My only complaint is that their salads and chicken salad is made with chicken deli meat and not chicken breast. I just didn't expect it, and not to be picky, but I expected chicken breast. I got their 8oz bulk chicken salad for nearly $10 and their Green Goddess salad and I was pretty disappointed to see it was made with deli meat and not chicken breast. The deli meat chicken ruined the quality for me with these specific dishes, especially due to the price of 2 servings worth of chicken salad. I really like this place. It is a pretty basic eatery, but the menu is large and you could go back many times and still have new things to try. I am not a bread person, but the bread used in the sandwiches is freshly backed and delicious. The sides are all good, too, but I recommend the potato salad. You order at the counter and they bring the food to you, but are pretty fast, so no worries when you are on a time crunch. read more
