My first time eating food from here. I did not interface with the staff so I can't comment on that aspect. The bowl was great! A good balance of flavors. I added onions to it which enhanced the flavors. I would absolutely buy from them again.

Salads are amazing! Service was fast, they make them pretty quick. You can add a Variety of toppings.

Can't go wrong here. The salads are amazing and the portion sizes are huge. The place is very clean and they have plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. You always feel good after eating here. The only downside is the staff can be pretty rude and they rush you nonstop, but honestly the food is so good it's hard to complain too much.

In the area for a work trip. Beat the lunch rush by a little bit so we had quick service, but the line was quite long (but moving fast) shortly after. The descriptor "warm salad" may not sound the best, but that's kind of what it is and it is delicious. Love that you can have a great tasting, yet healthy lunch. Staff was very patient and moved quickly once you were ready. They have their service figured out well to feed all the corporate folks that swing in for lunch. Will add to my rotation when in the area.

This is a salad concept like Sweetgreens but with a slightly more abbreviated offering. I love salads and thoroughly enjoyed my experience here. Please come and create your own adventure.

Delicious bowls at a great price! I got the rancher which was filling and delicious. Love having healthier options around the triangle. Would definitely go back.

Just what you want in a fast casual salad spot. I chose the Caesar bowl, and finished it all. Great soft bread is optional, I chose heavy dressing. Selection of tea, sodas, and juice drinks. I'd come back if ever in the area!

With having such great reviews, I've been wanting to try Farmside Kitchen for a while now and finally did. This place reminds me a lot of similar restaurants like Sweetgreen and Cava. I ordered the Farmside bowl and unfortunately will say that I was a little disappointed in my meal. While the bowl was definitely healthy, it didn't have a whole lot of flavor and the dressings didn't add much to it. The meal kind of left a dry taste in my mouth. I really wanted to like this place more, and maybe I just didn't order the right thing. I'd be open to giving it another try, but this first visit didn't quite live up to the hype.

Root veggie bowl with no dressing. Tasty and filling. I didn't end up eating the bread.

Had an enjoyable lunch here on the way to the airport. I got the root veggie bowl without dressing. It was very good. Also quite filling. It had more rice than I expected. I also got a nice kombucha with limited sugar that was organic I enjoyed.

Love Farmside Kitchen!! Great place to get your fresh salad bowls. There truly something for everyone. My favorite is the rancher which comes with kale, brown rice, beans, cheese, avocado, crushed tortillas, and cilantro dressing. It comes with chicken as the protein but I always get the cilantro lime tofu. The salad is topped with a fresh lime and a slice of bread. It's so delicious and flavorful!! They have another dressing that is spicy but the cilantro dressing works for me as I'm not spice tolerant. The service is always quick and efficient. There's plenty of indoor and outside seating to accommodate all groups. And parking is easy and accessible. Love it!!

My bowl looked OK, but the flavors were decisively not there.

With so many great Yelp reviews, we were expecting a better meal when choosing Farmside Kitchen to satiate our hunger after traveling into RDU and starting our short drive back to the Triad. We wanted something fresh and tasty with plenty of greenery to help offset some of the delicious things we ate in Nashville, that admittedly, might have been not as healthy. This place is a lot like a CAVA or Chopt, except, the amount of available toppings is not as robust, and in our experience... simply not as flavorful. We each built our own bowl, and were surprised at the lack of meat choices. You have an option for chicken breast or... chicken thighs. Everything else was tofu or a warm vegetable. The chicken also looked very plain, and upon tasting it, it was very dry, and definitely lacked in the flavor department. It left that chalky chicken taste in my mouth which takes lots of liquid to dispel. Moving onto toppings, we were not confronted with lots of interesting flavors like you might see at some of those places I named earlier. Instead it was standard salad bar fare with a few exceptions. The dressings were interesting, my cilantro based one was tasty, but the Greek vinaigrette my wife chose didn't have much in the way of flavor. She went back up for a side cup of balsamic, which was much better. This was around 8pm that we came in, and mind you, they are open until 10pm as noted on the door. The employees were much more focused on their closing duties than anything food related. One of them kept mopping the floor the entire time even though more customers were coming in and having to track through it. In the end, it just wasn't a satisfying meal, but was enough to get us home. Maybe this place is simply more on it's game during lunch or earlier dinner hours, but, I don't see myself stopping in again.

