Oh My -- Ate at my First Aladdin's Eatery twenty some years ago when a shop opened up in Dublin, OH. I was kinda annoyed because it had replaced a Dairy Queen I liked. But what first appeared as a Lebanese "health food, vegan, vegetarian" restaurant even though they had some meat dishes -- turned into one of the favorite restaurants of my life! Their hummus, pitas (light and fluffy but not overy thick), hot sauce, shawarma, salads, kibi, lamb plate, soups (V9 rules) all became things I craved for the next twenty years. And the desserts! I think they made up for all the "healthy" stuff by having freshly made cakes to indulge after a good meal. Thank goodness they had franchises in Cleveland (where I visit my mother) -- when I had moved away from one I could get my fix there. But while in Columbus area, Dublin restaurant closed and I went to the one in Grandview quite a bit. I have been back in North Carolina for 12 years now. On a day trip to Raleigh, I stopped by the store at Brier Creek (8201 Brier Creek Pkwy #107) OH MY! It has been a while (I think I need to go visit my mother! ) Had my lunch staple. shawarma salad with Aladdin's dressing (they used to have a zesty tomato back in the day that was really good) a small hummus and HOT SAUCE! I am so glad the south is staring to get the grand taste of Aladdin's Eatery! Like I told the owner -- From the first day I tasted any meal to yesterday, the meals and food are consistent -- if you go back in time, they would be prepared and taste the same -- like Heaven, mother's milk! Now Lebanese, middle eastern may not be for everyone but if you want a good healthy salad or some great soup, I am sure you can find something here.. but you will miss out on the spices and flavors! I think the main thing about Aladdin's besides stellar food and consistency is the people! I have not met an owner, server, host that was not friendly, courteous, gracious and human! These folks are great! And just like the food has been so since day one! I wish all restaurants and business could be like Aladdin's, the world would be a better place -- after my meal yesterday, I am refueled and ready to go in body and spirit! Good food, great service, but one thing stood out: I was recommended a wine over the one I chose. It was offered as "more authentic to match the food, same price." It wasn't good - I didn't appreciate being pushed old inventory that had started moving toward the "vinegar" stage. This doesn't deter me from going back - the food is great! - but I will be more careful. read more

Wow! I found myself at Brier Creek and I asked my AI partner the best place to eat. Aladdin was the recommended spot. I saw several other venues close by and I asked if one of those might be better. Again Aladdin was recommended. I went there and I was blown away. I got the falafel wrap and it was unique and delicious. It didn't make it home so no picture available. I also got the chili and lentil soup. Both vegan and both very delicious! The serving sizes were ample and they gave me a vegan baklava as I was interim their vegan dessert options. The service was top notch and it looks like the seating would be comfortable for two or a small group. I will definitely try them again. read more

We tried Aladdin's Eatery on a beautiful Tuesday night before seeing a movie at the nearby Regal Theater. We were seated right away and Montana was our server, he was awesome! We love Shawarma, so she ordered the chicken shawarma wrap and I ordered beef shawarma plate. It took longer than we expected to get our food, so we asked Montana to have it packaged to go. There weren't many patrons in the restaurant at the time, and most had already had their meals when we arrived. We were able to get our food within a few minutes after asking for it to go and letting them know we had a movie to go to. We did get a chance to eat some of our food before rushing over to the theater. The beef was seasoned well and tender. The lemon garlic sauce was so good. The rice and vegetables were plentiful, plenty of chickpeas. It wasn't exactly what I was expecting, but I did enjoy it. My daughter gave the Chicken wrap a 7 out of 10. I really enjoyed my combo meal! The lamb was a little dry, but the chicken was excellent. I definitely recommend getting the garlic sauce As a side because it absolutely is the best part. The pita was thin and dry and overall not my favorite. I think the price is a little high, but I would still definitely go back if I'm craving Mediterranean food. A hidden gem! Fresh and good quality ingredients-that's all you need. Juice that's actually made to order from a real fruit/vegetable with no additives. Isn't it sad that it's so hard to find at restaurants? Aladdin's has it all. The juice was delicious and fresh. Everything was very good. This place is a hidden gem that we stumbled upon for lunch that was close by. Small intimate and the staff gave great suggestions and descriptions. Everything had lots of flavor! The rolled Dijon chicken was very tasty, the cauliflower was so good. My husband had the steak tuna roll and that was so good that he ordered another one. My experience today at Aladdin's Eatery was quite amazing! Firstly, the service was impeccable and very responsive. Being greeted and tended to by Jeffry P made my meal levels better as I had a comprehensive breakdown of the menu and its ingredients. Great takeout option and seems like a cozy place to dine in as well! Highly recommend the cauliflower starter, it was delicious. I also got the Arayiss Pitza which has ground beef, hummus and herbs on a pita "pizza" and it was very tasty. My husband got Jasmine's Favorite with Beef Schwarma and enjoyed that as well. Been here a couple times. Every time we stop by there's always a nice staff member to help us place an order. The food is always hot and full of flavor. Beware it is located in the busy briar Creek. That makes it tough sometimes to find parking, but it's a great place to get food on the quick go. read more

