The sandwiches are always good. I particularly like their bread as it is not too sweet and not too thick. The bread to fillings ratio can be just right without the bread overwhelming the sandwich with either size or flavor, making for a good balance. My biggest problem with every Jimmy John's is the loudness of the music. I understand it is designed that way intentionally to encourage quick customer turnover. I actually looked it up and got this, "loud music stimulates a subconscious feeling of being in a fast-paced environment, which encourages customers to eat quicker and leave sooner. Ultimately, the loud music is a deliberate environmental cue designed to align with the brand's 'freaky fast' service model, focusing on efficiency rather than a leisurely meal." Well, they hit the mark, congratulations, Jimmy John's. But I can honestly say that on more than a handful of times, I have passed by JJ to get to Jersey Mike's for this reason. Delivery order for 3 people to our office took over 2 hours. When I called after 45 minutes I was told they "ran out of bread" but our order would be next and arrive in 30 more minutes, which didn't happen. Ron the district manager "confirmed" with me that the home office was issuing a refund but now it has been more than 20 days since he told me that. Nate the store manager was kind when I spoke with him several times about the issue and seemed to understand my frustration. Was looking for a change of pace so popped in here for something different. Fresh bread daily. Great to hear. Got the Perfect Italian. It was perfect if you don't mind the possibility of cutting your mouth on the crust, barely any meat (something had to be left off,) & PLENTY of lettuce and LOTS of onions. I didn't even finish it. I've been here twice (not much for eating out) and it has always been great. They come in where I work to deliver and they're always friendly! We stopped in for a quick lunch and it was fassssssssstttttt! I turned around and the sandwich was already waiting for us. We got the Vito with extra meat and sliced cherry peppers. We tried JJ for the first time at Woods Crossing store. The employees were very nice and the sandwiches were fine but far from what I would call "gourmet". From the hype, I was expecting something different but it was meat and cheese with mayo, lettuce and tomato on a sourdough bun. Am I missing something? The food today was excellent as always ! Service was fast and friendly ! The latest price increase made the 3 combos cost more that I can honestly justify for sub sandwiches and chips, even really tasty sandwiches. At 9 or 10, the combo was barely worth it, but at 12 , I'm out. Has been a good relationship. ..but I'm tapping out for unreasonably high cost. This is my normal location and I normally get good service but not today. The young lady at the register was nice but seemed new therefor another young lady had to tell her the reason my coupon wasn't working therefor I just asked what sandwich I could get with my coupon. I was told I could be one of the favorites so I did. Then wouldn't you know the coupon still doesn't work so at this point I'm super annoyed because I'm on a lunch break and have already wasted 10 min at the register just trying to order. Coupon didn't work because it only works for sandwiches 1-6. So after they made 2 sandwiches that I can't use my coupon for and tell me I need to pick a third it's just not worth it. I can buy any sandwiches at any price point to qualify to receive your coupon but I only have the option to use the coupon on 6 of your cheapest sandwiches. And the icing on the cake the customer service rep tells me how to order what I want by adding ingredients to the sandwich that qualifies for the coupon. SMH then it's not a free sandwich DUH!!! All in all if you plan to use a reward ask for a manger to give you direction on which sandwich qualifies and which doesn't because the workers have NO CLUE read more

Stopped by jj today since the first place i ate at had very small portions. I know they are famous for being fast, but i had no idea that by the time i handed my money to the cashier my sub was ready. It was fair. Would i go out of my way to go there again? There sign says "Freaky Fast" and that's just what these guys are! However, just because you get fast service doesn't mean they skimp on quality! 1st class sandwiches made with REAL ripe tomatoes ( not the green ones you get at most places) and other quality ingredients! I went here for takeout for my wife and I, we were staying at a hotel nearby. The counter person was pleasant and efficient. The subs were made fairly quickly. My total order was two subs, two bags of chips, a sliced whole pickle and two bottles of water. I asked for a bag for the entire order and another employee (maybe the manager) pointed to the bags behind the counter because apparently they don't bag your order for you. He then watched me bag the order and when I asked if they had other larger bags he said no. So I had to use several small bags for the order and juggle everything as I left the restaurant. Then I had to go back to the restaurant because they forgot my pickle spears. Very mediocre service. Every other sandwich chain I frequent (Subway, Firehouse, Panera) buts your order in a bag for you. If you have a larger order they have a bigger bag to hold all the contents. I left annoyed which does not encourage me to frequent Jimmy John's regularly. The subs are decent but not any better than the the other choices in the area. read more