I had been hearing good things about Farmside for a while & finally got the opportunity to check it out. We came in the evening during the week & there were a decent of amount of people dining in & getting take out. It was not packed though. There is plenty of parking near the entrance. The restaurant is spacious & you can dine inside or outside. There are healthy fruit juice combinations & regular fountain drink options available. After entering you place your order at the counter & your meal is made using the assembly line of ingredients. You can create your own bowl or select a pre-selected set of ingredients. The ingredients were fresh. I really enjoyed my bowl & plan on returning.

Our server was very friendly and knowledgeable and gave us a rundown of the menu before we ordered. I decided to start with the Cheese Plate, which included 3 different cheeses, buttered baguette slices, jam, mustard, and pickles. I enjoy cheese plates, and this one was great, but I can understand it may not be for everyone. My wife ordered the Red Fish, which had a more Southeast Asian-inspired twist to it. It came over rice and pickled onions and beets, and the flavors were a blend of lemongrass and coconut. The fish was cooked well - nice and tender, not too dry - and the flavors went well together. I ordered the New York Strip, which was delicious - the meat was well cooked, had great flavor, and was a generous portion that was very filling. The only gripe I had was that the char on the eggplant overwhelmed the flavor, so most of what I ate tasted like burnt eggplant. The place is clean and fairly laid back for a more upscale restaurant. If you're looking for a nicer restaurant in Chapel Hill where you might spend a little more, but you'll get great service with interesting food options / combinations, then look no further than Hawthorne & Wood.

Service was great, and I was impressed that the staff remembered a food allergy in our party. We started with the cheese board--quality ingredients, though I prefer sliced cheeses and flatbread for easier sharing. The jam was a standout! My short rib entree was savory, with tender (but not fall-off-the-bone) meat, paired nicely with roasted eggplant, green chickpeas, and a touch of sweetness from the pomegranate jus. The eggplant was more charred than I prefer, but the flavors worked well overall. Cocktails were well-made, portions satisfying, and while entrées are on the pricier side, you leave full and happy.

The staff who greeted us was extremely friendly and accommodating. We were sat with the stipulation that there was a reservation behind us in an hour and a half which was very doable for us. My fiance loved his old fashioned with an orange and fig bourbon. Our waiter was direct and down to business, likely because they were busy, but a great waiter none the less. The food was excellent! Elevated American bar food that was cooked to perfection and had some nice fusion flavors: sesame tuna with edamame, goat cheese, walnuts and a special kind of beet that made my salad fresh and earthy. Truffle and onions with smashed burger dipped in bubbly cheese is a comfort food dream. Same with the Mac n cheese with bacon, really tickles the indulgence fancy! It was very tart like cranberry and not very strong. I also ordered the grilled chicken sliders no mayo or tomato. It came with two. They were tasty. Slightly overcooked, but the cheese helped enough. I also had to order fries on the slide, which was slightly disappointing because the two sliders are already $15 and fries $8.50, even though I didn't order the side sauces that come with it. It felt $2 overpriced in both instances. I don't know if I'd get again, but the fries were seasoned well. My fiancé ordered the braised pork shoulder. The meat was tender and had a decent flavor. The mac and cheese was okay, nothing special. Overall, the dish was drowned in too much barbecue sauce to the point he felt he was eating more sauce than the entree. He subbed sprouts with fries, which were tasty. He wouldn't order again. It was a big portion though. Service was good. Music was okay, a bit random, but still fun.