We chose this eatery among the others because it featured Mediterranean food and looked affordably priced. I chose the Chicken Shawarma Rolled and a side of babaganoush with fresh pita. Baklava was ordered for a family member. The order was filled in a reasonable amount of time. We chose to eat outside in the shade at tables lined next to the restaurant and proceeded to enjoy our meal. The Chicken Shawarma rolled was much longer than anticipated. Filled with moist grilled chicken, onions and tomato, I enjoyed the ingredients enhanced by the lemon tahini sauce. The flavor of the babaganoush contained the right amount of seasoning and the texture was perfect for scooping with the pita. Went there today and food was good. It was a nice quiet lunch spot and went there for a business meeting. Nothing fancy and very affordable and highly recommend for an easy lunch or night out. I was quite excited to try this place out given the fact that this is one of the most Yelp-reviewed place in the RTP region. However, I thought the food and my experience were extremely okay. - Flavor Savor Special - I was honestly pretty impressed by the variety in this dish given the price. There was salad, hummus, pita bread, three types of "meats" (including falafel), and rice. I will say that none of the elements particularly stood out to me, but they were all very solid although I will say that the chicken felt a bit dry. - Chicken Curry Roll - I thought this roll was pretty standard in terms of flavor, but I will say that I appreciate how tightly it was rolled and the fact that they "sealed" where the edge meets the rest of the bread so that the ingredients don't fall out. It's all about the details! Also, the dressing they use was just honey mustard which I love and will use when I make rolls in the future, but didn't think that it was justified with the price. Overall, very okay food. In terms of the experience, I would say that the waiters were all extremely nice and kind but they seemed a bit absent-minded. I love Aladdin's! It's been one of my go to spot for dining, especially during the height of the pandemic. Situated in the heart of Brier Creek it was the perfect meetup between my bestie and I who lived on opposites sides of town (Raleigh vs Durham). We'd get a couple bottles of wine and grab a table outdoors, they offer both indoor and outdoor seating. I've even brought my dog! The food here is delicious, the pita always warm and fresh, the hummus creamy and flavorful but my absolute favorites are anything with their lamb! So so good, and then add their garlic sauce on the side - whew!!! That right there hits the spot, ev-er-y time! Did I mention how nice they are? I have been there maybe a dozen times and I have never not been treated with warmth and kindness. Excellent, attentive service, especially for a more casual dining experience. I just took a work lunch there today! If you're in the area looking for a some great Mediterranean and a good vibe, or a hot cup of tea, try this place out! We went here for Mother's Day as a family and had a wonderful experience. We came later in the afternoon to avoid the crowds. They had a Mother's Day special so we ordered three entrees and desserts from that, and we also ordered a chicken curry pita roll and the cauliflower appetizer. The food was all delicious and the service was wonderful. It felt like a family restaurant. There were two younger teens who helped wait on the tables - a sweet girl with glasses and a boy with straight black hair. On to the food, everything was so good. I had an appetizer platter for my main but it did not disappoint. Little bit of everything delicious! Falafel baba ganoush, hummus, stuff grape leaves...oh man was it good. Actually now that I think about it I wish I could change my rating to 4.5. I just cant justify 5 stars because of the price point...but everything was so fresh...but $2.75 for a soda really bothers me! A group of us met here for an early dinner on a Sunday evening. The waitress came and got our drink orders, and came back with them fairly quickly. I had the pomegranate green tea which was not sweet, but still very good. I was not offered a refill. I ordered the "house rice" with beef swharma. It was a good sized portion, but I wish it has been served hotter. There was a nice sauce that went with it I liked and they have a hot sauce you can get too. A friend got a piece of baklava cheesecake and we shared it and it was ok, just a small piece, but I would not get it again. The prices were a little higher than my usual mediterranean hang outs, so I dont know that I will try this place again. read more

Solid 5 stars! When you walk in it looks like a fastfood place but they wait on you at the table. We started with the hummus which was super creamy and flavorful. The pita is more like what you would see in Pakistan. It was thin and large. Very easy to use to scoop food up with. We ordered the Flavor Savor Special, the Spicy Kafta Rolled pita and Chicken Shawarma Rolled pita. All were delicious. Again, the pita is thin and was grilled so it had a crunch which was great in the rolled pitas. Be sure to ask for extra hot sauce. It's not that hot but has huge mad flavor.
