Minimalistic menu of options than menus at store locations. You can pay via phone or card. The staff seemed busy, they made the order were decent timing. Tasted and looked decent. Serves a decent breakfast bagel at a reasonable price. There was a long line when I arrived, but I didn't have to wait long until I was able to order, and my order was complete within a couple of minutes. I had the ham and egg breakfast bagel. I was glad to see a Panera-like option near my gate instead of settling on five guys at 10am. I ordered the manager's special of half of a ranchero wrap and the broccoli cheese soup. The wrap was good and presented as advertised but the meat was obviously previously frozen, but overall it was tasty and my expectations at these types of establishments (in airports) for quality are generally low. Hooray for breakfast at Jason's Deli, but this was pretty much a last resort. I like their lunch & dinner options, but breakfast is lacking. I went with the breakfast sandwich, which gives you your choice of meat (I went with bacon) & bread (I chose a bagel). The bacon was somewhat crisp, but the egg tasted of course like "commercial" egg. The bagel was nice & soft. Of course it's airport pricing, so I paid about $6 for this sandwich. Needed a quick dinner before hopping on my flight. Jason's deli seemed like a good (and really only) option that was near my gate. Connected to five guys, the five guys smell was definitely more tempting but chose to stay healthier with the Jason's deli pick. I ordered a turkey wrap that just had turkey, lettuce, tomato and guacamole in it (asked for it without the ranch dressing) and comes in a wheat tortilla. Prices are on the higher end for just a tiny wrap, but what else do you expect from airport food? At least the sandwich came with a bag of chips. They wrapped my sandwich in paper and when I went to open it on my lap, the wrap wasn't rolled up enough in the paper that half of it came falling out on the floor of the airport. I was so disappointed until I ate a bite of the other half and realized I wasn't missing anything exciting. The wrap had no flavor at all, hardly any fillings inside, and I couldn't even taste any guacamole in it. Even for airport food, I expected a little better from Jason's deli. I walked into Jason's Deli on 3-17-2020 about 1045am and was greeted by 2 very polite young ladies ready to take my order. CoronaVirus of course had the airport very quiet so I was very pleased to be able to grab takeout for my flight. I ordered a tuna on wheat with lettuce. I didn't eat my sandwich the day I bought it...I brought it home and I'm eating it now....3-18-2020...soooo good and still fresh! Bread was really soft and tuna was perfect not too much mayo or salt! I am loving eating my tuna at home today with a nice glass of wine! Kudos to employees who wrapped sandwich well so it stayed fresh and yummy a day later! I am a flight attendant and I eat at many airports and I can say this is 1 of the best sandwiches I've ever had! read more

Running to catch a plane at 7:50. I hadn't eaten a bite since 12:30, and that was a granola bar. Ran into the place and grabbed the first sandwich I saw and a bottle of water. I was hungry and was prepared to eat whatever 12-15 hour old sandwich they offered. If I didn't eat now it was going to be at least another two hours before I had another chance. So once I grabbed it did my race walk to the gate and boarded the plane , I prepared to eat what was sure to be a horrible dinner. But wait, the bread is soft and chewy. The ham is nicely pink and moist. No dried out edges on the cheddar cheese. And there is even spicy (not overly so) brown mustard already on the sandwich. What a complete and total surprise. Not that I anticipate having a hankering for this sandwich again, but when you are in a rush it's good to know that this type of quick to-go meal is available. My regular airline finally moved over to Terminal 2 at RDU so now we have a who new selection of places to eat at. I think this place just opened up this week. Staff was overly nice and took my order right away. Was running late and Jason's Deli was right across from my gate. Ordered a pesto chicken panini (7.29) to go. Chicken - good, not some booring chicken with no seasoning on it - (like most typical airport chicken sandwiches). Bread good, cheese, melted, basil fresh. For airport food this is better than average fair and will probably repeat the next time I'm there. read more

WORSE EXPERIENCE EVER! Rhey 1st give me the incorrect sandwich. I then wait for them to make me the correct sandwich. They then make the sandwhich incorrectly. I thinn they forgor they are in an airport. Planes are boarding. Spending 20min to get a soup and sandwich now means my plane is boarding. I left. Love eating at Jason's deli when I have an early morning flight out of RDU. They have a great selection of breakfast sandwhiches and you can add extras to your sandwhich. Just ordered Soup & water.... tomato basil soup was greasy. The water was the best, it was bottled. The young lady and young man working behind the counter preparing food were extremely rude. Their language was mortifying and was beyond unacceptable. When I went to exchange the soup for a different type because of the greasiness, my attempt to get the attention from the young lady was less than pleasant on her end.... she yelled "I can't hear you" from the other end of the counter instead of just walking over to assist me.