Since it was a Monday night I was not expecting the restaurant to be busy and it wasn't. Plenty of open parking, no wait at all, and quick to be served. I ordered the smoked brisket which came on top of burnt end hash, collard greens, and topped with a bbq sauce/gravy. The brisket was so tender and a really thick cut. I typically like leaner cuts of meat and the meat was perfect, not too much fat. The sauce also complimented really nicely. The burnt end hash was also really good. The potatoes were tender and soaked up some of the juices from the greens and sauce. The greens were cooked perfectly. Not too soft and still had some crunch to them. They had a lot of flavor and had a touch of sweetness. I would get a bowl of them to eat on its own for sure. My coworker got the pork chop with mashed sweet potatoes and green beans which she said was really good. Her plate was vibrant in color from the vegetables and the pork chop looked well prepared. For dessert we shared the banana bread pudding with strawberry ice cream. The bread budding came out warm which was perfect to go with the ice cream which tasted homemade. I'm a sucker for anything strawberry though. The bread pudding had slices of banana throughout and held together well when eaten with the ice cream. Service throughout the evening was good. We were checked on and brought refills without having to flag down the waiter. Overall it was a great experience. I know I'll be back to RDU at some point so I'll be sure to come back.

The Asparagus & Mushroom Omelet was fluffy and packed with flavor from the goat cheese and pickled onions, while the buttery biscuit with jam on the side was a nice Southern touch. The Fried Green Tomato & Bacon Benedict was the standout of the meal. Crispy fried green tomatoes, perfectly poached eggs, smoky bacon, and rich hollandaise came together beautifully without feeling overly heavy. We couldn't leave without one more treat. The Strawberry Kiwi Margarita was bright, fruity, and balanced with just enough tequila and a zesty spiced citrus rim to keep it refreshing. To finish, we shared an Affogato, the perfect ending with creamy ice cream and a shot of hot espresso. If you're planning a Sunday brunch in Cary, make a reservation--you'll be glad you did. We'll definitely be back to explore more of the menu.

Will & Well is a great addition to Boxyard if you're looking for a fresh salad, grain bowl, or…read moresmoothie option. The setup is counter service, with a handful of premade salads and bowls on the menu, or you can build your own. The build-your-own option starts at $12.99 and includes your base, five toppings, one crunchy/dry topping, and dressing. Proteins are extra and range from about $4.25-$6.50, with options including tofu, shrimp, chicken, steak, and tuna. I opted for a build-your-own bowl with chicken, which came out to just under $20 before tip. At first, that felt a little pricey to me, but the portion size was absolutely massive. Honestly, it was large enough to easily make two meals, which made the value feel much better. The woman helping me was incredibly friendly and even let me sample three different dressings before deciding. I also appreciated that you can get your dressing on the side if you prefer. All 3 I tried were good, but all very different, and I'm glad I had a chance to try them! One thing to note is that it was fairly warm inside the business, which gave me a little pause considering it's a salad-focused concept. That said, everything tasted fresh and high quality. There were only two employees working during my visit on a Wednesday around 6:30, and with about 4-5 people ahead of me, it took around 20 minutes to place my order, get my bowl made, and check out. The staff was working hard, and being incredibly helpful, but if you're in a hurry, just plan accordingly. Overall, I'd definitely return. It's nice to have a quality salad option at Boxyard, the ingredients were fresh, the portions were generous, and the service was helpful and kind. Just be prepared that there may be a bit of a wait and to spend around $20 if you're adding protein (but you can easily share or make two meals from it!!!) My picture doesn't do the size justice I promise!

I had been meaning to stop in to visit Will and Well for months and was not disappointed when I…read moredid! I'd seen that celebrity Tabitha Brown stopped by recently and loved the salads, which made me want to visit even more. I stopped through on a weekday afternoon. I ordered the signature salad, Salsa Verde with quinoa (you can add your choice of grain) and a freshly made hibiscus juice (so refreshing!). Everything was so fresh and so delicious. The salad was coated with just the amount of dressing and the sweet potatoes on the salad were a special treat, making the salad both unique and delicious! The hibiscus juice was refreshing and not syrupy sweet like many juices from other establishments. I will definitely be back to try other salads!
