There is nothing plain about the Plain Jane baked potato. The potato was huge!! And so delicious. Jason's Deli is my new favorite spot. The salad bar has a ton of options and the soft serve is such a cute amenity. I also tried the pot pie, I have only good things to say about it. read more

Don't order here very often. And now I will never order again. Went online placed an order for delivery at 712 received confirmation and waited for 2 hours before going to pick up food from somewhere else. It is now the next morning my order never came. read more

At a slow time of day, coffee bad, tea out as were several items on the salad bar. Jason's is generally better than this store presents.

Staff appeared to be well organized, could have been a bit more friendly though (very dry personalities). Food came out quick and was pretty good. Haven't found too many quick service places in Temple that offer healthy alternatives. Like the salad bar and free ice cream as well. Soft serve ice cream hits the spot after your meal. read more

This place from what I've seen is pretty nice. The atmosphere is great, it isn't noisy here even during lunch time and the staff are decent and friendly. Although I usually order for 'To Go' , my food gets done in a timely manner and the outcome of what my food looks like, tastes like etc. is what I always expected. The sandwiches are packed with generous amounts of meat. The bread is fresh and tasty, cheddar/broc soup is served hot and delicious. You wont wait long for your meals to be ready. The dinning room is too open and there is absolutely no privacy. It can get too crowded and the seating configurations don't lend themselves well to walking around. read more

The food is fine here and I like the ice cream, but they should take coffee off the menu. They only serve 2 kinds - cold and out.

We visit Jason's Deli at least twice a week. They have such a variety of foods and salads that work for my medical diet.

only my second time coming here & yall took 30 minutes to bring me my food!! gave everyone who ordered AFTER me their food first. i had to tell yall TWICE what i had & yall failed to make it even then. never comimg back. AWFUL service!!!!! read more

Sooooo.... First, I am not a complainer, so it is out of my character to do this. However, I feel like I need to say something. We are at the Jason's Deli in Temple, and I ordered a salad and a bowl of tomato soup. The girl behind the counter hands me a dirty plate, then gets aggravated when I ask for a new one. Then, my husband has to clean off a table for us to eat at cause the only clean spots are the bar stool seats, and it is not a busy time. Then they come out and inform us there is no tomato soup after we have already paid and sat down. We never have these problems at the Waco one. Last, a man, not connected with us, walks up to the counter to order something, and he does not even get acknowledged, so he turned around and left. There were at least 2 girls behind the counter just talking at that time. To make it all better, one of the girls behind the counter says, loud enough for me to hear, " Go home people! " Needless to say, we are not eating here again! read more

Very nasty inside. Needs a good cleaning, Service not good. Too many standing around doing nothing. I ordered 1/2 sandwich managers deal, however, they charged me $2 less than whole sandwich cost and charged for side. Think I will take my business elsewhere. read more

The sandwich beef eater had lots of meat and cheese. Give you aujus sauce with plenty for the sandwich. Had french onion soup very salty and beef flavored.at one point it was good. Then had broccoli and cheese a soup good but had to many big stalks of broccoli. Give you don't serve ice cream which is a nice treat. read more

Thank goodness we don't have to eat "pretend" deli like McCalister's. How DO they stay in business. This one is new, and is a small format. Once they learn the ropes, how to deliver, they'll be fine. Had a sandwich and a cup of soup there. Good. Remember, they DO have Gluten Free Sandwich Bread, so if you are, go. Nice addition to Temple. Not sure why people would choose Temple but for Scott and White. Otherwise, it's a little low end. Hey, it's their money. Build it and I will come. Already have. read more

The store is clean and neat. The service was good. I ordered a roast beef sandwich on gluten free bread with the meat heated and the bread toasted. The meat was ice cold and very rare and the bread was not toasted. Some of the other Jason Deli locations will heat the meat and some dont. The cashier put it into the computer but i guess the kitchen doesnt know how to read and follow the directions. read more

Seriously they don't deliver after 6pm even though they are open until 10. LAME!

This Jasons was a big disappointment. I ordered coffee and cheesecake. Coffee was cold! It is a deli how can you not keep the coffee service going. Told the counter girl and she looked at me with vacant expression and she just said ok. So easy to teach that please, thank you and I'm sorry are the magic words. Then was going to sit down to eat cake and ALL TABLES WERE FILTHY. NOT DIRTY WITH CRUMBS. FILTHY. I went back to counter and a COOK had come out to make new coffee, give me my coffee refund and then took responsibility for dirty tables. She was apologetic which was upsetting on several levels. She was noticeably busy in kitchen but came out in front to do the work that the 2-3 young, lazy, crude girls DID NOT, COULD NOT or WOULD NOT do. Yet another woman came out from behind, I am guessing she was in charge. When she saw the situation sge quickly turned tail and fled. So so sad and indicitive of the state of the U.S. and the poor service industry. read more
